My favorite part of this makeover would have to be the desk. It provides the user the space it needs to keep the area clean and productive. Also those speakers they are so clean yet stand out. Great video!
I love how you give reasons before telling what the product is so that the viewers can understand why you chose it when compared to other alternatives, also you helping them and recommending them stuff which has made creators like you efficient is always a good thing mate, keep doing this series, loads of respect and love.
„Workspace“ My favourite part and what essentially distinguishes this setup from any regular desk with gear has to be the composition: a "perfect" setup is more than just the sum of its parts, those merely lay the foundation for a setup to have the potential to be great. Every bit of gear needs to have a purpose to it, be it of functional, emotional or aesthetic use. What you have done goes beyond just that. It is original, the products draw a connection to Linus' personality and the needs he has and you haven't just gone and bought the most expensive products to make this setup look impressive. The effort you have put into the little details, placing Alexa in the perfectly sized area within the lamps' stand, wrapping the drawers or even colour coordinating the orange chair to the escape key on the keyboard (the grey of which also matches the theme of the wall, the lamp and even the screws and the pegboard) and that to the print behind the lamp, with each of the orange accents diverging towards the upper left of the room, is truly remarkable. You have composed and put this setup together in such a way that it is ready to be the perfect desk setup for your friend. That's what makes it special and that's why your composition and design of the setup are my favourite part. I've been watching your setups since your 20k special back when I was 13 years old and it's been inspirational to be able to see how much you've grown and developed over the years. You've been a source of motivation to me ever since. Keep up the good work man, you should probably consider making a living off this ;)
My favourite is parts got to be the monitor adjustability looks mad! the chair also brings the whole setup together with the pop of orange! Awesome vid again man keep it up!
My favourite part is minimalistic clean look that helps to accentuate each individual component from the monitor to even the small lamps. Its a really clean design has exemplary unity and proportion. If I had to choose a specific component, it would have to be speakers as it is simplistic which is very satisfying to look at. Keep up the good work! Stay safe!
Favorite part of the setup is that you considered what he wants his set up to look like. The look suits his personality and needs. Hope you can do more videos like these. Keep it up!
the finishing touches that pull the whole look together make the biggest difference 😍 the desktop background, the wall art, and pop of colour with the chair are amazing 🔥 great makeover!
Justin: "we're looking at a setup from a room that had quite a bit of stuff around it and we kind of cleared it out" Me: looks at my bed and other stuff. Bed and stuff: sweats nervously Loved the monitor and color contrast of the setup. "workspace"
I love how you play with the colors. The chair, keyboard and the picture on the wall have orange color that make your desk set up even better and nicer. great job!
Loved the grey color and the monitor is straight out of my wishlist as I am an animator and a visual designer. So, having a monitor that displays good colors and also has a rotating arm always seemed essential for creators.
So clean! And I really like the direction you went with a interview style with the guest instead of the vlog style, this really brought back the Tse clean film look :)
Honestly, best part of this setup hands down is that monitor. The size is just right that you wont need a second monitor and that stand is so damn clean!
The best part of the makeover is the gray wall. (obvious) looks minimal, and the kanto yu2 speakers look really clean and a bit retro. Hope to win it! Love from Nepal!
The keyboard and Desk colour complement each other in my opinion. That little orange escape key has such a nice accent to it! I know it's super minor but I just find it aesthetically pleasing to me.
The LG Ergo Monitor looks good especially that monitor arm, it feels premium! And I agree about putting those things on the wall, the setup looks better with more dimension. Good job.
My favourite part of the makeover is actually the whole setup, you can't just choose one thing, the whole setup is amazing, and everything fits so nice, also it's super sleek and I'm really digging it
my favourite part of the makeover is when you use the dark colour painting to match it with a sweet wooden desk, the wall deco is something else! plus the keychron suits perfectly with the theme.
@Justin Tse looks fantastic brotha, I can tell you’re getting better with each desk set up and you have a great eye for simple, functional, and sleek design. What clock desktop wallpaper app did you use for the thumbnail? I’d love to use it.
Your videos are absolutely stunning the simplicity and sharpeners of your videos are so aesthetically pleasing to watch and keep up the good work man my favorite things from this video are either the monitor or the speakers I’ve been needing a Monitor because I’m saving up for a MacBook Pro so that I can work on video editing as well
I’ve done the IKEA countertops with Alex drawers a couple of times, and it’s a good solution for the price, but...I wish the countertops were a few inches deeper.
From an aesthetic point of view I’d say my favorite part is the chair because it brings the room together and matches other accents. The monitor is great as well, not only because of the quality, but how clean it looks (with the cable management it has).
The desk with the alex drawers is simplistic and sleek, the grey theme still popped. The Yu2 speakers were dope, but the monitor was clutch with the stand attachment which would be great for me for video editing and music production.
I am already on to setting up my monitor like this. But for me the best parts are the Alex drawers and the tabletop. They are so much better than a regular computer desk, offering much better storage with a cleaner symmetrical look. Love to get those drawers and the tabletop.
My favorite part was when you guys painted the wall in dark grey and matched it with objects that are color white and have a wooden design. This overall gave it a minimalistic and aesthetic look. Very original and creative! ❤️
Favorite part of the set up is the monitor and speakers, honestly everything it’s such a clean set up definitely looking at doing something like this. 👀
First time visitor ... I like your approach with eye friendly vertical asymmetry (peg board, artwork, etc.) against a pleasing matte grey wall. Horizontal layout is clean and uncluttered. The monitor is perfect and my choice!! Love the desk top choice from Ikea as the butcher block thickness gives a sense of stability and work bench feel. However, I would go with the walnut color option with black/brown cabinets as the two colors provide a peaceful yet masculine aesthetic. Additionally, I would use the full 74" length of the tabletop as the two cabinets will occupy 28" of the total surface width leaving a good 46" of chair space. I think 5 good sized silicone pads (each corner plus center) would provide enough grippy surface area for each cabinet to keep the 67 lb tabletop from shifting. Since I can't paint my rental space, I would opt for a large picture art (say 55" x 39") photograph scene (black and white) of Amsterdam or some other place of your choice that envelops you ... if you feel your blood pressure and stress level dropping, then THAT'S the perfect piece of art. Justin, overall, I like your choices; they work beautifully together and at very reasonable budget. I priced everything you recommended and with my replacement wall art choice the total came in around $1k USD with taxes.
I’ve been on the mission of trying to build a desk setup of my own but the only thing missing was finding an aesthetic yet practical monitor, until now. Cheers for the recommendation!
Definitely loving the monitor, been looking to invest for the desk setup especially with being at the desk most of the days now with everything that’s been going on. Always love the production!
Your desk set up is 0 to a 100. Just looking at the new set up makes you want to be productive and get on with work, i like how minimal yet you have everything you need on it and the wood looks very clean and pretty luxury 👍😀

