  • After staring at the grass in the field for an hour, I decided to create realistic grass in Unity and optimize its performance to achieve a steady frame rate of 60 frames per second. This is a demonstration video showcasing the current results.

    How much fps did you have without the Grass in the scene?

      If there is no grass in the scene, the FPS should be around 80. With the addition of grass, it would drop to approximately 70.

      @@paro456 dang, I am doing it wrong then. When I look opposite direction it's around 70 for me, when I look at the grass (a fair amount of it) it tanks to 7 fps, I will make a video and post a link here in few minutes. I am fairly new to gamedeveloping so I am probably missing an important step. There is probably a way to make it more performent.🤔
