The type of experience I got from playing this game will be hard to achieve again. Very great game, fun fan service although can be a bit too much at times, but overall just amazing. Personally did not like the ending segment but when it was over it still hit me.
Im pretty hyped for it since i read the original game. Just hope that the adult content is at least partly explained to make sense for certain scenes/characters. And looking forward if they made some other changes besides art/music etc.
And to note it is censored on switch and ps4. Steam is uncensored. Japanese switch release is also uncensored. Spikechunsoft cenored the localization release. (Censoring an oasis scene and the symbols on the game. Changing them to investigating symbols) Please let SpikeChunsoft know you want it patched to be uncensored like the japnese release.
I have the prologue on my channel if any of you want to watch. The 2011 fan-translated version is superior the 2019 remake I find, for how the sex scenes are all intact and the dialogue/translation is a little wittier.
You state that the fanservice stuff is optional. So how does that work? Can I play this just for the story alone without having to see too many fanservicy CGs? I really want to read this since I've heard so much about it being a masterpiece of VN, but some of the content in this review made me a bit concerned. Can I read this without ever seeing any erotic content? Also: How's the MC's personality? I've heard the MC from the original is pretty much constantly horny and constantly comments on this topic.
Since i read the original game i can say that Takuya was kind of a jerk and a lot of dirty jokes were made. If u know how he is in the anime u kinda get how he was in the game but not a bit less dirty. Regarding the ero content there will and must be some explanation in the remake bc some charas wont make sense or some emotional scenes will get wrecked.
The fan service aspects, such as the sex scenes, are not optional, since you do have to go through them, but with the fast-forward button, it skips the dialogue fast enough that you only see it for a few seconds. The protagonist's teenage urges do die down to some extent however as the story gets more serious over the course of the game~
To be more detailed, the main character is a student with failing grades. He self-proclaims in a thought monologue that he is a delinquent, in the first few minutes of the game, which establishes that he is not aiming to be anything. He's a pervert and a teen, and is often sarcastic with what he says to some of the girls he sees for the love of seeing a reaction, which establishes that he is playful. A few of his friends at school refer him as "The Walking Libido" since they know how impulsive his behavior can be. Interestingly enough, the protagonist pridefully acknowledges that title, which shows he has authority in that he's not someone who'd easily give in to bad influences. He slowly loses his immaturity as the game progresses because he knows that he needs to become a better man to have a chance to solve the mystery that seemingly revolves around an ominous package he obtains from his late father.
@@Lexyvil Wait, there are sex scenes in the remake? I thought they were cut out to get an all ages rating to be released on a console. The reason why I was hyped for the remake was that it got those sex scenes removed.
@@Lexyvil Oh boy, I almost dropped Muv Luv Extra for a similarly unlikable protagonist. But this one might make me want him to die in-game. XD I guess I'll skip that VN alltogether then, I really hate such MCs with a passion, you have no idea.
Oh I see.... a Visual Novel with a heavy story emphasis on the butterfly effect, and divergent story paths. That explains why the anime was pretty disjointed an all over the place.
Bruh it's literally a visual novel. Please inform yourself what types of games there are out in this world... It's the same as if you would say "yuck, this bread tastes like raisins" when it literally is bread with raisins. You don't have to buy it.
So much.......well. I wonder how....haha...IF the characters where the opposite sex. 😅 I don't think it make much of reginition, care and most likely get certain people to it. People to like it and others will bash it.

Its a vn its basically an anime story telled through a game. the real anime for me is just so sad... especially in the ending... theres a reason why they didnt tell what really happened next after they got into that endless void in the ending... its just sad. Basically they will live for eternity in a void where you cant do anything its basically just hell but way much more worse. They will live eternal life in an endless black void with only them to live with and the only entertainment they can possibly do is just *** (you know) they cant die either way... its endless. endless. endless of eternal void of pain imagine what would happen after just 1 year no how bout maybe a week they will just... Its unbelievable... So the ending summed up is this... Both of them will get into an endless dark void with only themselves to accompany with and they will live eternal life. Imagine eternal ETERNAL of nothing... Just a father and a girl with only themselves to accompany them and the only entertainment is freaking *** WTF...
@@sakichari6602 SPOILERS: I'm pretty sure it's implied that they became Adam and Eve in the ending, since Takuya _reluctantly_ smashed YU-NO back in Dela Grante.
Just finished the anime and wow this didn’t need to become a show.

Why are some people scared or offended with sex and sexy images? Its an adult novel for mature audiences

Just checked. While they removed the H scenes they DEFINITELY have nudity in this game
Thank you for the honest review, I will be buying this next paycheck
I cant understand why no one has ever made a video of the full soundtrack of this remake yet.
Well this is a complete throwback for me.

Making an anime based on this was a really bad idea...
Why couldnt they keep it original without so much censorship, still interested but they could of made it M rating lol
