Not a banker or other highroller, I was a 32year front line fireman. I wore one of these for my last 10yrs. It endured tons of potential abuse and still survived with flying colors. I simply wanted an automatic. Didn't realize how close it was to a submariner until I saw it in a Rolex ad in a magazine. I get compliments all the time. Most people are surprised it's not a Rolex. Lol I'm a fireman, I have kids and other priorities. Some even recognized it as an invicta right off. So proudly I couldn't give a crap it's NOT a Rolex. I bought mine from invicta on sale for less than $60. Lol and they wanted to let me pay it out in 4 easy payments. Still looks great and runs great. Abuse usually resulted in broken pins ($6).
Interesting to read your comment. I’ve seen a NYFD documentation on TV here in Europe. I think if I would really be in deep trouble I would hope for them rescuing me. Impressive. All the best.
Mine is virtually indestructible. Use it everyday, doing yard work, swimming, hiking. Still like new. Many people think they are a Rolex. I tell them it’s an Invicta. Good watches
Just bought my first Invicta watch (pro diver) after seeing many positive revues. So far it keeps great time and is a great looking watch. I own an 11 year old Rolex Submariner two tone (blue dial)!and just didn’t want to wear it every day, not to mention the times we live in now. I have several other watches but this one is fast becoming my favorite… so far I love it!
I purchased one a couple of weeks ago for a beater watch, I lucked in to one for about 55 dollars. It's keeping really good time for an automatic. It looks great and I can wear it doing just about anything. As for homage watch that's cool, it's not a copy and they have their own touches. They have the Invicta name engraved on the side, the name on the front, on the crown, and their own design on the second hand, but it doesn't come off as gaudy. I think they're just proud to make an affordable watch with good quality. It's impressive in this price range. I used to think Invicta just made large tasteless watches that didn't keep time. I was at least partially wrong; they do keep time and they have many choices. I may buy another one..
Bought mine as a work beater and fell in love with it so it’s no longer a work beater. More of a time off work beater I guess. Looks great with a nato strap. 👍
I’ve had this watch for 4months and it’s my favourite watch. It’s really tough and keeps really good time. I’ve dropped it, I’ve been in fights with it, I’ve fallen over with it, chopped wood with it and more. It is really a great watch!
I have the submariner version Invicta came out with back in 96, which was an homage to a 60's sub. It is still working fine, and I have had no issues with it at all, it has a Miyota 8215 movement and for a 24-year-old watch, it keeps decent time. The only repair I had to do was the crown because it did not have a larger crown like the version you have which came towards the late '90s. I think Invicta gets a bad rap due to the way they advertise, plus all of the extremely large versions of watches that seem not to have an ending. The submariner line is their better version line, although I have seen a "maxi" case now with 42 mm versions and 22 mm lug width. I think sometimes that Invicta wanted to be the modern version of what Timex was back in the day, but with more flair. Anyway nice vid, and keep that Pro Diver going strong!
I purchased my Invicta Men's 8926 Pro Diver on June 18, 2018. I smashed the crystal about 3 months after I purchased it and replace it myself for about $7. I've enjoyed this watch more than any other I've owned in my 74 years. It feels great and looks great. I've never had anyone say they thought it was a Rolex. In fact, very few people even care about watches these days. Most people just buy whatever looks and feels good. Brand name and all that has become meaningless. Watch wearers today want comfort and functionality. The ego thing impresses few these days.
Mike I actually own the Invicta 9937 which is the same watch but much upgraded with a nicer case , a sapphire crystal, and much better bracelet and clasp . I’ve owned the watch since 2005 and it’s in mint condition and runs great and keeps perfect time as well. Invicta does actually make good watches but definitely in the pro diver line with there automatic and Swiss automatic watches .
I have three Invictas and I am sold on them. Very nice looking and very accurate and most of all inexpensive. I do love Seiko but this is like getting a Seiko at half price or less.
I agree 100% I've had three of them and I work construction and house painter I use them as my everyday beater watch and these things have taken a licking and keep on ticking. They have been subject to incredible abuse and I wear them day and night and beside if I ever got held up while I'm in the city I'd rather lose $100 watch then a $10,000 watch
I've been collecting watches since 1969 when I was a 19 year old kid. My first watch was an Omega Speedmaster Pro, that I bought on Layaway at a local jeweler. I was Crazy about Space Travel, and when I found out what watch Neil Armstrong was wearing, I ordered mine. Back then it cost me a little less then 400.00. I could have bought a Rolex Sub for about 100 dollars LESS, at 298.00 for Stainless steel. I've had a ton of Invicta's through the years, and only had ONE die out of that bunch, and it had a cheap Swiss Rhonda quartz movement in it. I currently own 2 versions of this watch, This one, and the model with the SW200 in it. I don't care if it's a Rolex homage or not, it's a Great looking watch, it's inexpensive and it's dang near unbreakable....Great Revue, and I agree 100% with it....

