@@BrunoPOWEEER Hi Bruno electric skate/park scooter 2.8kw motor but clearly not for skatepark to much power haha. 38120s 12s pack and not sure on brake yet lol. Found 30a bms 12s with regen but need 60a.
Hopefully works out something different and crazy. Yes I'll let you know and share when going cheers mate.

With the motor. Can the shaft be milled to fit a specific transmission for ev conversion? ie, using automatic transmission and having the motor slot onto existing transmission shaft.. so both mate together with a custom conversion plate..

Great questions mate!! Okay, machining the motor shaft can be a bit challenging as you have to remove the shaft from the motor (really big and powerful magnets, requires tools) and I heard some cases where people machined the shaft a bit smaller and that monster torque snapped the shaft when the motor was under load. That happens to many different motor, brands, big or small. It can be done but maybe make an adaptor connecting both ends. You still need to make an adaptor plate to attach the electric motor to the gear box.
Gear box is good if your motor isn’t big/powerful enough to power the car in single gear. Ideally get a bigger motor and avoid using a gear box. The problem is that most gearboxes can’t handle that massive torque and start to develop a bit of a play and gets to the point that it’s really annoying. I know MANY conversions where it was fine and after 3-5 years the gear box is sooo bad. Ideally get a gearbox from a V8 engine so it can actually handle the torque without self destroying.

So nice to see the evolution, finaly i thing about the project with two motors for run a train, why two? for playing, for toy it could be two motors but a train it's not a toy. Finaly i thing: one battery one controler, one motor? A second motor with very cheap system for eventualy in extrem conditions run slowly the train to the first check point. I don't no, it's my idea.
Yeaahhh when projecting that electric solar train I was also thinking WHY two identical complete electric drivetrain + battery sets but the client wanted a super reliable solution that would never stop and wanted a practical redundancy system. Otherwise your suggestion about a smaller redundancy system would be my first pick too =]
Thank you for your answer. I do not know how much the synchronization system consumes but probably almost nothing. Also, it is very hot on your continent, if there is enough battery pack with your good temperature control. If that sucks, you have to put the packs in the fridge lol .... I work with a motorcycle project ..., that's why these subjects interest me. I have good ideas, I knew for almost ten years that a gearbox is necessary for electric propulsion and the latest news a world famous car company has made a two speed gearbox. Also, in terms of security, everyone plays with these chemical reactions and these rare earths mixed in cells, the battery compartment and cockpit should be hermetic ...

I know its off-topic for the video but have you seen these small portable spot welders that use a small battery and a positive and neg copper point with a small PCB on top there sold as a DIY or fully built-in an enclosure just wondering if they are any good as I have a Sun 797G which isn't great but does the job just about. Sorry, its off topic but I do watch all your uploads and as you haven't crashed anything or come off anything lately I feel you owe me. SurRon comes to mind.
And no you wouldn't use it with anything here as a build tool.
Yeah I know exactly what spot welder you’re talking about malectrics.eu/ I have one here and sold my older one to the University so the students could learn how to make batteries. It’s a good welder with lots of advanced settings. There are some pros and cons if compare vs Sunkko, I like the Sunkko pen waaay better and the battery drops voltage after hundreds of welds which can be a problem making inconsistent welds (the first ones very strong and the last ones a bit weaker) also stop in the middle of the build to charge batteries can be annoying. Apart from that, if you use a big and powerful battery with the Sunkko pen it’s AWESOME.
Out of all Sunkko welders I tested, I only like and trust the 709AD and 709AD+ , all other ones don’t weld properly (too weak and inefficient) or overheat in the middle of the build ua-cam.com/video/LYGWTbIPTxk/v-deo.html

Yeeeeaahhh I’m sure if I use graphene and quantum technology I will be able to make a car that goes 0-475kmh in maybe less than 5 seconds and 0-100kmh in 0.9 seconds... but even that seems to be quite slow if you consider teletransportation =]