What paint brand is that and what is the color name or number? And great video✊🏽
Honestly so refreshing to see a young person with so much drive! Well done! My favourite part is by far the matebook👍🏻
My favorite part is the monitor. I’m not much of a gamer but I really appreciate good colours for productivity and videos.
Benjamin Moore Gray
These "before makeover" desks are already nicer than my "after makeover" desk.
I don't have any
@kishan prakash tf shut the f up and go away you’re so toxic
i was gonna say, that desk ALREADY looks better than my shithole
@Kal El We get it, Haha you're trying to be funny, get out
Luckyyyy😭😭I share a room with my bro and I don't have a deskkk😭

When he said “Linus” I was like, “jeez, ANOTHER LTT channel???”
Same
I thought it was Linus with some prosthetic to prank us and all.
i grew up in the same hometown as linus from LTT (that's my desk in the video :)
@@linuswong9788 and where is that, Vancouver?
I really love the way that gray color bring out the contrast with all the other elements of the setup and it’s very well balanced as well !

My favorite part of the makeover is how the gray wall just went well with the gray theme. Love it. Minimal yet, versatile.
do u know the color name?
@@olav12345 the name is grey by benjamin moor

Lifestyle and technology combined. I really love how it turned out. Sending love from the Philippines.

"First things first we remove the bed because who needs sleep amiright"
Thats what I thought during the intro but then they said it was a guest bed.
the finishing touches that pull the whole look together make the biggest difference 😍 the desktop background, the wall art, and pop of colour with the chair are amazing 🔥 great makeover!
“Workspace” This makeover is so simple and elegant. I love those speakers the most!
Loved the vibe of the workplace.. its the wall that made the huge difference. Great color tone.
Justin: "we're looking at a setup from a room that had quite a bit of stuff around it and we kind of cleared it out"
Me: looks at my bed and other stuff.
Bed and stuff: sweats nervously
Loved the monitor and color contrast of the setup. "workspace"
I love colour scheme here. The way the desk contrasts the grey wall and black/white equipment on the desk. It makes the whole setup really pop
"workspace"
love how all the colours go really well together, great job!
I love how you play with the colors. The chair, keyboard and the picture on the wall have orange color that make your desk set up even better and nicer. great job!
I love the aesthetic and the contrast between the gray, the white, and the wood. I actually love the monitor and speakers the best out of the tech.
As a swede I really appreciate the use of ikea furnitures and other ikea products, thanks for one more great desk makeover.
your country is the rape capital right behind south africa. Thanks to immigration. Well done!
That is quite the upgrade. Definitely, the monitor and the overall vibe and decorations of the setup make it a lot more pleasing.
Workspace! Love the overall "dark" theme. Your setups/makeovers are always so cleeaaan bro! The minimalist approach to this is so sick
Wow!!! Really liked the symmetry and the palette here. Aesthetic and gorgeous as always.
Favourite part was the monitor being able to hide the cables in the stand is perfect
I love the adjustable monitor that's attached to the desk... saves so much room this way!!
“Workspace”, love the monitor justin, it will be great for high school.😀