I have never understood the often visceral response people have to this Invicta model. As you pointed out, it simply works and will for a long time at a very reasonable price. I have one with the older Miyota movement and a couple of their Daytona's. I have never had an issue with an Invictus watch, expect one, which was repaired by Invicta without issue. I guess it is what you want it to be. I only wish the face of the watch was simply branded with the company name in print and the wings on the second hand would fly away.
I just bought the 8927ob Invicta pro diver. I'm hearing some people don't like these watches. I'm not getting it well at least with my experience. I set mine to match my phone time. It's been almost 24 hrs so I checked it up against the atomic clock app and I have to say it hasn't missed a beat. Right to the second. I'm very impressed to say the least and I love the look as well. This is just one man's opinion. 🙂

I own several Invicta watches, they have never let me down, nh35 movement typically losing only about 2 seconds per day, that's Swiss level accuracy, look great, durable and affordable to the point you can pick out a couple you like if'n you want to. I have this exact model and the also the 42mm version of this on the Jubilee bracelet, both have stood the test of time, get it, haha, I'm sure the biggest problem with these watches are user error, like if your watch sits along time the o rings dry out over time, mine purchased from Amazon was the 2011 model only got it a year ago, how long was it on the shelf prior, if they are not lubricated it may leak, crowns not threaded down properly if at all or cross threaded, then people say they suck, take proper care of your watch and It will keep proper time for you. Nice video...
Got my pro diver during the prime day event on Amazon for $55. It's my first mechanical watch and wanted something cheap to test the waters. So far I love it. It keeps amazing time and looks great.
I've been watching vids on this watch and I'm sold. Classic look of a Sub, on a durable 200m watch for less than $100. Only thing I'd like to see is a sapphire crystal instead of mineral glass
My Pro Diver is by FAR my favourite watch of all time. The time keeping is super accurate...in a sense. I have noticed that if I wear it a LOT (and exericse with it) it'll run a few seconds fast. If I leave it for half a day on the shelf, it'll lose a few seconds. Over the long haul, it works out to nearly PERFECT TIME keeping. For example, the last time I zeroed it out against the internet's atomic clock, was Wednesday morning, of LAST week. Now, it's about 5 seconds fast. 5 seconds over 10 days? How could I complain?? And yeah, it gets mistaken for a Rolex all the time. haha
I tend to lean towards a g shock for a beater or my Seiko turtle and marathon tsar BUT for $70 it’s hard to think how one could go wrong on this watch. It may be worth a full review on your end ?
I think you got more than your money's worth out of this watch. I have owned an invicta watch. It was a long time ago. It was a quartz stainless steel watch. I wore it to work for about 6 years before it died. I enjoyed it. It wasn't expensive. If you like this watch why not? No one really cares what you wear on your wrist except you. Buy what you want and enjoy it.
I have a Timex quartz Submariner homage watch that is 20 years old. I've changed batteries 3 times. It looks beat up (especially the bezel); but still works fine.
I love Invictas The Automatic mvts are Seiko mvts so yes, what you said is interesting! I received a 1953 from Invicta stores brand new for Sixty dollars but the vendors service are one click above Horrible I hope they improve soon!
I’m saving up for my first Rolex. I bought an invicta submariner to sport until I get one but now I kinda love my invicta. I want to replace the dial and crown and I think the watch should be perfect for at least my lifetime.
Pro divers defo a good watch..although i have the qaurtz version, it has lasted me years always receives comments of how nice it looks . Qaurtz version also very accurate on time keeping... so defo big pro diver fan from scotland
i'm learning that two great watches invicta-17045-vs-8928ob....one is 18K made in China and the other is 23K made in Malaysia.I think its a little better deal than the 42mm, Gold (36552) I bought 3 weeks ago.The 8928ob is NH35A Japanese Automatic movement and 40mm going for $79
I hav a few Invicta watches, just because some don’t like large watches don’t meant they don’t make some good peace’s ,just purchased a 42 mm pro diver ,all because my 40 mm after about 15 years,it got closed up in the hood of a car,it was a sad day ..
