Absolutely my favorite catfish! They're literally made of cuteness and wiggles! Thank you for sharing your success with these frisky cuties with us! 🙏💙✌️
I'm loving the cinematic, documentary style. Pygmy Cory's are some of my faves to watch. What are the water parameters and Temp in your Cory tank? I've not had any luck with mine yet! You inspired me to set up my own fish breeding room in my garage here in the UK. Wish me luck.
I keep a 3 gal jar of green water. It has a clump of java fern and a few small drift wood pieces. Some pink ram horn snails, shrimp culls also. Lots of micro life.
I just got a dozen C. habrosus and they are some of the most fun to watch fish I have ever had in my aquarium! You now have inspired me to try the same set-up with this other species. Take care and thanks!
I've got six that I've had for about two months now. They seem to be about half grown in about a 28L tank. Looks like I might have something to look forward to. 🙂300K! Way to go, Nick!
These are edited so well! But I love your simpler videos just as much! I’m trying to breed my Hillstream loaches so it would be cool if you did a video on them, but if not then that’s fine too lol. Thanks for the always pumping out great content!
@@dusty8937 I remember watching that one where he set up the tank for Hillstream loaches, but then he could only find Borneo Suckers. Then he was able to get a few local ones because they’re illegal to import to Australia but he just showed putting them in the tank and not really how he bred them. I know he’s shown his baby Hillstream loaches in the vlog for his store, but nothing about his methods or any tips.
Great video. I have C. Hastatus. I love them, they are so cute. They are happy but I doubt I'll see fry in my alkaline (8.0), hard water. Sure would be fun to see a few though.
Great Video again! As an example: My C. pygmaeus, C. hastatus & C. atropersonatus Populations have been maintaining/reproducing wonderfully for over 20 Years now...approx. Every two Years I add a few new Specimens to freshen up the blood. Many greets from Germany
Amazing little Cory's, in my tank they have never hide, they always had a group of 12 red phantom tetra so they were feeling comfortable to swim from the first moment they entered, they always like to swim with the tetras at the middle or they would be at the sand moving those little mouths
Awesome, been waiting on this video for soo long haha. I have found that it is not as easy as you make it look Nick. I have had my pygmy cory's (group of 11) in a breeding setup for almost 3 months now and have had zero breeding activity. I am sure that all of them are sexually mature because I have had them in another tank for around 6 months before placing them in a breeding setup. Could you give some information about your water parameters, feeding and maybe other useful information?
If anyone is watching and you’ve failed at breeding don’t get discouraged. His water in his region is different that yours, and so is the bacteria. Keep trying my friends.
I keep my pygmy Corydoras with least killifish. The least killifish must be eating the Corydoras fry because I have around 100 least killifish and about the same number of Corydoras that I started with years ago. After seeing this video I want to try a tank with pygmy Corydoras by themselves!
they say they're one of the easier ones to breed, mine just won't. I've bred julli's and salt and peppers, but my pygmys just won't. I want my tank swarming with them, they're so cute
Haven’t had any success with these guys unfortunately. This video makes me want to try again in a specific tank maybe in an area with less foot traffic since mine are so easily spooked. I started with 4 a year and a half ago, then soon added another 8, unfortunately I’m down to just three now. I really do suspect it’s the location of the tank that’s stressing them out. All Ive got in with them are cherry shrimp (population is booming)
Maybe one day illl make a tank just for them cuz they don’t populate with other species that’s for sure , and always hide even with tetras only around 😢
I remember the first time I bred fish, I did this and I did that...and they all died. So the next time they bred, my friend said "just do nothing. They will find food." I ended up having multiple generations.
Hi man big fan of your videos, I’m new to the hobby had my tank running 2 weeks now. I have 6 neon tetras and 3 Corys. I hope you can help me out here as no matter what I do I can’t get the clear water it’s still so cloudy! I’ve tested my ammonia and it’s tested 0 and also nitrate test all good. I’ve got a air filter with different directional flows and also a airstone setup at the other side of the tank, I’m doing water changes every other day and my water is still cloudy what would you recommend?
First comment! these are cool and you have bred so many of them, Oh and congratulations on your 300K subs you deserve it 🙂

He did one 3 months ago, ua-cam.com/video/FhkUVJc5Ip4/v-deo.html
He already did one on them 😊

@@silverleaf15 He called them mini stingrays in the title if that helps you find it.
So cool! I have some of these in a community tank but I'm now tempted to move them to their own tank and see if I can do the same.

