Hi! I'm not a woodworker but i wanted to build a secret compartment to put some objects close to my home office.
I love my IKEA drawer units and i knew that one of the units would be ideal for some hidden / secret compartment.
This video shows you how to make one for you too and the best part is that you can apply this idea to any drawer unit, even if it isn't from IKEA.

Hi! ❤️ Could you please include the dimensions of this little drawer and the dimensions of the runners? Unfortunately, the video does not show what length of wooden slats and guides you use, and this information could be very useful.

Hi Camilla. Thank you for your comment. You right i should have done the video with dimensions. Drawer dimensions: 39,5 cm x 30,5 cm x 3 cm (with bottom).
Runners dimensions: 25 cm

Could you please explain; did you cut the sides for the drawer, or did you buy them?
Hi there! i bought the sides. basically, what it is, is a pressed cardboard frame that i bought and cutted in for pieces to the drawer size.