As much as I dislike mechs at all, I must admit one thing: NH35A **can** be adjusted to get the accuracy better than that Sub, even on par with some quartz movements, and it doesn't require lab conditions to do so. Maybe that's something that gets those folks mad: getting a Rolex-lookalike that can actually perform the main function of the watch better than the original design that's 100+ times more expensive. If one day I get crazy enough to get another mech, it would definitely be something on NH35A, maybe even this one.
Two weeks ago I bought a brand new Invicta pro diver 23678 which is the same as yours except it has the rubber strap. I’d really like to know how your accuracy has been, has it gotten slower has it gotten faster. I don’t think mine is broken in yet after two weeks but I’m about -2 seconds a day and if I lay it flat on a table it seems to gain it back overnight
Well take me time to choose wacth good quality and good price that’s indictable I got my one coming from America in tag said 700 dollars retail price my is extra special blue and gold I just loving everything thanks men for you positive review for the price you can not get wrong back in the days I used to own Rolex omega constellation and longings here in London but my collection was stolen from my house any way I’m happy now 😅
It's a decent watch, and they actually have a great history in horology. It's not for me, because of the branding on the sides and I feel like the dial is a bit too crowded (same as the Submariner..too crowded). Overall though it's a great value for about $80.
This same model watch used is for sale online for $55. From what I can tell it has a few minor dings on the bezel and a few small marks here and there. The problem I have with paying $55 is that a new bezel for it is probably around $30 so I'm not sure. I'm thinking of offering him $40, that might be a decent price. I can get a brand new one for $78 on Ebay.

Nice arch mines as old as yours no problems with it use it every day.get it serviced by Invicta in Holland I'm not a snob would never buy a Rolex mine would always be a omega!!!!!
Have heard from TV announcer that the CEO of Invicta has said something akin to "a watch should not cost a lot." Have several Invictas from 2000's. The early ones, gen 1 (?), are well built with servicible movements. But the recent 2020+ models are, for me, too extreme in designs. Have heard of QC problems that deface the brand, a shame resulting in poor values.
My local jeweler won't replace batteries on Invictus they claim it breaks their tools . I bought a simple watch case remover kit on Amazon for 10 bucks and it took it off flawlessly.
I'm just over a Year in with the 9937ob Pro-Diver, has the sellita sw200-1 movement, upgraded case, bracelet and crystal too..oh..different colour lume too I absolutely adore this watch..it fixes my issues with the 'standard' seiko powered Pro-D's, milled clasp and fully solid chunkier links on bracelet, thinner depth case at 12mm, synthetic sapphire, I've got a ceramic batman bezel insert for it and proper sapphire crystal to pop onto it soon, for the cost?.. $170 it's a proper bargain tbh.
Abir Chaudhuri Just bought the Kamasu this week for $200. I’d be thrilled if it hit 7 years with no issues. (I read in one comment that someone has had the Invicta pro diver for 15 years with no issues. Not bad for a $90 automatic).
@ Fernando Garcia Bernal. The cost of this watch is so low you wouldn't pay for it to be serviced. Use it until it breaks & then either buy a new watch or a new replacement movement. It should last for many years though. I've seen plenty of 10 year reviews. Showing its likely to last for many many years.
I don't think a watch that lasts over a decade is a "disposable" watch, that title is reserved for cheap plastic junk (and overpriced fashion-watches junk). I have a gold pro diver and see no reason it can last essentially forever if care is taken. A DW is a disposable watch, the pro diver certainly is not.
The only reason it won't last 'forever' like a more expensive watch is the fact that it uses an inexpensive movement that costs less to replace than to service. Some argue that it makes more sense to just buy a new watch rather than replace the movement when it wears out, but I disagree. I'd rather keep the same watch and replace just the movement, so you get to keep the character that the watch has developed over the years. Having said that, I have had a pro diver since 2002, and it is still fine.
The term "beater"... Is so over used an nonsense. Everyone has to copy an cannot have a mind of their own. A watch price does not define if a watch is a "beater" or not. I have a orient.... Its a Gem...... For 300 dollars. Ive had a bunch of orients. They are built very highly. But only own 2 orients now. As my only 2 watches. Like you said: plastic an fashion watches are junk...........
I just got one if it wasn't fifty bucks I would definitely pick a steeldive, at least it's a true diver and sticks to the 1953 rolex much better, the glass back is not even capable of 200 m.i really want to change it out but twenty more dollars just isn't worth it
As far as a dive watch, any and all dive watches are based off the Submariner so toss the whole "snobbery " aside. I'm not dropping $8-10k for a watch. Hell, I'm not dropping $1k when I can buy a well made good looking watch for under $100. I own the stainless / black version and the bluesy version. They're accurate and good looking, every bit as good as my Seikos. These are my daily wear but if I need to wear something while doing strenuous activities, I wear my $15 Casio. Why beat up a nice looking watch? If one is really concerned, get a G Shock, they will hold up to extremes.
