I just picked SC2 back up after about 5 years over the weekend (being inspired by Neuro & Harstem videos) and then you put out a new 2024 build order video for me?! How serendipitous!
It seems like you are sacrificing 1 or 2 injects at the natural in order to get creep started. Is that a tradeoff between production and creep spread or wouldn't you have the money to use the extra lava that the injects would give?
It depends on what your goal is - ZvZ Ill usually inject both so I can make speedlings, but vs Protoss and Terran I want more queens so I’ll creep and queen instead of go for more larva
I will say, lower level (platish) ZvZ you should go pool before hatch because its easier to defend 12 pools. Its a relatively simple change to the build that nets a lot of safety
i challenge your opinnion with my own stating it is good practise to defend with fewer resources and doesn't support a overspending type of play I also want to add that I think if you dont get enjoyment out of a greedy and difficult playstyle and hate early agression you should play pool first
@alttilehmusmetsa5926 I'm confused what you mean, Im just saying instead of rallying down to hatch at 17, its pretty simple to just get a pool before hatch. It costs the same and just changes when you pool and second queem finish
I learned and practiced this build a lot, I can apply it with little delays. However the problem is my API is ***Horrible***, I have about 90 API, so if the opponent just chills and don't do much I just macro better and win cuz I have more stuff, but if they do any sort of early attack I just cannot hold my 3rd and everything else becomes a mess. I understand this is just a lack of knowledge and finger speed, but as a casual player this is the kind of experience you get by playing this kind of macro build. Knowing how to react to the information you get from the 1st OV scout is what makes these builds really viable, and since I can't really make a good call on what my opponent is doing I don't know what to do if they don't just stay there and don't attack me early. I know the answer is just practice more, watch the replays and pay attention to the information I had and what I could've done to protect myself against all kinds of different early attacks, learn from every loss. But as I said I'm just a casual player sharing the experience I have playing this build.
One of the things you gotta learn as a more advanced tactic is being able to scout and respond, knowing how many bases your opponent is on, their worker count, and their tech can be really useful for planning as a Zerg.
TvZ sample: When you send your first overlord in enemy's natural and there is no CC , you can confirm if he is spending for being safe/aggresive rush atk so you have alot of time to prepare on your side. and if there is SCV building a CC you dont have to worry about it just continue your build macro. those Queens and sets of lings can defend with any sort of attacks/Harrasment in the early game. 👌
@@tuzph8625 I challenge your opinnion, i feel like the first overlord is too early because there are a lot of greedy terran builds that make the CC highground. a set time is good for scouting a bit later with the same overlord. feel free to change my mind
@@alttilehmusmetsa5926 well it depends if terran is greedy like you said he will not build CC high ground because it will delay the income. but if you are skeptical yung can continue scouting through main base. the purpose of early scouting is to confirm if your enemy is doing some sort of cheese or all in attack as early as posible so you can have much time to react.
This is nice and all, but I’d like to see this build against an aggressive opponent. It’s very rare that you’d make it to the 8min mark with little to no pressure from your opponent. I guess this comment has more to do with how to handle early aggression more so than the build, though.
He mentioned earlier on that any time you have a spare 150, make a queen. That plus lings should be plenty of defense to get you going. He also mentioned that against Protoss and Zerg, get ling speed earlier. Hope this helps 🙂

The overmind connects all zerg players 🙏
Started playing SC2 recently and I appreciate educational vids.
It’s so funny how these videos all vary slightly, and are all nice to watch.
Used to play as toss, now started playing again after like 6-7 years, this time as zerg after I watched rogue mass overseer. Thanks for the tutorials.
You’re welcome!
thank you sir zerg man
love you neuro
Right back at you fam
Thank you
Great video, thanks alot!
Awesome guide, ty!
This is so good and efficient but I cannot stop thinking it is too greedy.
❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉 Oss Senseï !!! Perfect for my plat Zerg 😌🤗
Best regards bro 🤘🤘🤘
amazing video man , thanks !}

This is neat. I'm consistently killing Elite AI now. Thanks, Neuro! :)

@alttilehmusmetsa5926 its the same larva, the hatchery works the same way, its just like 10 seconds later

niceeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

@@tuzph8625 building 2 CC highground to establish quick 3 base is greedy but just hidden as early aggression. You have to make sure.
For some clarification it's 33 overlord, 35 overlord and 36 overlord?
33 36 42 is usually good
Double macro-hatch so good for under master lvl players.
