Its gorgeous... I love the color. Bob Ross used to say, "there are no mistakes....just happy accidents."
Thank you
The Pohl Barn Productions at 17:14 in this video You can see the Star of David ✡️ in the bottom of the bowl, crazy cool 😎 God bless you in Jesus name. I Believe that you have a good heart a faithful Hart. King David wasn’t a perfect man but God said he is a man after my own heart and I believe that is in your character, whether you love the Lord or not I believe he’s saying you have some of The same character traits as David.
Even when he did wrong and realized it or called out on it he quickly turned and repented and got right back on track doing what was right and righteous and pleasing to the Lord an amazing man I hope this word blesses you for God is speaking all the time and I bebelieve he speaking to you.
@@LanceblissfullyWalks seen that too
I'm at the point where I hit the like button before I've even watched the video, anyone else? Because let's be honest, already know I'm going to love the end result, always do! Amazing as always!!!!!
Yes, I'm right with you, Sondra.
exactly!
Thank you Sondra
Thank you David
Thank you Jennifer
I can't stop watching these, and I am not a craftsman. I just love watching skilled hands creating art. Your laugh makes these even better. That bowl is beautiful.
Thank you
Lovely bowl. I love your work and yes Sir, you inspire me.
I really like that rim of blue. It's a nice effect on your projects. The wood grain is WOW !!! Beautiful project. Definitely a thumbs up.
Thanks again John
Incredibly non-purple purple piece of art! Gorgeous, PB!
Thank you Lucille
“The resin’s the thing, whereby a wood carver may become a king.”
😍😍
I want to learn.
Thank You Anna
Fabulous! Absolutely! Your choice of wood, and the blue from purple, well, it is just amazing!
Thanks for sharing your talent with us!
-Ellen
Thank you Ellen
I love this bowl...the wood and the resin are gorgeous!
Thank you Carol
Am I the only one that finds it oddly satisfying watching those resin ribbons covering everything (even ears) and cameras?? That’s my favorite part honestly other than the finished product.
you are not the only one Tracey
Im not sure why I havent seen this until now. I do love this bowl, even if it didnt turn purple on the top. Its purple, nice and dark where it soaked into the punky part. It gave it a very nice effect. Its PRETTY!! I like the ice blue rim too!
Thanks Doug for sharing.
Thank you Texana Glad you like it!
That is absolutely beautiful. I am awestruck that two hands, some resin and a bit of sanding grit can transform a hunk of unusable wood into something so truly fine. Keep doing it and I'll keep watching!
Thank you Eva
China berry bowl turned out great!
Beautiful art of wood. Great
I love the bowl Doug. It turned out beautifully. Purple is my favorite color and I was anxious to see a purple bowl but this bowl was just perfect as it was... You could see all the little cracks in the wood perfectly.. the resin seeped through wonderfully.
Thanks for sharing and keep up the great work.
Thank you Nena, the resin did a good job getting into those cracks
Wow!!! What a work of art!!!! I love it!!!!
Thank you Sandie
I Never see the vision till it’s done, so pretty. Glad you know what your doing, ha!

Great looking bowl. Looks as though the resin has a mind of it's own.
Thank you Bob, yes it does !
Beautiful combination, that China berry pops well when finished.
Thank you Moe, yes it does
Chinaberry blue is a real color! It's the color of the sky in Southern California in January when the white chinaberries are hanging in the trees. Such a blue, blue sky! Most of the year the sky is pale.
Thank you Kay. I did not know this
That’s funny my grandmother had a chinaberry tree growing in the front yard for decades . The berries are yellow;) . That turquoise bowl is gorgeous
Thank you, we've all seen one some place we just didn't know what it was. yellow or orange berries I have seen on them.
Good morning Doug. I love the translucent ice blue and the grain is just beautiful. Great piece, mate.
Thank you David

Great grain pattern in the wood. Interesting turn that the purple ended up being a blue green. Loved the end result!

So amazing. Much better it being blue. Would make a perfect cereal bowl.
Thank you
i think that it was a very beautiful blue..........and also i think that sometimes colors can morph or change on you under certain conditions and in certain mediums................but that purple really gave a beautiful blue..........very pretty and very unique
Thank You Rebecca, yes the PH in the resin I think changed the color, I now Have a purple dye that stays purple.
Another Beautiful creation 👍👍👍. You and other wood turning artists take a piece of wood and expose the beauty in it. WOW
Thank you
You do a great job of walking us through the process and being honest. Thank you. Get rid of the chunky bases. They dont work with the bowls.
Thank You Dylan
That looks like sooo much fun. You make it very interesting!

Great looking bowl Doug! And thanks!
Thank you, no problem buddy.
Hi Doug. Stunning bowl! I was amazed to find it was available, no, STILL available, on your Etsy store. WAS being the operative word, I bought it. I recently acquired some Chinaberry from a friend and fellow club member so I searched for examples and this is indeed a beautiful piece of art. I will treasure it always...
Thank you Don.... I'll get it out First thing Monday, it's weird to turn, it's both hard and soft at the same time.
WONDERFUL WORK!!!!! Love it!!
Thank you

Thanks again Luke.
Your work is incredible. Keep the videos coming!
Thank You, I'll do my best
One of the best combinations you've done! You may want to use a red first (dark mixed) then add a drop of blue for the purple you seem to be looking for.
Thank you Bob, yeah I've done that but it's hard to tell what color it really is until it turned,
Turned out beautiful
Thank you Larry
Doesn’t get any better. Stunning.