Love this. What awesome little critters.
These are my favourite catfish. They remind me of bumble bees. I just love watching them school in my tank 😍
how will snails and cherry shrimp affect egg survival rate?
I always love watching this style of video, always well worth the wait
Congrats with 300K subs, so well deserved!
These little guys are so cool 🥺
Love these little guys
Corydoras are so cute
Oh boy I have 10 of them! I had no idea they could spawn like that too!
Great Video again! As an example: My C. pygmaeus, C. hastatus & C. atropersonatus Populations have been maintaining/reproducing wonderfully for over 20 Years now...approx. Every two Years I add a few new Specimens to freshen up the blood. Many greets from Germany

Wow! 300K subs! Congrats! 🎉
Great video!!! Congrats on 300K!!!! 👏👍
One of my favourite fish in the hobby. Out of curiosity I assume you were primarily using rain water for these guys? Or just straight out of the tap?
What a great video Nick! It's an inspiration to get serious about some breeding projects in my tanks
I love pygmy corys. Perfect nano fish
Keep up the amazing work, these mini documentaries are fantastic.
Loving this style of video

Can you make a video on fiah you can passively breed
Hi,any updates on when tiger hillstream loaches and yellow shrimp will be available on the website ?tia
Absolute favorite fish in the hobby, so happy to have them back in my tanks!
You've inspired me to attempt to breed these fish! I've never kept them before but always wanted to
Wow you made this look so easy!
Another Great Video!😀
wow you make it look so easy! how important are the water parameter to be able to accomplish such a feat?
U r the best fish breeding chanal these are the best kind of corie cats
A never-ending supply of pygmy corydoras.
So cute fish
So should I do water changes? Did you choose male and females at the start or random fish? Can you make a video of the start to finish?
Hey mate do you have these on the website? I've been breeding my corydoras would love to try with these guys
Do shrimp eat pygmy eggs?
what did the baby pygmys eat ??
Did you add sand or is that all mulm at the back?
I wish there was more detailed information.
temperature
ph
feeding
time
What do you feed the babies?
I love this fish..
Well done
If anyone is watching and you’ve failed at breeding don’t get discouraged. His water in his region is different that yours, and so is the bacteria. Keep trying my friends.
I want to buy some for my 5 gallon tank. But kinda afraid they would breed and overpopulate

How often do you clean and do water changes in this spawning tank?
what do you feed them?
Is your shop open for customers to walk in and buy stuff?
What do you feed these corydoras?
they say they're one of the easier ones to breed, mine just won't. I've bred julli's and salt and peppers, but my pygmys just won't. I want my tank swarming with them, they're so cute
awesome!!!
How did you get rid of the algae?
i only have 4 and cant seem to get em to breed....
My absolute Highlight this Year was the Offspring of "C 111"...we "aquariotics" are really a bit crazy! But it's fine!😏 anyway!
How big is the aquarium?
is it that easy to breed them?
What is the size of this tank? Would 30x30x30cm cube good for them?

What do you feed them? I want them but just worried I won't have the right foods for their small mouths lol
He said they were fed crushed Bug-buffet. Also the micro fauna in he green water, probably fed the baby fish too.
I remember the first time I bred fish, I did this and I did that...and they all died. So the next time they bred, my friend said "just do nothing. They will find food." I ended up having multiple generations.
Fishes:)
Dude, your stuff is so cool, and you seem to know what you’re doing, can I be your best friend?…
fish keeping
First good vid

Ok please spill water parameters NOWWW
More like keeping fish secret, c'mon bro we need DETAILS! 😅
Some real information regarding water (soft, hard, RO modified????) and temperatures would have been helpful.
Look it up
I mean it’s not a tutorial
If they are living in the water that’s a good start lmao
Doesn’t really matter tbh. Just gotta be grown out enough
Ive watched a lot of videos with lots of numbers and tests and no babies. Nick just chucked in some rocks and a mop and instantly had 100s of babies😂
