That moment when you realize that so many masterpieces you actually have had heard once for the first time, and now you may not even remember the moment when you heard them first, but it must have been beatiful and that's why you wish to experience it again.
When the guitarists tries to sabotage the "love" song but accidentally makes it utterly unforgettable while making you feel the frustration of the narrator.
what’s the beans? what’s unhappy keyboard? what’s child b? what’s remembic? what’s boo to the chief? what’s outside rainfalls? what’s the queen of arms? what’s b sun sized river?
My Dads 1st time seeing this video not long after its release he looks over at me and says "Buddy reminds me of Martin Short" and then says..."is he saying Creep?" Then he laughed. RIP Dad.
I may be alone on this, but i've never been big into radiohead, I've tried a lot of times through the years, because i really thought i'd become a fan, but this song i still love and it's one of the greatest hits of the 90's. ❤
As a very big fan of Radiohead - “In Rainbows” is probably the most immediately accessible, digestible album they have yet produced. Yea it’s not for everyone but If you listen to “jigsaw falling into place” or “Reckoner” for the first time and it doesn’t send a chill right up your asshole then with all due respect, you’re probably a sociopathic murderer 🤠
I might be 18, but I grew up on good music since I was little. Listening to heavy stuff like Mudvayne while I was in the womb and then being born, listening to a little bit of everything over the years starting with Metallica from 6 months-2 years and since then, listening to bands like Primus; The Cure; Pink Floyd; Nine Inch Nails; The Beatles (not very much but some); The Rolling Stones (that's a favorite); Supertramp; The Doors; Nirvana; Radiohead; The Smashing Pumpkins; Rage Against The Machine; Red Hot Chili Peppers; Alice In Chains; Soundgarden; Audioslave; Stone Temple Pilots; Helmet; The Breeders; Hum; Linkin Park; Miles Davis; Public Enemy; 2Pac; my bloody valentine; Coldplay; LSD And The Search For God; and Cocteau Twins. Still some bands that I can't think of at the moment of writing this that are currently not listed. There used to be some bands that I liked such as Led Zeppelin and Green Day, but I can't stand them anymore (not sure why. I think I just grew out of them). For the most part, I love most stuff from the 90s and some stuff that's been put out in the 2000s (because Coldplay is just one of those modern bands that are actually good) but also some 60s, 70s, and a smidge of the 80s. I'm with Thom Yorke on this one. I don't like this song. I much prefer My Iron Lung from The Bends.
You had a great musical upbringing! Iron Lung is an amazing song. I listened to Radiohead everyday on my way to and from work for over a decade then I had to stop working. Listening on different devices and headphones is great too because there are so many layered sounds that aren’t picked up. Garbage is a pretty great band. The drummer, Butch Vig produced Nevermind as well as Gish and Siamese Dream. Shirley Manson has a rich sexy voice. I’d start with their self named first album. Oh and The Pixies of course! I’d suggest their greatest hits to start. But I’m guessing you’ve probably listened to what I’m suggesting and they just slipped your mind. Like Depeche Mode? The Stones are also my favorite older band. Hope you’ve got friends who appreciate your music. The 90’s were truly amazing!
@@phoenixgirl70 I actually have quite a lot of friends that listen to what I listen to. Some of them don't know who my bloody valentine or Cocteau Twins are though. And I've heard some Depeche Mode, but was never a huge fan of them at first. I'll have to go back and listen to a few albums and see about now. Also, Garbage, The Pixies, and The Stones will be on my listening list. I'll make sure to keep note of those. Thanks for the recommendations. I've heard some Pixies songs, but not a full album yet.
That's quite the eclectic list of great taste in music. Especially for an 18-year-old. What you probably haven't yet realized, especially since you've devoted so much time to so many great bands already, is that there is more amazing music out there than one person could ever fully realize in just one lifetime... A lot of it comes from small bands trying to make it. Some of the best music comes from small band to are on the cusp but never pushed through, and others who do push through and turn out absolutely brilliant music, but never reach the stratosphere, as it were. Both of these two suggestions definitely made it, though you'll have to see, if it interests you, where they're at today. Check out: • Foals - album "Holy Fire" • Frightened Rabbit - album "Pedestrian Verse" I'd check it out in that order. Put on your best headphones, earbuds or speaker system... Crank the volume up and just let it envelop you. Both of these suggestions are full album listens. Then, on a different day when you are in a more relaxed mood, get yourself in the best possible music fidelity position & allow Frightened Rabbit to affect you quite immensely... Again, these aren't albums with filler music. They are full albums listens that are designed to start from the beginning and listen through... Back to my larger point, you've got great taste in music, but because you are so young, it's hard to fathom how much great music is out there that you've yet to hear or even hear of. These are but two names that popped to mind when I thought about responding to you. Let me know what you think...
I'm not no "young clown." I might only be 18, but I grew up on good music since I was little. I was thinking about this guy like 30 minutes ago and how I haven’t seen a video of his in a while…I open UA-cam just now, click on shorts , and there he is…can google hear my thoughts now?
I’ve been lucky to see them many times but only hear creep about 3. And the thing that sucked was Johnny only did the guitar thing once, and it adds so much to the song! I don’t know why he’s made that choice. Love your videos always! You get the feelings across so well! And they’re always good feelings. Just happy videos. I don’t like the word content. Is there a word you like best? Skits? Visualizers? Acts? Jacobites? (Sorry, some jokes are so bad I just have to share)😅
One of of their worst songs, and no its not because im trying to seem cool, I genuinely think the only good tracks on pablo Honey are you and blow out, grunge just wasn't their genre
I had a friend who thought the lyric was “I’m a creek, I’m. River” to be fair it would be a kind of deep lyric, but still makes me giggle.
I used to think it was "wiener" 😂
@@traceyb3345 lol
That's made my day 😂
😄👍
LOL
I’ve listened to so many artists sing this song, and do it justice. IMO, Radiohead does it best. It is one of my favourites. Thanks for playing it. ❤
As someone once said about this song: "That's fucking Rock n Roll in its essence."
That moment when you realize that so many masterpieces you actually have had heard once for the first time, and now you may not even remember the moment when you heard them first, but it must have been beatiful and that's why you wish to experience it again.
This gave me chills!!! Thanks for letting me hear this for the first time again 💙
When the guitarists tries to sabotage the "love" song but accidentally makes it utterly unforgettable while making you feel the frustration of the narrator.
this song still gives me goosebumps
So true. Love 90s music!
Lmao 😂 “this is bumming me out.”
It says a lot about the band that they had their biggest hit before they made the absolute best album of the nineties.
Sometimes I think how much privilege I have to deliberately spend time listening to songs that make me sad
❤
Patrice O’Neal had a great bit about this.
Yes I love that bit! 😂 it’s so true.
His stuff on the Beatles was also hilarious. I miss him so much.

