"I want you to notice when I'm not around" That line get's me every time.
Me too brother, me too
Me too
Smoge
I'm 54 and never had that type of love. Oh well. LOL At least we all had amazing music!!
Thom's voice encapsulates the pain and longing of the song.
This song STILL gives me goose bumps after all these years.
yeah I got goosebumps on the back of my skull :)
Same here, like the first time I heard it 30 years ago! 🥹
Me too! Powerful stuff.
I've probably listened to this song thousands of times (I'm old. 54 lol) and it still hits just as it did the first time I heard it on the radio. Some songs just transcend all senses...goosebumps are given to so many when they hear this song over and over. Do you remember where you were when you first heard it? I was in the car and I'm like WHAT IN THE HELL DID I JUST HEAR? It was so epic. The Stone Roses Fool's Gold did that to me, too. :)
I think 'Creep' is a modern day classic...its incredibly haunting and beautiful.
Shut up 😭
😢😮❤🎉
This song was an antham for all us geeks, creeps n weirdos, even all these year's on, it still breaks me .
thats why i hate it lol, too incel for me
@@chao3948how is it incel? Shut up
@@WildXstElementZ bro just read the lyrics. my man thom yorke literally stalked a girl for like what a week? Btw if youre mad because I said I hated the song that's just a joke Radiohead is my favorite band lmao
I feel seen 😊
@@chao3948 Thom and his band (except for Ed) were such a weirdos, but they were making good songs tho
Thom Yorke's voice is unlike any you've ever heard. You want to hear the full scope of his range and emotional spectrum, check out "Fake Plastic Trees." "Karma Police" is also a major trip.
Ooooh I always forget about karma police. SO good
...& don't forget "Paranoid Android."
man, gotta listen to his straight acoustic versions. he really lets go. he does have a great voice. this vid didn't do it justice.
also exit song is wonderful
Also Street spirit (fade out) is a certified classic
The sarcasm, insecurities, pain and defeat oozing from the vocals. And the drop before the chorus!
Radiohead is the most important rock band of the past three decades.
This is one of the most covered songs because of it's dynamic lyric and emotion.
One of the best falsettos you'll ever hear. Period.
Oddly I've had this song stuck in my head for two weeks after seeing a meme with a bakery theme:
"I'm a crepe."
"I'm a weird dough."
"What the hell am I doughing here?"
"I donut belong here."
.....and trapped in my noggin.
Lol wow those are all great puns 🤣 👏
@@FabiolaMacabre ...buns
😂😂😂😂
😂 my dad is a baker & pastry chef. Will pass these on.
Go down the radiohead rabbit hole. Such a great band. I’d start off with the popular songs first
Fake plastic Trees
Paranoid Android
Karma Police
How to Disappear Completely
Reckoner
No fade out?
@@viorel-flaviuradu9757 those were just the starters. I’m open for fade out to be a starter too
Beautiful trauma!!! Amazing song!!!
HE CAN SING ... AND THATS LIVE .. NO ENHANCEMENT .. IM 75 AND THIS IS ON MY TOP TEN LIST ... OF FOREVER!
Radiohead is legendary..
Good Lord! I was 21 when it came out! Always a favorite!!!! Time flys..... 30 years later.....
'No Surprises' and 'karma police' are beautiful. Excited you are discovering this incredible band!
Funny thing is No surprises , karma police , and creep were the only radiohead songs I would listen to until I got more into radiohead .
Yes, he can actually sing. Thom Yorke is brilliant in a multitude of ways.
You should check out a live version of this track. It’s then that you realise just how well Thom can sing!! 😍😍🥰
One of the great rock anthems of all time
It’s definitely a haunting song but it’s done so well. I was laughing through the whole song because of the faces you were making. Yr faces reflected all the feelings that this band was vocalizing. Then you ask : why do i feel sad ? Too funny 😂
I'm not a fan of this band, but that point where he goes from falsetto to full bodied scream is freaking brilliant.
Much respect!
Damn u made people made how u formulated this statement 🤓
@@PleasantBackgeoundVideosi bet you look back at this comment and feel so proud
@@PleasantBackgeoundVideosat least he can formulate a statement damn look at your grammar bozo i had a stroke reading that 🤡
Postmodern jukebox ft. Haley Reinhart jazz cover of creep has 106 mill views, 58 wks top billboard jazz chart and critically acclaimed,. Haley is a voice that everyone falls in love. Haley is a master class vocalist.
You have the name wrong..you’re talking about Angelina Jordan …mummy says it’s bedtime James 😂
The song was on Radiohead's debut album, released in 1992, and it became a hit almost a year later.