Homage issue? It's isn't as tho' it's just Invicta who make homage watches, and no one would make them if they weren't popular and sell. I suspect that the small percentage who voted "no" to homages in your survey are all particularly opinionated horologists. Well guess what, nobody cares what they think. Invicta make a great many watches, a very few that I like, some that are ok but not something that I'd wear, and some that I consider rather crass, but that's just my opinion and taste it shouldn't be of consequence to anyone else. I'm definitely not a watch guy, I don't know much about watches or the folks that make them, but the ones I do like always seem to be Rolex homages (excluding the odd design by Bering) I rather like the model shown but quite by accident I discovered that Invicta make a very similar looking but higher quality model with a very decent Swiss movement, the 99370/B powered by Sellita's SW200 (equivalent to the ubiquitous ETA 2824) Both these watches provide a very competent movement in a case design which obviously sells like hotcakes, for an extremely low price. This is the main reason I suspect that watch snobs like to have on Invicta, they just spent two or three times as much on their micro brand watch which is desperately trying not to look like a Rolex or whatever and it's got the same NH-35A or ETA 2824 powering it, and let's face it Rolex nailed it with the Submariner design. The 31290 is also a very nice looking watch by Invicta, I loved when I first saw it and thought at last one that isn't a Submariner homage. Little did I know. Still, I think that hits the nail on the head, many people who buy these watches don't know or care if they're homages to whatever, they see them and are pleased with the price, it really is that simple.... Great video, highlighting a tough little watch.
good evening, today I bought a watch Invicta 8926OB it very nice watch, I immediately wanted to wear it. And I started to adjust it, I immediately read the instructions, and did not immediately understand something and tried to wind the clock spring all the way , but I didn't feel the stop, And I realized that something was wrong and read the instructions again, and realized that it was necessary to turn it only until the moment that the watch started working, when I opened the box of the watch, it was already working. Am I worried if I broke the watch?(the watch works well, I just wonder if it is possible to twist it like in a simple mechanical watch without self-winding), 2 questions, the instructions do not indicate how to set the date, namely in which direction turn the winding part, and I turned it clockwise and not counter-clockwise, several times and I wonder if this also affected the mechanism?
and one more thing: I changed the date once at eleven in the evening, the instructions say that from 8 yesterday to 4 in the morning, you should avoid changing the date, it may somehow affect the mechanism if I changed the date at that time

And yeah, it gets mistaken for a Rolex all the time. haha
The close up shots of years of wear and tear I have to say its not bad and still keeps time nice , fuck it im ordering one .
From the reviews. I ordered one for work. Not a big expense
I tend to lean towards a g shock for a beater or my Seiko turtle and marathon tsar BUT for $70 it’s hard to think how one could go wrong on this watch. It may be worth a full review on your end ?
Possibly! Thanks for the comment!
Great value. I bought a Pepsi.. 42 mm .. Lovely watch. I'm surprised about the accuracy of the NH35A. I way in the COSC specs.
I bought one great value looks great hard to beat
I have one is a great watch ! Love the video 👍🏽
Love these watches
I think you got more than your money's worth out of this watch. I have owned an invicta watch. It was a long time ago. It was a quartz stainless steel watch. I wore it to work for about 6 years before it died. I enjoyed it. It wasn't expensive. If you like this watch why not? No one really cares what you wear on your wrist except you. Buy what you want and enjoy it.
Nice I’ve only had one watch 7 years and that’s a quartz
I have a Timex quartz Submariner homage watch that is 20 years old. I've changed batteries 3 times. It looks beat up (especially the bezel); but still works fine.
Great and honest video! Based on this and others I'm now waiting for mine to arrive.
Does the luminous dot on the bezel resists through the years or fall off from the bezel leaving a hole? Thanks
Pro divers defo a good watch..although i have the qaurtz version, it has lasted me years always receives comments of how nice it looks . Qaurtz version also very accurate on time keeping... so defo big pro diver fan from scotland
i'm learning that two great watches invicta-17045-vs-8928ob....one is 18K made in China and the other is 23K made in Malaysia.I think its a little better deal than the 42mm, Gold (36552) I bought 3 weeks ago.The 8928ob is NH35A Japanese Automatic movement and 40mm going for $79
What is the lug to lug and the case size?
