What's up, everybody It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today we're checking out the Viair TLC Lite. It's gonna be a compressor, it's gonna be great for your bikes. It goes up to 105 psi. Let's check it out. First off, I wanted to show you what you get with this.
You're gonna get a 10 foot power cord, so that's plugged into the center console of the vehicle. Then we have the compressor portion, so that's gonna bring it all the way back out to the back tire, so it's at the back end of the back tire. Then the air hose is gonna be 30 foot, and then the air hose portion here that hooks up to the tire is gonna be 10 inches. So that's quite a bit to work with. So I can get to the front tire of my mountain bike here on the back of the vehicle.
I can walk to the back tire just as well, air that up, there's no strain on the cable, I don't have to worry about pulling the box with me. The compressor's not moving anywhere, it's staying in place. I can even go over to another bike over here. If I have a friend with me on their car, I can go all the way over here, air that up and still no strain on the compressor. First thing you wanna do is plug it in to your 12 volt port.
We'll plug it in here and go back outside. Here at the compressor, I'm gonna show you how to attach the air hose. All the attachments are gonna be just like this. You're just gonna pull down on this section, insert our fitting, let go. It should hold into place like that.
The final connection we're gonna need to make is going to be this section of the air hose. So same thing, it might look a little different but you just pull down, insert that all the way in, let go and that locks it into place. Now before I turn on the compressor, just wanna ensure there's other attachments built in. You got this one that's gonna be good for any soccer ball or football, and then you have two other attachments for other in inflatable objects as well. But they all push down in there, so they're gonna always be here when you need them. I like that they have a place here on the compressor. Now, I'm just gonna hit the power button. It's gonna kick on. See, it's not that loud at all actually. I can talk over it pretty easily and it moves a little bit, but I like that the rubber on the bottom of the case makes sure it doesn't rattle around and make even more noise. Now I'm gonna thread on our fitting. You'll hear some air escape, but not too much. You don't have to worry about it going flat on you. And now you'll look at the gauge and see how much is in your tire. We are at 20 psi, so I can pull the trigger here for a little bit more. You'll hear the compressor kick in, fills up the tank. Now to be careful while we just do a little bit on that trigger, you don't wanna hold it down too long. We're about at 30, or 25, sorry. But if I wanna let some of that out, I have the release valve here on the side. Bring it to around 22 on our front tire. It even comes with a pressure valve attachment, so what you're gonna do is make sure you loosen your valve first. Then we'll thread on the attachment. Now that that's on there, we'll attach our air hose. You can just throw that onto the bigger thread there. And with that tightened down, you should be able to add air and get a reading and even let air out. So we're gonna add our attachment for the pressure valve. So it's got that quick connect, just push down on this portion, push it into place, let go, it's locked in. So we're gonna push it down, I've already loosened the top portion of the of the valve. Push this over and you push down on it to get an accurate reading. We don't have much in there right now, so we're gonna air up the tire. 25, and we're go all the way up to 80. And if I accidentally go over, I can hit the release button and bag it down. Now let's look at the compressor. It's self-contained with this metal canister so you can't pull this portion out, which it actually works out 'cause that way it all stays in there, you can just put the power cord in there and put the lid on when you're done. I wanna point out the bottom before I close it up though, it does have rubber stoppers, so that's gonna keep down the noise of vibrating when you turn it on. It's not gonna be vibrating in place like that and slamming against the ground, you've got those rubber pads there that keep it really quiet and in spot at the same spot, so it doesn't travel around. I've worked with some other compressors that kind of move when you plug them in and that's annoying. So I'll show you, we can just bundle up th

Unfortunately, we don't carry the Viair 75P. If we decide to offer it in the future, we will absolutely do a demonstration video for it.
