Heater blower fan resistor mercedes vito Part 1

The fan in my Mercedes Vito stopped working. There was a problem with faulty resistor. This video will show you the process.
I have bought resistor from euro car parts and it wouldn't fit and didn't work either. They were happy to give me the money back so I bought the original resistor from Mercedes and it fits and works perfectly.

My fan doesn't work and something makes a noise like it wants to move but is unable to when i turn the heat from cold to hot.
Any idea if that's the resistor or something else?

Ich habe das gleiche Problem, aber sollte ich den Lüfter oder den Wärmekondensator wechseln? Weil der Lüfter nur bei Nummer 5 nicht funktioniert

Yes, you have to change both. The resistor goes bad because the fan is going bad. The bearings go bad and provide too much resistance on the fan.

I had the same problem. I changed the module but after a few months it stopped working again, same symptoms. The fan ended up having bad bearings so i had to replace it, and instead of buying a new module for 25€ i just bought a pack of 167°C thermal fuses and replaced it myself for 1€. So far it works great.

Gościu ale stękasz po angielskuuuuu. Daj se siana i zrób to po polsku. Anglicy i tak z tego nie skorzystają bo oni jadą do mechanika płacą i tyle w temacie.
