Thank you so much for the video. My toilet with the WDI B3300-M valve has been running, making weird noises, and the water bill has been going up as a result. I followed this video and the toilets are no longer running or making weird noises. This video has saved me some money by not having to call a plumber, replace the valves or paying a higher water bill. Thanks again.

Thank you for this video. I have 2 of these toilets and both started giving issue within the same week. I had a plumber come and quote me $300 per toilet. I watched your video, took out the pieces and rinsed them, put them back in and everything works fine now. Saved me $600, thanks !!

Thank you - again, you are the ONLY video out there showing how to clean and/or remove this model - after much searching. You saved my bacon! Removed and cleaned as shown and it solved the slow, squeaky leak we had. This was a life saver...

Thank you very much for this! I had been looking for a video on how to dismantle this type of flushing mechanism, since my fill valve was not closing at all. This has saved me from hiring a plumber! God bless you sir!

Thanks for posting. I had the same problem and this fixed it. There was actually nothing inside, no dirt or scale or anything, so I am inclined to think that your "fix" only indirectly addresses the problem.

Thank you! Very easy to follow video. Just need to find a new seal now, as one of the little flaps has bent and won't go back.

Find it ! There is no other way than gently loosen the plastic pins with a screw driver to remove the fill valve cover. Finally solve the problem. Toilet is now working great.

Thanks! Great video. It was easier taking off than putting back on. Not sure how the locking clip on fill valve work as it totally came off. I slapped it back on but don’t know if I did it correctly but my noisy toilet is quiet now! Mine was just noisy when refilling. It wasn’t leaking but this fix worked! My rubber casket was getting old. Wonder if they sell new ones. I cleaned both gaskets.

Great video. I couldn’t remember how to get the head of the inlet valve apart and your video made it clear. It seems you have to clean the seals in the valve on these about every couple years or it will leak. Thanks!

Now, how did he remove the gray top from the fill valve? BTW he put the flash valve wrong. White side is the full flush which should be on the left. See the beginning of the video and than see the end. However I do appreciate the video, thanks!

So how do you attach the little clip on the left-hand column? Couldn’t figure it out, so just left it off. Where can someone get a repair manual for these things?

I am not able to loosen the fill-valve pushing on the black clip at the base. The black clib is just a rubber to ensure it is water tight no? or is there another clip that I am not seeing?

    • @SuperSj10

Ok; I worked backwards from 2:06 when you put it back in. Used a flat head screw driver to lever it up; cleaned the whole assembly in CLR. I didn’t remove the centre part just the top of the left thing. Another gasket that fell out-I put it in upside down and had to take it out again and flip it. Solved the moaning problem.

These things are such a pathetically stupid design; nice to know you can take them apart, but way more complicated, delicate, prone to clogging and hard to get parts for than can possibly be justified. Who comes up with this stuff? There's lots of designs on the market that work fine.
