Cricket Batting Tips - How to Keep the Ball Down

Don't get out by hitting the ball in the air in cricket. Learn to hit the ball along the ground so you can score runs without losing your wicket. Follow this batting tip to improve your ability to hit the ball along the ground.
“Time the ball better” ” Keep it on the ground” “Play it late” are some of the expressions all cricketers hear from coaches and parents when they are batting in the nets or in cricket matches.
Sometimes it is important for a batsmen to feel what it means to play the ball late, as opposed to being told this concept.
In this simple drill the batsmen will get an opportunity to feel what it feels like to play the ball late, thus timing it well, through a simple means of not moving their feet!

Hi, do you have any advice for controlling my bowling length? I haven't played for 6 years and just restarted and I'm struggling with my timing of release....some balls are very short and some are very full or full tosses.
