@@helenfoden well some bowling instructors were teaching Dale Steyn how to bowl in USA they didn't know that it was a human bowling machine they were teaching 😂

Wow...Steyn , Broad 1043 wickets combined...Sangakaara 12,400 test runs at an staggering average of 57.76 alongwith 38 test centuries.....three legends of the game at the same place....
And it feels so good. So much pace through the crease, the big snap at the delivery stride, the Steyn scowl that goes with it - heaps of fun to imitate.
Steyn’s competitive instincts didn’t allow him to abandon around the wicket line even though he was over pitching. He really wanted to get one right and beat the bat atleast once.
Incredible insight from one of the best to ever do it- imagine if Dale Steyn clocked 100+ games. And his comment about not looking at the pitch?? Unbelievable 🤯
Dale Steyn of South Africa 🇿🇦-One of the all-Time Greats of Fast Bowlers-Here's a Question I would like to ask Dale (How do you adapt your Fast Bowling Techniques in Subcontinent Conditions-How did you naturally swing the Ball in those Hot and Dry Cracked Wickets in India,Pakistan,Bangladesh and Sri Lanka?

Jimmy's last 400+ wickets were taken at 21.48. (Since the New Years test at the the SCG in 2011) His overall average is very influenced by how much he, and others messed with his action for the first 5 years of his career. Worried about his "head dip" being too extreme and the damage it would cause to his back/ In the last 12 years he has taken 400+ wickets at 21.48 - The same sort of average as Steyn, Marshall and others. His overall average is very negatively influenced by his first years. He got better as he got older. He had a "Steyn like" career in terms of average after reaching 250 wickets.
This is such a beautiful insert by Sky Sports, if I wasn't in my thirties I'd go to primary school and learn how to bowl 😅 what a technical masterclass by arguably the best seamers of all time
One can’t look away from this riveting viewing. Steyn is so infectious, while the knowledge shared amongst the trio is unmatched. World-class piece featuring world-class humans.
Seeing Kumar and Steyn together reminds me of the few years they played together from 2011 to 2013 for Deccan Chargers, which then became Sunrisers Hyderabad
Steyn is the only overseas pace bowler to take 3 5-fers in Asia in the last 30 years. Mcgrath and Anderson took 1. He is the only bowler to take 7fer in India.
I really needed this! So awesome to hear in detail how these legends go about their work and see them be able to still do it even tho being retired for years
Amazing. Been fan of Masterclass series since they started and this one, Hands down the best masterclass by sky cricket has ever done. 👍👍 Such an educational piece.
Both brill but how good are those drives from Kumar Sangakkara, even after retirement? I was musing why I can't hit the ball like that for my team and then realised it's because I have no talent. Still, have plenty of talent for drinking beer after the match so that kind of makes up for it, or, umm, something.
I didn't ever watch Ashes seriously, but did the last one. Will never forget the drama, the controversy along with Broad getting the audience involved, doing his bails thing, and then retiring. It was one of the best cricket-watching experience of my life. Thank you.
I would put Steyn in Top-5 bowlers of all-time behind Murali, McGrath, Akram... Par with Ambrose, Marshall Jimmy is in top 15 behind above 6 and Waqar, Hadlee, Warne, Donald, Barnes, Garner... Par with Holding, Walsh, Kumble, Kapil Dev, Imran Khan, Pollock, Lillee.... Better than next crop of Broad, Ashwin, Herath, Lyon !
Dale Steyn is one of the two all conditions and formats player in this century. McGrath is other. Anderson was good in 2012 India tour but nothing else in Asia, not so great record in Aus
this clouderson criticism and the narrative that jimmy's terrible in asia is just a blatant lie though... since the start of 2020 he's averaged around 23 in australia, 19 in pakistan, 16 in india, 10 in nz, 10 in SA, and around 8 in SL... crazy numbers in the same time period his *worst* record has been in ENGLAND of all places 🤣🤣🤣 so jimmy for the last 4-5 years at the very least, has not been a flat track bully in fact he's far from it

Jimmy...you are a champion...a nightmare specially to Indian batsmen....but for me in all conditions whether it's in Australia or India or England or SA....Dale Steyn was by far the greatest test bowler who have graced the game of test cricket alongside the absolute legend of Australia and the entire cricket world Glenn McGrath......
Ian Ward is probably the best cricket anchor I have seen. So curious about the game as if he is a young kid learning to play or he is just too good at making everyone believe so.
I want Sean Tait to do a master class in bowling !! Run up and throw it as hard as you can😂. He was awesome.. je would have been phenomenonal in t20 in his prime . I swear he did not know where the ball was going but it was going to fast from the first ball ..
