At 11 there's probably things you aren't even aware of yet that you may decide to pursue once you become aware of them, so just make sure your plans aren't too rigid until you're a bit older. Also, always brush your teeth, don't get caught doing anything illegal, and don't do drugs you can OD on.
I'm 14
I've always been afraid of failure so put a lot of resources into education and book smarts in hopes of getting a good, steady, well paying job. Now I'm afraid of depression and hating my job when I'm there. I'm afraid of getting totally bored with it and rethinking my life when it's way too late. Also, I live in a country where the more creative and artistic jobs pay very badly. I don't have enough resources to move to a better country where these jobs would be more appreciated.

Your painting Jonathan in a bad light. In the beginning of the story it sounded like his plan was to work at the bar until he retired. He was happy, making money, and had no debt. Sounds amazing if you ask me. It wasn't his fault that his place got shut down. At that point, Jonathan was winning. The only thing is after the bar he was working at got shut down, he should've tried to get another bartender job until he found one, or try to own a bar of his own. He found out what he loved and didn't pursue it, that's the real problem

There’s always hope it’s never to late but there’s no time better then now to adjust your life plans set your goals and chase the successful life u know you deserve the longer you keep that mentality the harder it will be to see a more successful version of yourself or better yet become that . set new goals write down your dreams and see what you can do now what changes you need to make to have these things you want and deserve. You got this that’s the beautiful thing about life your the author of your own story/book/life nobody but you can decide what you want for yourself so the more you strive for(realistic) things that you want and can work towards then the more likely you are to get it, the probability excessively increases in your favour on the contrary the more you procrastinate and the money you spend on hoping to win the lottery is surely setting your life up for failure if you want success think differently change your mindset. the money you spend on the lottery can be passively invested and multiplied while you find another job to keep yourself going as another source of income to work towards anything u want to achieve. create some excitement and welcome these changing times the initial change starts from within you have to know what you want realistically before you put plans in place so you know what your working towards instead of working aimlessly for years and finding yourself in a stalemate. Take control of your future for yourself before any one else

2. Get hobbies that either save you money or make you money = creating digital art, gardening
3. Invest in things that are resilient even through market crashes such as well managed ETFs run by Vangaurd & Gold
4. Buy an inexpensive house & pay it off very quickly

Is joining the military (specifically the USMC) a good idea or no? I’ve never been a very big fan of the education system here in the U.S and as a result have very little interest in pursuing higher education after high school so I’m not exactly sure what to do after I graduate. I wanna enlist because I want to serve this country, I want to improve my social and leadership skills, get fit, and also the Marine uniforms are bad ass lol. I acknowledge that the pay is not very good and that I have to stay for 4 years, however that’s a risk I’m willing to take if I actually get something beneficial out of it. Will it actually help me do something with my life or will it only set me back 4 years behind my peers?

I was a John. Then I started big tech and traveled around the country living in San Diego. Then I lived in Miami. Truth be told my third week moving in Miami it was all gone and now I have go back to the rat race like John and start over. My plan was start my own tech company for catering. I plan to be a bartender for work while I stack money start my business. It may not be a direct result in direction but it’s better than being John at the beginning.

Having a dream is great for goal making but it’s made out to be the only way you can choose your career. If you want to live a life of fulfillment, you can either do what is needed in this world (making food, providing clean water, volunteering help, medical work, building homes for the poor, finding cures for disease, defending the oppressed...) , or you can plan for a life that is pleasurable to you and meets your standards of living (simply getting a job that doesn’t stress you, finding comfortable housing and so on, to focus on enjoying the present moment and doing whatever you want). Between the two, all I will say is when you start to search for meaning in this life, the life of the volunteer, doing what is needed, hard not to feel somewhat fulfilled taking that route over the other. You also may look back however many years from now and feel less regret for having helped your fellow man, though self-indulgence is why Ferrari’s sell. All in all, don’t stress it too much, just start with small goals that just feel right, use your head to weigh your decisions and give yourself a reason to trust in your gut. No one has it all figured out either, we’re all blindfolded paving paths based off of what we’ve heard is true not always knowing the true terrain, the most important thing is that you live a life that serves you. You are as important as anyone, start small and I hope you’re doing well, sorry this ran on a bit.

If you leave one with infinite time but point out nothing... Shit ain't gonna happen. Im not saying "you do that because everyone else does that" im saying "you do that because you are good at it" like my parents encouraged me to study foreing languages. They didn't force me into it.
