A lot of people forget about Dorcas she was an evangelist too she was bold and loving taking care of the needy as well making them clothing and she was resurrected God used the apostle Peter as a vessel to do the miracle. Is a very short story and always gets forgets it is in Acts 6!!!!
I’ve been meeting with different sets of elders for over a year. They keep getting transferred. Recently they told me in so many words that I was wasting their time. It broke my heart. I love these people. I just hope I planted TRUTH in their minds, a pebble in their shoe.

Sowing seeds of doubt. So true in sharing with LDS. I had an opportunity last evening with two LDS sisters to share the truth of the Gospel. My heart hurts for these people. Their faith is strong but in the wrong Jesus.
@@saintlysainthood I don’t know you but I assume you’re LDS? If so, Jesus never once said you must work for your salvation. It is a gift from God. Not a result of works. The BoM, with its many contradictions, preaches a different Jesus that didn’t fully cover sin through faith alone. Simply see the 3rd article of faith in the BoM (and many other areas). If you have to work for something, like salvation, it is no longer a gift, but wages you earned. Take a look for yourself. It doesn’t take a PhD to see the differences of the Bible and BoM. I’m not trying to be condescending or rude. I love LDS folks. God bless you.

It says that Christ's sacrifice has gifted us salvation, which doesn't mean that all is done, your good now do whatever you want. @@gonzalo49 Good day! I didn’t say that someone who is truly saved will do whatever they want and keep on sinning (Romans 6:1). Someone who is truly born again in Christ will have the desire to please God (sanctification) with the power of the Holy Spirit, but that “work” does not save us. That work proves that our faith is real. In LDS worldview it is necessary for works to obtain salvation. Keep digging. There’s a lot of proof to my claims.
@@alexandermclaughlin4346 Funny, I've been LDS all my life and I teach faith in Jesus Christ as the necessary component to be saved. I guess I just believe Jesus. I've never been taught nor have I come across anywhere in LDS scripture the concept that you must work for your salvation. In fact, Benjamin taught that if we served him with all of hearts everyday of every hour we would still not merit anything in and of ourselves without Christ. Stop telling me what I and others believe. It's wrong, it's deceptive and most of all wicked.

Latter-day Saints do not believe that human beings will ever be independent of God or to become gods or goddesses, or that we will ever cease to be subordinate to God. We believe that to become as God means to overcome the world through the atonement of Jesus Christ (see 1 John 5:4-5; Revelation 2:7, 11). Our end goal is to reunite with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, that is the end goal. Her grandmother, I assume, is an obedient and faithful member of the Lord's Church, if not, she would not have continued being a member of the Church, and she is able to have such faith that she is still a member at her age, that in itself is remarkable.

It’s “LDS”, it’s an abbreviation of “the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints”. Latter-day Saints is what’s being abbreviated. It’s a church created in the US, and claims to be the only true church of Christ and that the Bible needed to be restored with a lot of new pieces that aren’t in the Bible. There are no works that can clean me up before Gods eyes, he knows my heart. Christ is of no use to those who are justified by the law. His grace isn’t for the righteous. Before Him, there were no gods, neither was there after. He knows not one. So how could he be created by a god and not know them? Does he not create all these other gods with his celestial wives like Mormonism teaches? Or is the Bible lying to us. Pick a side, Joseph’s words or Christ’s words. As a Native American I think it’s disgusting what your church has done to my ppl. HOW DARE YOU SAY WE ORIGINATED IN THE MIDDLE EAST. Who are you to decide where I am from? here is the "ironic" thing. apologetics studio are calvinists. calvinists believe god created all things, and controls all things, predetermined all things, and made all things exactly the way they are. ... thus god also created evil. therefore since calvinists believe god created evil. they are blaspheming against the holy spirit ... the only unforgivable sin. calvinists also believe the only people who will be saved have been predetermined by god. (of course ... they smugly think they are among the "chosen" to be saved without a shred of evidence) and since calvinists believe god predetermined who will be saved ... they have removed free will - the gift of god to humans, and removed jesus from the equation. since god (according to calvinists) has already determined who will be saved ... This guy wastes so much energy demonizing Mormons. We are Christians. We fulfill every requirement to be saved and some. The only way you will ever be certain is to read the Book of Mormon and then follow the guidance of James 1:5. Only the spirit of God can confirm it to you. Not feelings, not reasoning, not the flowery words of a well spoken pastor. Only the spirit. God isn't dead and he wasn't muzzled by the bible. He can and does still speak to us and give us guidance.

Polytheists arent Christians. James in that passage is speaking about wisdom. Does God give wisdom? Absolutely. That passage does NOT mean pray about something and if you feel good about it then its true. That is an absolutely tortured intreptation of that passage that could be used to justify any form of nonsense and heresy. You do not get to determine doctrine outside of scripture, you are not the authority. Wisdom is not some feeling you have, its what you know that is rooted in the word of God. Perhaps you should read a little further into James when he says "you believe God is one and you do well", mormons do not believe God is one.

Why do we have to believe in a twisted gospel that Jeff Durbin preached, when we have the TRUE AND EVERLASTING GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST? Latter-day Saints do not need to be preached for we are saved, we are children of our Heavenly Father, and we belong to Him. Missionary work is not about saving people from hell, and if your purpose in having faith in Christ is to escape from the punishment of hell, then that is not true conversion, my friend. Missionaries are guides that help non-believers know that they are children of God, and the plan that God has for them, and to be able to return to Him. Hell is very much taught by the Church, it is not erased, I don't know where you got your information from, but Hell is reserved for the most wicked and the unrepentant.

It’s “LDS”, it’s an abbreviation of “the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints”. Latter-day Saints is what’s being abbreviated. It’s a church created in the US, and claims to be the only true church of Christ and that the Bible needed to be restored with a lot of new pieces that aren’t in the Bible. Does he not create all these other gods with his celestial wives like Mormonism teaches? Or is the Bible lying to us. Pick a side, Joseph’s words or Christ’s words. And the part you claim that we would have thousands of wives is not a belief or doctrine of the Church, that teaching itself belongs to the Muslims.

The only way you will ever be certain is to read the Book of Mormon and then follow the guidance of James 1:5. Only the spirit of God can confirm it to you. Polytheists arent Christians. James in that passage is speaking about wisdom. Does God give wisdom? Absolutely. That passage does NOT mean pray about something and if you feel good about it then its true. That is an absolutely tortured intreptation of that passage that could be used to justify any form of nonsense and heresy. You do not get to determine doctrine outside of scripture, you are not the authority. Wisdom is not some feeling you have, its what you know that is rooted in the word of God. Perhaps you should read a little further into James when he says "you believe God is one and you do well", mormons do not believe God is one.

The gospel that the Jeff Durbinites are sharing is false and contradicts the Gospel that Jesus Christ had preached, and Latter-day Saints do not need it. Why do we have to believe in a twisted gospel that Jeff Durbin preached, when we have the TRUE AND EVERLASTING GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST? Latter-day Saints do not need to be preached for we are saved, we are children of our Heavenly Father, and we belong to Him. Missionary work is not about saving people from hell, and if your purpose in having faith in Christ is to escape from the punishment of hell, then that is not true conversion, my friend. Missionaries are guides that help non-believers know that they are children of God, and the plan that God has for them, and to be able to return to Him. Hell is very much taught by the Church, it is not erased, I don't know where you got your information from, but Hell is reserved for the most wicked and the unrepentant.