I hav a few Invicta watches, just because some don’t like large watches don’t meant they don’t make some good peace’s ,just purchased a 42 mm pro diver ,all because my 40 mm after about 15 years,it got closed up in the hood of a car,it was a sad day ..
I have the 9937. Very similar but with a Swiss Movement. The only thing that I hate is that it doesn't say Swiss under the 6 mark.
@Riki P. it is. It says in the back. Invicta said they change that on all products after 2016
@Mrs. Riki I have the 6330 GMT with Ronda 515 movement - says Swiss made on the back.
Its an awesome watch, I too have it Doesn't look less than a Rolex. I also have reviewed an Invicta watch
I may buy this watch now. Thank you!
Well take me time to choose wacth good quality and good price that’s indictable I got my one coming from America in tag said 700 dollars retail price my is extra special blue and gold I just loving everything thanks men for you positive review for the price you can not get wrong back in the days I used to own Rolex omega constellation and longings here in London but my collection was stolen from my house any way I’m happy now 😅
Great watch great price great look 👌
It's a decent watch, and they actually have a great history in horology. It's not for me, because of the branding on the sides and I feel like the dial is a bit too crowded (same as the Submariner..too crowded). Overall though it's a great value for about $80.
Bought one today hope it as good!
Hope you enjoy it!
Have you had any repairs done since you got it, or have u not had it repaired at all since then?
Hi, no repairs and it's still running great!
Thank you!
There is nothing wrong with these watches. I had a pro diver and beat the Hell out of it. Great bang for the buck.
Hope you bught the new one
@@tarot_imago I haven't bought anything yet, still trying to learn what I can about the good & bad.

Nice arch mines as old as yours no problems with it use it every day.get it serviced by Invicta in Holland I'm not a snob would never buy a Rolex mine would always be a omega!!!!!
Thank you.
I have a Grand diver and a pro diver both running at +1 per day
My 5 day power reserve chronometer is +1.5?
I've had my pro diver for 2.5years now. Made my other watches redundant.
I will consider this in the future
Have heard from TV announcer that the CEO of Invicta has said something akin to "a watch should not cost a lot." Have several Invictas from 2000's. The early ones, gen 1 (?), are well built with servicible movements. But the recent 2020+ models are, for me, too extreme in designs. Have heard of QC problems that deface the brand, a shame resulting in poor values.
When this model first come out?
My local jeweler won't replace batteries on Invictus they claim it breaks their tools . I bought a simple watch case remover kit on Amazon for 10 bucks and it took it off flawlessly.
Surely a watch fixer can do it?
no batteries on this one
I'm just over a Year in with the 9937ob Pro-Diver, has the sellita sw200-1 movement, upgraded case, bracelet and crystal too..oh..different colour lume too
I absolutely adore this watch..it fixes my issues with the 'standard' seiko powered Pro-D's, milled clasp and fully solid chunkier links on bracelet, thinner depth case at 12mm, synthetic sapphire, I've got a ceramic batman bezel insert for it and proper sapphire crystal to pop onto it soon, for the cost?.. $170 it's a proper bargain tbh.
I got a invicta pro diver and it keeps better time than my omega
My watch.
How would this compare to an Orient Kamasu?
Abir Chaudhuri I haven’t seen the Orient in person, so I couldn’t say. I’ve heard good things though!
Abir Chaudhuri Just bought the Kamasu this week for $200. I’d be thrilled if it hit 7 years with no issues. (I read in one comment that someone has had the Invicta pro diver for 15 years with no issues. Not bad for a $90 automatic).
I just got this watch on prime day for 35 dollars!
¿Why are some invicta from that same reference dont say under part japanese movent ?
IDK
I’m new to automatic watches does anyone here know the ownership costs of an automatic watch such as this one (maintainence costs).
Yes.
Show 👏 👏👏
I just got one if it wasn't fifty bucks I would definitely pick a steeldive, at least it's a true diver and sticks to the 1953 rolex much better, the glass back is not even capable of 200 m.i really want to change it out but twenty more dollars just isn't worth it
As far as a dive watch, any and all dive watches are based off the Submariner so toss the whole "snobbery " aside.
Invicta made a similar design in 1950
Obviously, it is not a disposable watch!
Hahah you can see it is old, bc the inside has not got the yellow branding..
just buy and receive a new one...thanks
Cheapest way to have steeve mcqueen and james bond submariner

good evening, today I bought a watch Invicta 8926OB it very nice watch, I immediately wanted to wear it.