When I first saw the thumbnail, I thought this was Matthew Encina's. Good to know you acknowledged where the inspiration came from.
The best part of the makeover is the gray wall. (obvious) looks minimal, and the kanto yu2 speakers look really clean and a bit retro. Hope to win it! Love from Nepal!
Wow! You made a really clean and modern setup out of it!!!
The keyboard and Desk colour complement each other in my opinion. That little orange escape key has such a nice accent to it! I know it's super minor but I just find it aesthetically pleasing to me.
I realy like the modern desk setup that you did. It's really easy to use and it has a nice work flow to it!!!!
It's now clean and fresh! Nice feature wall color.
The Harry Potter quote is fire 🔥🔥🔥
The LG Ergo Monitor looks good especially that monitor arm, it feels premium! And I agree about putting those things on the wall, the setup looks better with more dimension. Good job.
This looks like Matthew Encina's
Edit: I was right
Me too, almost thought this was an update to the update he posted not long ago.
yeah same drawers and wall color, i thought it was his new workspace update video
Tarun sankar Perumal I came here from Matthew Encina
Dig the darker wall and white cabinets, looks organized and mature. Awesome job!
WOW! That's an amazing set-up. I just did a home office tour video but this is next level! 👏
My favourite part of the makeover is actually the whole setup, you can't just choose one thing, the whole setup is amazing, and everything fits so nice, also it's super sleek and I'm really digging it
Why didn't you clean up the grey paint stains on the white walls to the left and right of the desk?
got some smeared on the back of that orange chair too. makes the process feel rushed and unprofessional.
The pictures on the wall also look a bit skew if you compare the line of the monitor.
Still better than my setup though 😅
@@Kristof_InsertRandomText Pfft, anyone with a budget around $800-1000 can put that together. It's not like the table's custom built.
There are also lots of dust on stuffs like keyboards, mouse, speakers, & monitor in the finished close-up shots lol
Got me triggered too. Spotted it instantly
love the way you make desks with the separate tops and droors, and the monitor is so clean
I love how you just fitted everything together so cleanly! I really love those speakers so small but such high quality!
it's so beautiful what you did with the monitor it give it a sleek modern look
Wow I feel like I’m watching Matthew’s video again 😂
I really like how minimal the setup is. Everything serves a purpose but its not crowded. Cool stuff
What's that under the monitor?
Setup looks good.
want to know as well what the thing is under the monitor
want to know as well
It seems like an Ikea ENEBY
Miguel is correct, it is an Ikea ENEBY portable Bluetooth speaker
i really like that you used the hole in the lap for Alexa. it literally looks like a genuine product
Favourite part of the setup has to be the LG ergo monitor
My favorite part of the makeover are the monitor and speakers! That off-center stand is dope👌
That Matebook is something I always wanted to try !
I have the same one and it's pretty great!
my favourite part of the makeover is when you use the dark colour painting to match it with a sweet wooden desk, the wall deco is something else! plus the keychron suits perfectly with the theme.

Just wanna ask whats the black box (that looks like speaker?) under the monitor?
"Workplace" - I work at a university and would love this monitor would be amazing to show students presentations and flyers in a clean look.
You can actually buy stands like this that work with any monitor for cheap.

Really like the monitor and the speakers- very clean, aesthetic set up
I love the monitor stand, it makes the desk look very clean and very neat. All in all, I love this whole video.
That desk is super nice . It makes everything so classy
Wow! What an awesome transformation! My fav part of the setup is the paint ! Painr can really give that inspiration needed.
That orange chair gives the space some pop, love the minimal setup. Stay safe Justin 😷
These Setups are 'lit'. Superb. Keep up the good work.
Super cool transformation the desk setup itself made all the difference. But I’m sure the monitor was the kicker for him with the photography hobby
I really love it when they are this clean and simplistic.
I really dig that monitor, seems really useful, even if you're not working.
''Workspace''
'workspace'! Look it very clean and comfortable! I love monitor!
