I'm a MY, and I didn't even notice Ningning and Giselle's weight loss. They have just always looked great for me.
I felt Ningning looked really good in latest Savage promotion, I thought it is because blonde suited her well more than black hair in BM or flashy red in NL. Also, I feel they know how to dress her better recently.

If people have come to criticizing the "original visual" Irene, that just says something about people's standards. Also, for every other idol (male or female) they are all perfect the way they were. If you ever go above a healthy amount of weight, if you feel ok, it's alright. If it stops you from doing certain activities then it is a problem. As a public figure who is required to sing, dance, model etc. I understand that there needs to be a certain type of body but everyone should understand that these people are human just like everybody else. Most of them sacrificed so much I think they deserve to eat well. If you are body shamed, made fun of because of something that you don't have control of, don't cry, don't have bad thoughts about it, move on. It is your life, your decisions. We all live once, let's treat each other as equal, be respectful, help others in need if you are in the situation to do so. Say something nice every once in a while, it goes a long way. let's all be human.

Ningning reminds me so much of Suzy. The way they both got hated for having "fat" body during their debut days, then suddenly they lose weight and now everyone loves their visual so much.
Its scary for most foreign idols like Ningning. Because if you know kpop, foreign members are usually not appreciated by the knetz and are the target of malicious hate. And for her to be suddenly compared to big visuals in the industry just because she shed weight, imagine how other foreign idols might view it.

Ningning was always freakishly beautiful. I never understood why people were bashing her.
Once when I was in 6 or maybe 7 grade I lost I massive amount of weight because I wanted to be so what they call "PRETTY" . I skipped all of my breakfasts and I ate a little during lunch and I didn't ate dinner and I lost weight in like a week and the glow on my face was gone like I used to have a natural blush on my cheeks but after the extreme weight loss all that left on my face was dark circles. But when I came in 8grade I was like I don't freaking care about these beauty standards and I gain weight and now I'm much healthier

Me too around maybe 3th grade , all the girls in the class would fat shamed me but I was average because looking back at old photos I was not as fat as I thought back then . Then I realised I was growing rapidly at that time , so it was natural to gain a little bit of weight but that insult was unnecessary 🙄 . But now I am happy I didn't take their insults too seriously because them dieting making then shorter than they should be 💁🏻♀️ and one even become obese .

Omg I did the same thing but now I'm stuck in a cycle of starving myself and then eating normally. I can barely keep my food down since I don't eat much and when I actually eat a decent amount I just throw it up. I rlly liked how I looked when I was skinny even though ik I was just skin and bones. Ig the idea of being skinny is beautiful is drilled into my brain from everything I've experienced... I rlly wish I could be happier with myself but I don't think that's gonna happen any time soon- 😭

I honestly clicked on aspeas videos because I thought Ning Ning was super pretty and didn't look like she was copied and pasted into the kpop world. I feel that some of these may be the result of plastic surgery instead of weight lost, especially when it looks like their whole facial or jaw structure is different. This isn't hate, it just is a possibility as to why some look so different, because yes weight loss does change your face but only to a certain extent

God, I'm so glad everyone had their own opinion.... This whole weight stuff is just crazy. I think all of em were beautiful then and now. It's not like they were highly overweight or unhealthy. Sure, they say it's because of being more flexible in dancing and stuff, but I'm just talking about the visual appearance.
