Love the pedestal bow. The colors are amazing. I really like the way you don't attempt to edit out your mishaps, it make turning doable for those who might be intimidated. Keep 'em coming...
Thank you Bob, that is one of the things I like about other channels, they showed the mistakes making them not perfect like me so I formatted my channel that way.
You are right it is very pretty. Don't shorten your videos too much. Your narration is marvelous! Love it.
Thank you
Speaking for myself, the length of your videos is just fine - we not only get to see an artist at work, but you're fun, too. I LOVE this project, Doug. The gold and copper make it look like it's on fire. I like how despite the resin and sometimes the wood playing games with you, you STILL manage to persevere, and come out with something so beautiful at the end!
Sounds like the angry chipmunks had their family over for Thanksgiving in the shop with you.
Thank you Milady
Just so perfect I can see it full of apples on a dining table. Well done.
Thank you Beth
apple schmapple, id eat my cereal out of that sucker i the morning !! LOL Beautiful bowl
Love the colors of the bowl. It has a wonderful glow to it.

Thank You Mark, yes it does decide how the bowl will finish out.
It turned out super. I’m so happy that you stuck with it, it’s something I always try to do myself. Nothing is wasted💪👍

That is so pretty! I love the copper and gold and how it compliments the wood. The wood tilting works. Gives the resin and organic flow.

Wow, the colors are just beautiful. Beautiful bowl.
Thank You Mike
This is an amazing piece, the contrasts of the wood and resin clear and the colors beautiful, great job!

come up during a project.
Thank you Bill

As we get older we do things our way..we still learn things but in a way we can ..Unfortunately unlike trees when our hands start getting worn out we can’t just grow a new one lol..I think your doing wonderful work, you have some very clever ideas and each piece like this one is a beautiful piece of art ..No one ever finishes learning they just find new ways to improve on perfection..My theory any way..Stay safe 😀
Thanks Again Christine,
I think it looks awesome and really like how the wood didn’t stick to the bottom, it gives a great effect. Keep smiling Mr PB another great project 🤘🏻🤘🏻

I've been thinking about buying a lathe and starting to learn this art. If my perfect pieces turn out even 1/10th as nice as your "mistakes" I'll be extremely happy.
lol if you finish the project it is as perfect as it can be, no one is perfect. just don't give up and do your best.
Lord Man! I gotta say, that is one of the best resin pours I have ever seen !!

That is gorgeous.
Thank You
It look Great. Love the color
Thank You Deborah
Just glue a circle of wood to that space in the bottom and burn your logo into that. You might even be able to use the cutoffs from the wood blank
Thank you
What I was thinking, use a wood that will contrast or match, depending on what you think is the better look.
I was going to make the same suggestion. So glad I saw your comment!
Yeah it’s a cheap way to solve his problem instead of using a token. He can also use this on other resin projects.
That’s what I was thinking! Make a wood coin instead of metal.
The resin colors are so awesome and the clear takes it over the top!
Looks beautiful!
Thank You Steven
I like Sherlock 789 idea Doug. Put bowl in cole jaws and glue a piece into the mortise for your stamp. Thumbs up as always.
Hope you bagged your deer this season. Mine here is Wisconsin accidentally ended the Monday after opening weekend without a deer.
Thank you Bryan, No deer yet !
That's incredible !! 😍😍 love the colours 🙌🙌🙌
Thank you Claire
Whatever you did you did it well! It's awesome!
Thank you Jacki
Try using half back pearls as inserts. They come in micro size to large size and in a variety of colors and I think you’d love them! I think it’d be a beautiful piece
Thank You I will look into them
Beautiful bowl❤
Thank You Karen
Beautiful love the Gold/Copper resins. Happy Thanksgiving 🍁🍽🦃 ❤️
Thank you Maddie
Love the bowl. When I was wood carving I had a ideal of how I wanted the carving to look but as I was carving the wood showed me how I should carve. So in the end it turned out different then what I wanted. But your bowl looks great.
Thank you Woodden
turned out great doug hope you had a great thanks giving buddy .
Thank you Dark
Beautiful, buddy! I love the bits of clear around the rim.
Billy

Ya made another master peace. The wood floating up at an angel actually worked out great. I missed the heater.....glad its back. As for too long, it allows for you personality to come out. Keep um long. Happy Thanksgiving.
Thank you Gerald
Pretty cool Doug. I like the way you always seem to make something great out what started out as a small mistake. Beautiful bowl
Thank you Steve
Happy Thanksgiving to you and the whole family!
Thank you Quiggy
#253 Chocolate Ice Cream? you gonna turn that too? You need a buffer plate that wedges into the Botton of the pale then you glue to the wood buffer plate and Wa La! O see the resin is dulling your HSS tools fast! Make Pohl Barn disc that has the brand on it to glue in hole there Doug! Turn On Buddy, Turn ON!
Beautiful!!!
Thank you
Love the copper and clear together. Surprised it seperated AND that you did not fill it with black CA glue. Looks good as it is!
Thank you Bob, the black CA tends to bleed into the grain of the wood so I stayed away from it. I do have brown but didn't think about it.
That copper, gold and clear copper combo looked great.
Thank you Brent
Think this is the first video of yours I've caught within 24 hours of publishing. I'm new to this resin and wood turning stuff...just popped up in my feed one day
it's addicting Jonathan ! thanks for watching
14:00 from my experience, lacquer never works after wax (abrasive paste). You can never get the oils completely out of the wood in order for the lacquer to properly stick
the same problem with Oak and no wax or paste. trapped air always does this, either way I fixed it
Thanks for watching Gabriel
I was thinking don’t get so close to the edge before Doug started to flatten out the bottom.
Great looking piece
Thank you Dusin
This is gorgeous!!
Thank you
