Yes! I had that exact troll model in my collection along with two others. Man now I'm even more disappointed that they are gone. Those old sculpts had such great personality to them I think, and a really good paint job as always.
I have I think 6 or 7 of these with all the different poses and I still want more, too bad they're really expensive now. It's a strange obsession my friends agree, but the old metal Stone Trolls just have SO much character and embody that old fantasy aesthetic/vibe perfectly
Wiping a drybrush on that MDF instead of paper towel is genius! No more tiny paper towel cling-ons for me! I really like what you did here Sergei, and the wet blending example on the stomach was top notch. Great finished product.
@@MiniQuest64 You are showing the steps (in general) for a very short time. I couldn’t even pick up the areas on the model what I need to paint. Your painting job is spot on, but it’s a bit hard (at least to me) to follow your work.
@Steve S, thank you for your constructive criticism! I guess if you try to paint a model in real time with a video, that's pretty much impossible to do. When I watch painting tutorials, I watch a scene a a couple of times until I finally try it myself, as soon as I have a problem, I rewatch that part. I tried to create a video that complements that watching-behavior, giving a "manual" good and long enough for the viewer to tackle the problem by himself and improve through overcoming that.

I hoped so to be honest :D Wanted to make a video with one of the miniatures you mentioned last time, as a little thank you =)

Thank you for this. Very helpful 😊
Weiter so mein Lieber.

Great looking troll, especially the hide.

Thanks for this awesome video! Good inspiration for my own trolls.
Glad you enjoyed it! Are you going to paint some Fantasy ones?
@@MiniQuest64 yeah, i have a couple of AOS ones and some older ones that i plan on painting soon.
Nice Athlean quote there …
I love that guy ^^
@@MiniQuest64 he’s no John Mwadows but he’s pretty good :)
This video is too fast man... you can show the various steps a bit longer...
Hey @Steve S, which part of the video was too fast in your opinion? Did you have difficulties following a certain step?
