Hi June. I'm 85 and I seen ELVIS in 1956 and 1957 and 1975. 1956 and 1957 was very wild. Girls climbed over chairs and each other and rushed the stage. I really couldn't hear Elvis or the band because of all the girls screaming. ELVIS did move like that on stage. He was full of energy. 1975 the women rushed the stage screaming and a few fights broke out when ELVIS would throw a scarf in the crowd the women wouldn't let go. ELVIS sounded great. It was that concert I heard for the first time ELVIS HAS LEFT THE BUILDING. the women wouldn't leave. They kept clapping their hands and chanted Elvis. I remember women crying when he would sing. I've been to alot of concerts in my time ROCK AND country. I can honestly tell you no one singer or band comes close to Elvis. He really is the king of Rock and Roll. His movies and interviews and concerts on tape are nothing compared to seeing him live. That man was blessed by God. The talent and excitement was off the charts.

James was devastated -- they sang Gospel together to all hours of the night at each others' homes. James Brown was considered family by the Presley they were so close.) I have my own memory of Elvis. I never met the guy but I did get to sit in the driver seat of his purple Cadillac in '74 or '75. From what I've found out he had sold it nearly twenty years before and by this time and it was looking forlorn, dusty and abandoned under a shed near where my mom and dad lived at the time. I was about 4 years old and I still remember sitting at the wheel of that car. The steering wheels were big on most cars back then and as young as I was it looked huge! My mom and dad had seen it on the way home a few times and finally stopped in and inquired about it. The owner let them look at it and opened it up. Mom wanted to know if I wanted to take her and dad for a ride and of course I said yes. ( I was known for doing that at home sometimes. ) I climbed up in the drivers seat and couldn't see over that massive steering wheel then, but off we went in my imagination with mom in the back seat and dad standing outside talking to the owner. About a year later I think a man by the name of James Cantrell bought it and fixed it up with the intention of driving it back to Memphis and giving it to Elvis. He never did....by the time it was ready to go Elvis had died and it's now on loan to the museum that has the cars Elvis owned on display. If you want to know more about that purple caddy just type in Elvis's purple Cadillac in the search box here on youtube and it'll give you the full story of that car.

Girl, you're so CUTE 🥰💝 and enthusiastic!!! I'm a 71-year-old antique girl, and I saw Elvis in concert one Time. It was the Happiest 2 hours of my life!!! I sat there absolutely mesmerized!!! 👑
without a doubt the best trailer of any movie ever made in the history of movies. sometimes the trailer is better than the movie. not in this case. the trailer does not disappoint the movie is every bit as spectacular and emotional and perfect
This movie is going to be on point, baz went to tupelo mississippi and interview elvis child friend, the interview is on youtube... on the trailer I match elvis real photos moments that baz use on the movie, same clothes elvis use on the 1970 thats the way it was baz use replicas even the drummer has the same shirt, all the jumpsuit are on point, they recreate Graceland just how it was when elvis bought it in the 50s ... austin has elvis walk on point and the way elvis move the hands those things are hard to imitate and austin got it perfect. I've been an elvis fan since 2001 looks like this movie is going to show the new generation who elvis really was I can't wait to see this movie. HAVE A BLESS DAY
I’ve loved him all my life , I’m 62 .. he will always be THE best !! I just seen the movie and it was awesome, left me so sad that he was gone too soon .. your gonna love it . Austin Butler has Elvis spirit in him seriously ! He even still sounds like him when he talks .
That's beautiful! you are the first one that I see using a full screen and not a tinny screen I love it a great reaction also Thank you! Thank you very much!!!👍
Nice reaction! 👍🔥😎. Trailer looks great, Sets and Wardrobe look outstanding, it is going to be epic! Please react to “Bridge Over Troubled Water” as performed by Elvis!
I've been a HUGE Elvis fan for 45 years. Elvis can't be replicated or duplicated. Nobody can mimic him. So that's impossible. Everything other than that looks legit. The costumes, the sets, the comments are truth.
