A Battle Belt is a very versatile piece of kit.
It is very important that you set yours up to work the best way for you.
In this video, I discuss my Battle Belt Setup and why I have it set up this way.
Be Prepared, Stay Safe, God Bless You and God Bless America!

Little tip for the ITW mag, use bungee cord running through the back and have it go over top the mag as a secondary retention. Then pull bungee forward and tuck under the pouch when not needed. I run all fastmags and do it just for peace of mind

Cool set up. If I may make a suggestion. Place your defense knife 🔪 on your weak side. If someone jumps you and goes for your gun, the first thing you do and grab your firearm with your strong hand and secure it to the holster, if the knife is in your weak side, you can use your weak hand to grab the knife and get them off of you.
No way you can reach that knife with your none shooting hand / weak hand.

Definitely on the weak side without a doubt

For anyone looking for a similar inner pad setup, HSGI sells a pad in various sizes that does exactly what his rigged pad does.

I’ve seen quite a few videos on battle belts, yet the presentation and thought process during your video was very informative and educational! The manor that you present this information is extremely clear and interesting. Thank you for producing this fantastic video! Looking forward to future presentations!

Eventually, I want to get myself a home defense belt. Just in case. I'm a little paranoid, not fully, but a little. Seeing everything going on in America, how can you not be.

It’s not paranoid to think about self preservation and preparedness. Only fools pretend that reality is rainbows and butterflies. Training for physical activity and training with tools is important.

Brother we are literally 1 second away from the total distruction of our republic if people are not prepared by now they never will be and unfortunately most of the people that think they are prepared are absolutely not

For lower lumbar support the roll 1 works really well. Mainly used as an IFAK. But also sits very well on your lower back.

I’ve never skimped on equipment I’ve always bought the best of the best but seriously a 300$ belt I bought a 60$ belt for Tacticon and I couldn’t be happier spend your money on body armor

Bad back and military injuries can't support to much weight plus 9 years of armed guard has messed my back up so I use a sling bag for all my goodies.

It makes it a little difficult to put on "Quickly", but "I" use "Tactical Suspenders" on mine.
Makes it a LOT more comfortable and easier to carry if you have a bad back, big belly or whatever.

Yea that's why I just made a couple different ones. Ones an oh crap I need this NOW that is a simple single buckle and just a handgun with light mount, fixed blade, and extra mags
My other belts that have more of a "job" def have those little additions that make comfort alot better. I also try to just NOT carry 50 lbs of crap on my belt when it takes almost no extra time to sling on a backpack or plate carrier

Your AR mag is backwards and would require you having to flip it during the reload which would be one more thing you have to do.

Check out Wilder Tactical pads for your gun belt, I used a Kore essentials and a 511 Tactical. I set up 1 each yesterday. Only thing is being old with a weakened grip I had to use pliers to pull it thru, and you have to preplan the location of where you want stuff. iI's a lot less bulky than what he using.

Just found your page. 2 videos in and so far we're in 100% agreement (rare for me 😊). My belt is identical except for blowout location. You're able to readily access with left hand? Have to wear mine small of back. Stupid rotator cuff and labrum. Dig your content. Thnx.

Hi. Just bought one for Range, Home Defense, Woodland carry. Got the cheap one. It's hard to tell I'm even wearing it really. I'm just gettin' ideas. Newer stuff beats the LBE we were issued in '93. Do they mold or is it just my apt. ?

Thank you for this! I have been wanting to get a belt setup started and this is a great place to begin. Where would I find that padding that you used for the inside of the belt? That seems way more useful than the original Velcro liner.

I’ve got a much more trimmed down version of a battle belt that I wear when hunting out in West or South Texas. I’m Usually carrying just a bolt gun to hunt with, so having easy access to a higher capacity pistol (and extra mags) makes me feel quite a bit safer out there.
Not to mention the first aid kit I have on there too.