Creep is one of the biggest anthems of all time. Thom Yorke has a great voice, but knows when to use it and when to hold back. My picks would be:
Fake Plastic Trees
My Iron Lung
Just
Paranoid Android
Electioneering
Exit Music (from a Film)
No Surprises
bro his voice is fire im love him best song ever 😩❤️
We all feel this way and can relate.. one of the greatest songs ever written❤❤❤and that guitar!!!!!❤❤❤❤
I first heard this song when Kim Hyun Joong sang it about 13 years ago on a radio talk show in Korea for SS501, my favorite Kpop group. It pops up as a cover every once in a while.. I think true singers appreciate it.
“There There” from the hail to the thief LP, the distanced travelled between the tracks is incredible and worth taking the journey to get to them. Radiohead never released a part2 album, ie no 2 of their albums sound the same.....and you never knew what they would release from album to album
There There I find obsessive. I keep coming back to it (the video is fabulously weird). Astrina does a great cover of it too.
The Best song of the 90s, Thom Yorke have such a beautiful Angelic voice,One of the most beautiful voice in the world
Just saw the him in concert, with his new band , calls THE SMILE,
Maybe one day RADIOHEAD, will come back together.
It was an Amazing Concert
I love how this guy had this happy attitude on start)) No time for fun, when you are listening radiohead))
Hey, this band was playing in early 1990’s- MTV played ALOT of their music and videos back then. Creep, Lotus flower, No surprises,Paranoid android-amazing!! Yes Thom Yorke can sing; you need to read the lyrics to get the drift of the songs. 15 Steps is one of my favorites.
I''m not the biggest Radiohead fan, but they are certainly known as one of the BIGGEST bands of the last 30 years. Pretty sure this was the first Radiohead song I ever heard and it was one of the top songs all through the 90s.
He wrote this song when he asked out the girl of his dreams and she rejected him calling him a creep
😥
she must have really hurt him
Dumb girl 👎
I heard a guy on the street sing this song and it was amazing! Now I know who did the original. It's a great song.
I only heard this song for the first time about a month ago. I have heard of the band but that’s all. I really, really like this song. I’m 68 and dance with the music when I hear it especially when I play it now in my car. 🤟🏻
54 year old here. You have just been changed for life. GenX has the most prolific music that will ever be created. I LOVE that younger generations can find the beauty and relatability to our music. Sadly, the world hasn't changed, and our problems are now your problems. I wish we had fixed it for you guys, but I'm so hopeful that your generation will make a huge difference
one of my favorite songs. Love your reaction!
Place this band, song and Thom in EVERY Top 10 known.
One of my all time favorites. Much Native Love
OK Computer - the entire album is top notch ... from start to finish. Perfect for a road trip 🙂
Yes & when it was released is was touted as the return of the "Full Album".
Thom yorke's voice is so haunting, absolutely love them, street spirit, paranoid android and Just are great ones to react to also.
'Creep' is so beautiful that even my piano cover sounds good! 😉
Congrats for choosing it!!! 👏👏👏👏
This song is one of the all time classics.
back when i was 21 {im 48 now} i worked on a roofing crew that were my home boys and wed go from place to place partying our assws off....but i would play that on my acoustic and sing it with my soul somewhere that had a good natural reverb and id look up from my musical journey and id see 20-50 faces staring at me like who tha fxxk R UUU!!? And it was on after that ...being young and free from hometown judgement ..people seen me as me without a past to paint the picture it was magical.
This song never gets old.
Nope I keep it on repeat top down on the Vette✌🏿
always liked this song,, i was fortunate to be based at a us airforce base in southern turkey around 2001,,, we went to a karaoke night on the base and despite embarrassing ourselves by not taking it seriously what really did stay with me was the whole of the room singing when this was played
airmen from all creeds and backgrounds along with obviously the white airmen and women were singing all together almost like it was an anthem,,,
left me a little bit shocked and surprised but happy a little bit of british culture was so liked by all backgrounds
Love this song, glad you found it
Just subscribed to your channel nephew. Keep the bangers coming. 🤎🤎🤎🖤🖤🖤
Another AMAZING version is done by Hayley and Post Modern Jukebox.
Also India Carny scary pockets
Haley is the greatest singer.
@@jjack2780 she's extremely sultry, think Jessica Rabbit.
@@ecangian Haley is Jessica Rabbit in human form
I've covered this live with my band. Or band at the time anyway. Great song. It always goes over well.
Do check out some more by them. They have a ton of great tracks. I really think you'll be a fan of most of their stuff.
Thanks for that song. Great song. Greetings from Belgium.
Love that you reviewed the uncensored version.
Give Post Modern Jukebox's cover of it a listen. Completely different outlook on the song and probably the best cover I've ever heard
LOL you paused it to say "gosh"! Awesome man, love your song reaction vids.
Stay rocking dude 🤘❤️
🏝🔥🔥this is the PERFECT EXAMPLE of Simplicity is best. Still Hits just as hard as a complicated, layered piece. This J 🔥4ever🇬🇺🏝
Post modern jukebox does an amazing cover of this. Well worth a reaction.