I was fortunate enough to get to see him in concert one with my sweet Mommy. Biggest thrill of my life. It took years because his tickets would sell out in about 5 minutes around here in Tennessee
I think it looks like an amazing portrayal. Baz did a lot of interviews with Elvis’ friends. Austin got Priscilla’s blessing at Graceland. Speaking of Austin, he’s singing the 50s songs and 60s-70s is a mix of Austin and Elvis.
I was told Ronnie McDowell plays Elvis in his latter year's, he's a great Elvis impersonator! I can't wait until this movie comes out! Elvis my man, grew up with his music. He was my mother's most favorite singer of all time! WOW, WOW, WOW!
@@naomiwarner7117 I love Ronnie McDowell, he’s not involved in this film. Ronnie did all the vocals for the Kurt Russell, Don Johnson, Elvis and Me, Elvis series with Michael St. Gerald however ❤️🕺
You are my soul sister!! I'm super-duper stoked for this movie and basically had the same reactions to watching it as you did. When I started listening to Elvis a little over a year ago, I couldn't stop listening to his music, watching his movies, writing freakin' Elvis fanfiction stories about him, and watching all the home videos, music videos and interviews that I could get my hands on. I'm totally down with renting a theater suite and watching this early with all the Elvis fans (since I don't know any Elvis fans in person *sad face*). June is too far away!!! 😭😭
Amanda...I enjoyed your comment very much. I have something that is probably VERY HARD to find...and I think you(loving ALL things Elvis)would truly relish having something very few people have. If it can be mailed in the USA, I will mail it to you... it is the ORIGINAL Memphis-Press Scimitar published here in Memphis on Aug. 18th, 1977 the paper deals with 'all things Elvis' with respect to his career...I've had it in a drawer for 45 years..except for a little paper discoloration it is in excellent condition. there is no charge...what state do you live in? looking forward to your reply. if interested PLEASE reply by 3/31/2022
Hey Amanda! Been a fan for 50 years join us on Elvis Nation UA-cam channel and we also have a livestream on Thursdays with live requests. We have a lot of fun and Brent is a awesome host. Hope to see you there. I love Elvis also been in love since I was 6 I’m 56 now it’s a lifetime thing I know how u feel.
People back in the 50’s, mainly parents, considered his dancing controversy. They thought his dance moves were too sexual and that he was a bad influence to the young generation. They actually told him if he continued to dance like that, they would arrest him. Which is why in the movie he says “ I can’t move, I can’t sing”.
Amen!!! My sister saw Elvis at her high school 🎒🏫 here in Mobile Alabama about 1955 or so, when he was touring the South, going mostly to schools . The principal ran Elvis off after 2 songs, saying he was vulgar trash 🗑️ Anyways, my sister said that Elvis was the most Beautiful ❤️💜 and fabulous person she ever saw. 👑 🎸 🎹
Over the years Elvis has become a cartoon like figure, a caricature, a Las Vegas wedding prop. Elvis impersonators made him that way. They should all be banned. This movie here will undo this injustice. Elvis didn't invent Rock 'n' Roll, nobody did, but it was he who blurred the strickt line between black and white music, the essence of Rock 'n' Roll. He changed the musical and cultural landscape of the time almost overnight with his controversial style that met a lot of resistence. He gave voice to a whole new subculture; Teenagers. Without Elvis breaking down the doors for scores of artists to follow it would probably be very doubtful if we ever had heard from them at all. Without Elvis' national and global breakthrough, of wich he had the guts to do, Rock 'n' Roll would have never become as big as it did. That made him the King of it.
Can’t wait 😜. Absolutely might be one of the greatest movies on Elvis. Hope it does him justice to allow people today to appreciate his talents and learn what a gentle, humble and extremely generous man he was.
Looks good. Bigtime Elvis fan here. I am so old that I remember the day he died. I am silently excited for this. Hey my son was born on August 16'th so ofc he needed a Aron middle name!
