Insightful as always. As someone who is comically tiny I appreciate belt setups from people who aren't built like barrels. I'm a 30" so belt real estate is always at a premium. I'll be very interested to hear your long-term thoughts on the Blue Alpha tail design. I recently wrapped up T&E'ing an outerbelt with a similar tail design but only on one side. I was intrigued by the idea, but ended up really disliking it. Acknowledging that I may have warmed up to it if the rest of the belt wasn't a complete disaster in practically every metric. I've been eyeing those Arbor Arms pouches since I saw them on SSD. But I haven't gotten around to ordering yet. What I started using instead was the new angle pouch adapters from Defense Mechanisms. I really like the ability to retrofit the mag pouches I already have on hand. I think it's a really affordable way to experiment and practice with angled before upgrading to a more dedicated set up like the Arbor Arms pouches.
That rear pouch is slick, looks like you could put a few rifle mags in it and clip it onto your regular belt if you just wanted to grab a few mags quickly.
Nice to see this tactical belt going back to the old LE belt roots, I still use my nylon Bianchi belt that was issued to me back in 1999, l just added a Cobra buckle belt. I bought 2 HCT belts almost 10 years ago and those are my range belts, maybe l'll pick one of this belt to check it out.
Very good. I recently did a belt video and it's pretty much vanilla, standard across the board while yours actually offers some innovation and newer products that I haven't seen before. Going to have to look into that dump pouch for my m50.
i love your belt setup videos !!! so many practical mods. i really do like the dump pouch i got from you, although i dont use it alot it provides options for dudes with small waists
Great video. Personally, i dont understand the argument of sitting in a car making having something on the back of your belt uncomfortable, at least when wearing a plate carrier. I've found that having an IFAK there, dead center, gives a lot of lower back support. Always made sitting in an uparmored Land Cruiser/Hylux and MRAPS for upwards of 8 hours at a time way more comfortable when wearing a plate carrier.
Have you tried the new DM belt yet? I took the chance on it being my first product from them and I’m blown away. Absolutely love it, it blows up old ronin and blue alpha out of the water I can’t see myself going to anything else again. Their sling is pretty great but patiently waiting for the RG C1G minimo..
AXL has been sold out of their belt for about 6 months. I saw this belt on a Shot Show review and instantly wanted it for my duty belt. I PRAY IT WILL BE IN STOCK AFTER THIS DAMN VIDEO
The old Blue Alpha molle is fine for lighter loads, one wrap your mag pouches n it doesnt matter really. 130$ is a great deal but id still have to weave 2 pouches n mark the new belt with paint pen n unscrew the MHA n all that- which sucks. Its very nice tho, and if i had double mag pouches or huge GPs with heavy stuff this belt would be a must.
Plastic buckles aren't that bad. They are standard on many LEO duty belts. They will stand up to going prone onto rocks getting pulled on by suspect, banged on by windows sills, etc. Yeah it has its down sides but it will get the job done.
I've been very happy with polymer Cobra and 3DSR buckles. With load capacities of 500 and 300 lb respectively I think they are more than adequate for most non-load rated belt applications.
Do you have any thoughts on blue force elastic pouches? I really like the minimalist design to cut down on bulk, but i have some worries about the longevity of elastic pouches, especially if stored with mags in, which i dont do for that reason. I know it makes re-indexing a no-go, but im fine with that
I like them but have have seen them dump mags when people bend over pushing them from the bottom by accident. They don't last forever, especially when used often.
@@KineticConsulting is that pushing up more a problem of positioning? If they are more directly at the 3 or 9 oclock position i dont see that happening much, that would be a problem with any uncovered belt mag pouch
I like the pistol ones for concealed carry. They are nearly completely flat when empty and if you use something like the PHLster Flex of Enigma are comfortable facing inward. I don't use them for anything other than concealed carry.
I'm interested in this belt, but I'm worried it won't carry the weight of all my police equipment. I currently run Blue Alpha's 2 inch molle LE belt and it carries the weight just fine.
If I were just listening and you never said the companies name i would think you were talking about a Raptor Tactical belt. RAPTORs belts have had what you said about the blue alpha gears belt for like 5 years now at least. Pretty sure blue alpha gear copied Raptor Tactical.
@@sargentga sure did. Not a one for one copy but how the buckels loop back through onto the inner belt and the laminate molle is slightly different just enough to be different but essentially the same belt.
Glad to hear you like the upcoming Battle Belt Lite! Thanks!
Hey. I love you
Do you have a release date? I want to get one on the drop for sure.
@@dubjspecialk This Wednesday
Followed. Liked (smashed it). Shared.
Haha! Appreciate it
Switched over to teklok/guardian warrior adaptor because of you. Helped simplify my belt for work. Now I can choose what I need depending on day
Saw on SHOT vid that the belt is slated for Feb/March release. Looking forward to trying!
Thanks for the velcro on the teklok idea for the pouch. I'm definitely using it for a nods pouch and radio pouch.

I'm guessing the belt is still in production because I cant find it on their site? Looks super sweet!
The Battle Belt Lite shown will be available in late February

Sometimes sitting in cars doesn't mean I am wearing a pc.

@@NiccoMinutoli I agree. Polymer or plastic have their place with duty or range gear. They are adequate for the majority of us.
Kore Essentials is my favorite belt hands down.
Great video! Does your belt get in the way of your rifle, when doing change over from long gun to pistol?
It doesn't.
Drink everytime he says " just something to think about"
🤣
Give Defense Mechanism belt a try, been using it on duty and has been serving me well
I've had one for months. We will see with time if I like it as much

@@thegeth4293 they can, even at different angles if leaning or running is involved.
Thank you for the video. Great info. What are your thoughts on holster leg straps and reasons for not having one?
I'm not a fan of them. I don't find the need with the way I mount my holster.
worth trading in the axl belt for one of these ? have you seen the DM belt?
Depends on what you like man. The Axl and dm are good belts too

This probably will but their 2in is a beast.
@@KineticConsulting Blue Alpha advised their new belt was not designed for LE work but it should be ok to handle the weight.
I'd like to learn how to "THRUST" properly 🤣
at 6:39 on the right pouch, how did you attach the ELS/QLS to the pouch?
I cut three holes in it, then you just bolted it on. Literally no science
@@KineticConsulting thank you!!
What optic are you running on your pistol? And what option did you click on for that 6390rds. I can not find a acro or holosun eps option to choose.
Good stuff 🗿
Try a lead devil full molle belt
Then I'm like, aw dang. My favorite part.
Can you make a dump pouch the size of a gas mask?
There's one on Kinetic consulting's website that fits the AVON C50 which is slightly wider than the M50 and around the same size as an M40.
Corey Wayne brought me here.
Subbed.
Who makes the rangefinder pouch with the QLS on it?
I think it's a gcode pouch that I burned holes into to bolt the qls on.
@@KineticConsulting awesome thanks. Your setup rocks. Keep it coming.
That's a cool shirt. Where's it from?
It's one of mine. There's a link in the description or you can go to the website
What pouches are your pistol mags in for this video?
Arbor arms
Thank you for the response