RIP Dad.
This is the first song I ever slow danced to,in high school.
I’ve been waiting for this one. 😂 I definitely remember hearing this for the first time and having the same reaction.
When he relates to "weirdo" at the end 😂

Not alone. Pretentious band
You're not a weirdo. It's not for everyone.
I don't like all of it, but I love a good bit of it.
I felt the same way until I sat down with Kid A and Amnesiac. Give those 2 albums a good listen they may change your mind

I appreciated this

I thought he sang "winner" for like 10 years
at the time, I thought it was 'creep, I'm an angel'
Hey, made sense to me!!
Happy 32nd birthday to the song creep
JacobGivens is the winner of silent disco!
Your videos are so great! ....I AM a weirdo😂😂

I’m 46 years old and I just learned that he says weirdo instead of winner 😂
That is exactly how I felt about it and it was almost certainly at that exact time when it came out.
i fine it funny how many bands have a song they tried to make sound bad end up being a mega hit
You remember it just like it happened.
So trueee
Me : heartbroken over a girl
Friend: listen to this song
Me: damn .. i am a weirdo
I was there. 13 year old.
One of my fav
I love your channel..like watching me back then ❤😊
Almost sounds like MUSE 😂
I cried and shit myself when I first heard this in 92
I was an infant but I think the song really impacted me
I think it's time for a "what it was like hearing Velvet Revolver - Slither for the first time!
Other suggestions:
Linkin' Park - Faint
Godsmack - Awake
Slipknot - Sic
Idk why but you remind me of that one alien from Men In Black who was looking back in time to watch baseball games.
I was thinking about this guy like 30 minutes ago and how I haven’t seen a video of his in a while…I open UA-cam just now, click on shorts , and there he is…can google hear my thoughts now?
Sei fortissimo😂😂
"this is bumming me out"
this doesnt even crack top 15 saddest radiohead songs
hearing it for the first time is cool, now it just feels like a buzz song that pretentious singers perform on famous talent shows
😂 😂😂 Ti adoro davvero!!!Non ne sbagli una di canzone, amo tutte quelle che scegli e le reazioni 😂 tipo che ci metti, è tutto fottutamente Vero 😊❤!!!
You just came up as recommended and I subbed instantly! I had the same reaction when I first heard it as a teenager 😄 Awesome stuff 😂
I’ve been lucky to see them many times but only hear creep about 3. And the thing that sucked was Johnny only did the guitar thing once, and it adds so much to the song! I don’t know why he’s made that choice.

😂 love it! I used to think it was winner, too 😂 mind you I was, like, 13.
And then you never hear anything that sounds like it from the band again. Lol
😂❤
They became famous for making this rocking song, and then never made anything else like it again.
The Bends? Ok Computer? Hail to The Thief? Creep is pretty much a ballad. They have whole albums of heavier stuff.
Мужик ты зашёл с козырей 😊
Agreed.
Can you do some Helloween?
I'm a weirdo too
I always thought he said weiner
O just listened to Pablo honey (the main song is Creep, i know) for a week, my honest opinion, Stop whispering is better than Creep
I just wish edgy weirdos would stop having kids choirs sing this for crap movie soundtracks.
Cut off right at my fav part 😔
We all weirdos
Is that an Ashes and Snow movie poster?
It was an art and photography exhibit called Ashes and Snow.
I am a weirdo 🤨
I am also a weirdo and i also do not belong here...
I dislike this song song as much as Thom does, and I a huge Radiohead fan.
Love me some Radiohead but never liked this song.
this is radioheads worst song
Acting like you actually heard it in '92 is cringe...
I you enjoy Creep, your not a real Radiohead fan
One of of their worst songs, and no its not because im trying to seem cool, I genuinely think the only good tracks on pablo Honey are you and blow out, grunge just wasn't their genre
Hated this song. Even when it came out.
Love radio head, tho.
I'm with you on that. But at the same time, I still kind of like it...God damn radio head😂
Radiohead hates it, too. Hasn’t performed it live in years.