Love your reaction ... it's wonderful seeing younger people getting excited about Elvis. My mom got me into Elvis when I was 8 and been a fan every since.. I've done a couple of imitations of Elvis in junior high school..and a music jamboree... his music got me through some tough times... keep up the good work your awesome
Elvis was the very first true Superstar Entertainer , and he is different than pop stars. He performed music for all people, and his music was ageless and timeless. I was ten when he died, and had grown up watching all his movies on pre-cable network TV and as far back as I remember, I listened to his 45rpm records on the Seabreeze record player that my mother had kept from her youth in the 1950's.
Great reaction! I got chills evertime I have watched the preview! So far I have loved this movie 7 times! OSCORS GALLORE FOR ELVIS THE MOVIE IS SENSATIONAL ARTISTIC AWESOME BRILLIANT!
“June?!???!!!!” 🤣 Sameee! PS- you HAVE to react to Elvis singing Unchained Melody live in concert! It is probably the most epic performance I’ve ever seen from him, it was also a month or two before his death, you can tell he was in pretty bad shape and not doing so well but when he sang this song, he poured his soul, he gave it all ..and it might make you tear up 🤷🏻♂️ It is a MUST see 🔥🙏🏼 and your reaction is FUEGO!!!
Joy, thanks 🙏 for your reply 👍 to ELVIS Trailer. I just want to say I can’t stop laughing 😂 at your reaction to the release Date ( JUNE, JUNEY BE JONES 🤣😂 YOU ROCK- God Bless you and your family 🕊& ❤️- 🌹🇬🇧
You are my very favorite! I can't tell you how many times I've watched you react to Elvis with so much joy. You react the same way that I, my mom and my grandmother did. I was in high school when he died. I really enjoyed this movie and hope it brings more young people to this beautiful soul.
I am 68 and a die-hard Elvis fan... I seen an interview with Austin Butler about him playing Elvis... He studied every breath every move every song of Elvis's for like 3 years until he got it. He sang all the songs in the movie except for when Elvis got like two or three years from dying in August of 1977. For that period of Elvis's life they blended Elvis's voice with Austin's at the end. There is video of both Priscilla and Lisa Marie talking about how awesome they thought Austin played the part of Elvis.
I swear the boy that plays Elvis as a kid looks almost like Elvis in the face and eyes. Wow. I love how it starts off with the original recording sound of Suspicious minds. A huge Elvis hit.
So far, I’ve watched it twice and have cried for an hour after. He was a gem that comes along once in history, much less a lifetime. I’ve grown up on Elvis and absorbing all I could about him. For almost 47 years now, I’ve loved him for as long as I can remember. Even before because I have photos to prove it. I’ve seen many, MANY portrayals over the years. None are as good as this. I truly think that only Elvis himself could have done a better job. It’s a beautiful film.
I'll be 60, and I can remember watching Elvis movies on Saturdays. Viva Las Vegas GI Blues Blue Hawaii and Jail House Rock were my favorites. I was 15 when he passed away so young. Elvis was just gorgeous. By now you've already seen the movie. It is OSCAR READY
Great reaction, colonel ruined his life and never let him travel the globe unfortunately😢 His is still the Pop King and ultimate legend❤ Cheers from Russia😊
@Joy- It want really tell me anything new because I am a huge Elvis fan and know everything about him. I still can't wait to see it though. Since you are a new Elvis fan please do me a favor and react to Elvis and the Black community. This is a must because it explains how Elvis first got started growing up poor around black people and also when he first got started in gospel under the Rev Herbert Brewster. Elvis songs to react to would be American Trilogy 1973 Aloha, What now my love 1973, Don't Cry Daddy, Bridge over troubled water
I’ve been a fan for 50 years I think this movie is going to be epic! Elvis is finally going to get a movie that will do him justice and Austin is going to be great.
you qre precious dear girl. You are right on track I was born in 1951 and has 3 older sisters. Elvis was an instant sensation. The 50'a were the best years of rock and roll Pure. Fresh. Simple.