Seems most are not recommending it, but I have a special place in my heart for "Exit Music (For a Film)" which I discovered via Ramin Djawadi's cover version in Westworld. 😉
Edit: It has a slow build, but totally worth it at the end.
Also check out the Djawadi cover (from the Westworld soundtrack), which is pure instrumental but just as intense
I recommend checking out Radiohead songs "Paranoid Android", "No Surprises", "Spirit Street" and "Karma Police".
I must be very old to be surprised to see someone who has never heard Radiohead... especially this one of them.
Hi from France where we know Radiohead pretty much well. ^^
Postmodern Jukebox featuring Hayley Reinhart
Their version?!?!? Dude, it's the original....And no one can bring the emotion like Thom Yorke. It's a crime that you haven't heard of Radiohead until 2 weeks ago! You got to check out their albums, Pablo Honey and OK Computer... 2 of the best albums from the 90's
in rainbows the best imo
One of the best English bands. Song is years old
i'm not the biggest Radiohead fan, but this song always hits the spot for me, i duno why
Street spirit or how to disappear completely are some of their best pieces
You should DEFINITELY react to the Postmodern Jukebox version of this sung by the GREAT Haley Reinhart. This song has been covered a zillion times, usually to failure, but this album/video version and the PMJ version are the undisputed best versions.
This song is definitely in the conversation for songs that have been covered the most that honestly shouldn’t of been. Thom Yorke is a Mount Rushmore alternative music male vocalist.
It’s him, Cobain, Chris Cornell and Eddie Vedder for me.
i love how they use piano for the first time right at the end to close the song out. Fantastic.
He's fantastic, emotive ☮️💜🤘✨️
You should check out Post Modern Jukebox featuring Haley Reinhart's cover of "Creep". It will blow your mind.
As much as a I genuinely love both Haley and PMJ, both Brian Justin Crum and Vincint Cannady did it better. All are great renditions.
I love her version.
A lot of people are recommending songs from their albums "The Bends" and "Ok Computer", but if you want to hear more great songs from their other albums then these are good ones.
. How To disappear Completely
. Idioteque
. Pyramid Song
. 2 + 2 = 5
. There, There
. Nude
. Weird Fishes/ Arpeggi
. Jigsaw Falling Into Place
Prince covered Creep at Coachella. Another great cover version 💜
There is a great unique version of this I think you would love by Postmodern Jukebox featuring Haley Reinhart "Creep"
A beautiful song he sings with PJ Harvey on Stories From the City, Stories From the Sea, called "The Mess We're in".
It's next level self loathing rock. Beautiful and so sad.
'UNINVITED' BY ALANIS MORISSETTE ... ANOTHER DEEPLY POWERFUL, METALICA, 'SANDMAN' (RUSSIA W/1.6MIL ATTENDING!!!)
I love your reaction :)
This has been my "theme song" since the 90s
The Brits ruled the 90's and 2000's damn. These guys, Oasis, Blur, the Verve, they were stacked - RESPECT
I'd argue they ruled the 60s and 70s too, truly a beast of a nation when it comes to music.
Love that you like it
His run in the live song he holds so long
Eu lembro que eu comprei 1 cd Pablo honey não parava de escutar todas faixas e fantástico cada música muito legal daí comecei comprar todos CDs
😀 I just discovered this song (because of a cover of it by a Johnny Depp lookalike). I’m slightly embarrassed because idk how I missed it all these years!
Always brings me back to Silence of the lambs
Thom Yorke has the most amazing voice. you should check out some more of them - Paranoid Android is great start but all their songs are amazing
bro you have to see the best live performance version of this song , i cant even talk . just watch it
I've been a Raiohead fan since I was 14 years old (I'm 37 now).
Pleeeeeease listen to "street spirit", "paranoid android", "exit music for a film", "there, there", "fake plastic trees", "nude" and "karma police". I could name so much more songs, but I feel like I'm getting too excited XD Greetibgs from Mexico!
You get emotional bcuz real music is meayto inspire so many feelings, it's a journey.
This is what us Metal Heads came down with after a Heavy Metal Night back in the day Babe.
The expression on this Guy's face listening to this song is so funny. 😂🤣😅
Radiohead are my favourite band ever, no one like them 💥 The Bends album is my favourite. Check out the video for ‘Street Spirit’ on here, it won awards, it’s a great song too
my favorite radiohead songs are Weird Fishes/Arpeggi, and Just. rlly good.
You are so stinking adorable ❤️ love your videos!! Watching from Tupelo Mississippi ✌️🇺🇸
I'm jealous that this is the first time you heard it! Emotional stuff.
Un classique, j ai 64 ans et j écoute toujours radiohead
It's from the album Pablo Honey released in 1992-1993
Real music!
Download the 'In Rainbows' album. My fave.
That's my song many movie soundtrack back in the day
Love love your facial expressions 😂🥰👍
Check out the girl and her parrot singing creep, so cool.