I’m definitely gonna see it several times!!! I’m really happy with Austin playing Elvis No he doesn’t look much like him, but damn, he killed it with his moves and walk !!! I think Tom Hanks is playing the Col a little extra creepy. And it doesn’t look accurate on how they met (a carnival? Really? And riding a Ferris wheel together? Huh?). But visually it looks amazing. Austin will be singing the 50’s songs due to the poor quality of those old tracks. And Elvis will be doing the 60’s and 70’s, with a bit of Austin blended in in some places.
In late 1957 in Canada and then in California, Elvis’s concerts were starting to get out of control. Read about the “Riot” in Vancouver. His popularity was at an all time high and and teenagers were beginning to explore their newfound freedoms in their music. Needless to say, this was not boding well with the establishment, so what could they do? They drafted him! No more chaos at his concerts. He goes into the military, his mother dies, and when his tour of duty is over, he’s a totally different person. I always wonder how different things would be if he hadn’t been drafted. Wonder how this movie will handle that whole situation.
It's not about handling any situation. It's going to capture the essence of who Elvis was better than anything done before. Butler has captured him magnificently. He has the sex appeal the moves. The presence. This movie will win Oscar's.
That film has got Oscar written all over it. It will win 3 Oscars minimum and be nominated for dozens of awards. This real story will make millions of new young fans. Elvis was a YOUTH MOVEMENT more than anything. And that energy turned right into the civil rights movement and changed the world. Austin Butler looks like a young Johnny Depp and he will nab one of those Oscars for sure. This movie just made him a star. I WILL BE IN THE THEATER... no streaming .... on opening night! Bringing the whole family. Driving to a drive in movie theater FOR THE ULTIMATE NOSTALGIA 1st. Then the following week I'll see it in the IN THE highest quality IMAX THEATER we have so I can get the best sound quality experience.

Girl, you're so CUTE 🥰💝 and enthusiastic!!! I'm a 71-year-old antique girl, and I saw Elvis in concert one Time. It was the Happiest 2 hours of my life!!! I sat there absolutely mesmerized!!! 👑
I can’t wait for this film!!!🕺🕺🕺 This looks like 🔥
without a doubt the best trailer of any movie ever made in the history of movies. sometimes the trailer is better than the movie. not in this case. the trailer does not disappoint the movie is every bit as spectacular and emotional and perfect
Looks like an Excellent portrayal to me
This movie trailer is AWESOME SENSATIONAL HISTORICAL epic and ARTISTIC!
Another good reaction - you must be a buzz to be around! Thanks Luv.
Thank you sm! I sure hope I am!😫🙏🏽😂
I LOVE to see young people discover Elvis! It's like when Howard Carter discovered King Tut's tomb.👍❤️⚡
Love it! 👍🏻
That's beautiful! you are the first one that I see using a full screen and not a tinny screen I love it a great reaction also Thank you! Thank you very much!!!👍
So much about him on you tube
Nice reaction! 👍🔥😎. Trailer looks great, Sets and Wardrobe look outstanding, it is going to be epic! Please react to “Bridge Over Troubled Water” as performed by Elvis!
Best version - Bridge Over Troubled Water(New Mix! Great sound!) ua-cam.com/video/mLbOBoa8vD8/v-deo.html 👍
Elvis Presley the King of music,,, Elvis Presley the best singer on artist all times,,, Elvis the voice of God. Kisses from Madrid Spain. I Frank.♥️💋
You were absolutely wonderful to watch!!!! I am excited…. I can’t wait 🍿🍿🍿 xxx
I've been a HUGE Elvis fan for 45 years. Elvis can't be replicated or duplicated. Nobody can mimic him. So that's impossible. Everything other than that looks legit. The costumes, the sets, the comments are truth.
Can't wait to see it.it looks so good.
Joy, Loved you’re Elvis 🕺🏻 reaction , thanks 🙏 for bringing me (JOY) 🤣😂🤣 God Bless you and your family 🕊& ❤️- 🌹🇬🇧
Thank you sm! My goal is accomplished! God bless you too and your fam!❤️
I loved your simply incredible reaction and can't wait for the month of June 😉
Message to France 🇨🇵 Merci
I've seen the movie, it's FANTASTIC!!!!!!!
I got goosebumps first time I saw it I have tears coming out my eyes I'm huge fan elvis since childhood, I love it when I saw elvis moving those hips
I was fortunate enough to get to see him in concert one with my sweet Mommy. Biggest thrill of my life. It took years because his tickets would sell out in about 5 minutes around here in Tennessee
Great trailer AND reaction!⚡
Gerald however ❤️🕺
@@naomiwarner7117 Ronnie McDowell is nowhere in this movie, it was Austin Butler acting throughout!
Love your reaction! I can't wait either!
Looking forward to seeing it. Elvis needs to be experienced by young people.
Nobody could match Elvis Presley nobody. Can’t wait. Canada. Elvis lived a life ten men couldn’t dream of living. Seen Elvis live twice. Awesome
Great reaction ❤️ from South Africa 🇿🇦 👏.
@@qso3566 We'll see
Happy Happy, Joy Joy. Yeah. Peace
Can’t wait 😜. Absolutely might be one of the greatest movies on Elvis. Hope it does him justice to allow people today to appreciate his talents and learn what a gentle, humble and extremely generous man he was.
Elvis immortel 50 ans après la bombe encore la 💥💥💥💖👋👋👋👍🙏🙏🙏
It was so fucking good
YOURE TOOO DAMN CUTE!! AWESOME AWESOME REACTION MY DEAR!! ❤️ 🔥🥂
Love your reaction. I am very excited to see it.
I just have to applaud your setup - the high quality, large trailer in the background - perfect audio - just great.
This means alot! Thank you!❤️🙏🏽
Looks good. Bigtime Elvis fan here. I am so old that I remember the day he died. I am silently excited for this. Hey my son was born on August 16'th so ofc he needed a Aron middle name!
Austin singing and talking, it is like Elvis was back. Since this I have fallen in love with Elvis all over again!❤💋🎸
That trailer looked amazing. I can't wait.
Haven’t been to a movie theater in a decade, but will be there in June! Can’t wait!
Gonna be a great movie!!!!
It’s gonna be an amazing movie.
“June?!???!!!!” 🤣
Sameee!
PS- you HAVE to react to Elvis singing Unchained Melody live in concert! It is probably the most epic performance I’ve ever seen from him, it was also a month or two before his death, you can tell he was in pretty bad shape and not doing so well but when he sang this song, he poured his soul, he gave it all ..and it might make you tear up 🤷🏻♂️ It is a MUST see 🔥🙏🏼
and your reaction is FUEGO!!!
@@qso3566 jesus chill out
@@qso3566 what does that mean? Oh are you using an acronym cause you're too scared to just say what you want.. what a spineless coward😂

You are my very favorite! I can't tell you how many times I've watched you react to Elvis with so much joy. You react the same way that I, my mom and my grandmother did. I was in high school when he died. I really enjoyed this movie and hope it brings more young people to this beautiful soul.
I grew up listening to Elvis. And the movie looks like it's a good one. I will see it. Definitely!
No, no, no...Nothing/nobody could do the King justice; Only Elvis could 💯👍👏
I swear the boy that plays Elvis as a kid looks almost like Elvis in the face and eyes.
Love that you love Elvis. Me, too. Saw it in the theater 10 times! My husband thinks I’m crazy. But, I’m 68 years old and have loved him forever.
Great reaction, colonel ruined his life and never let him travel the globe unfortunately😢
His is still the Pop King and ultimate legend❤
Cheers from Russia😊
looks great
Great reaction! Check out some of the bio's online about his life. A generous soul.
It is going to very good there will be new trailers before June 24 th
*YUP....The biggest musical movie of 2022 is about to hit theaters mid year - ELVIS*
I’ve been a fan for 50 years I think this movie is going to be epic! Elvis is finally going to get a movie that will do him justice and Austin is going to be great.
First time on your channel. You are adorable! I love watching people discover Elvis!
I lived in Memphis I went to Graceland when it opened to the public summer of 1982 . It was beautiful.
you qre precious dear girl.
Col Tom Parker was a carnival barker pre-Elvis.
Best reaction on this trailer! I think Austin is singing himself.
