Just landed in Berlin this morning. Only been here for a few hours and it's already my favourite city in Europe. My wife and I have been traveling Europe for a couple months now. As soon as we landed in Berlin, it was the most inviting and accepting city we've ever seen. Nice change from Rome, where everyone makes shitty remarks because we have tattoos and people we're trying to rip us off constantly because we're foreigners
Rome is such a beautiful place, but us the Italians have our own particular way of being inclusive... which is nonexistent ahahah. Sorry for your bad experience, hope you enjoyed the city though!
i love germany and europe.as an american,i love the architecture in europe.i went to berlin and fell i love and i shall continue to visit.most people are very kind and most can speak a little english but new your have the girls but then, they re everywhere!CHEERS!
Fantastic Samuel & Audrey. Berlin looks amazing and you captured and edited this video so well. All the food looks amazing, especially those currywursts and the finale schnitzel. And was that a Korean style tornado potato I saw in there? Great production.
Mark Wiens thanks! I think you'd really like the food in the city. Street food is really big in Berlin and every currywurst type of shop kind of has their own unique way of preparing it. Indeed, that does look like a very Korean style twist potato :)
I live in Berlin and i can tell you a few good things to do in the summer.. Go chill on a park, take a picnic and chill, I like the small one on boxhagner square, its small and in my neighbourhood, get beer, we love a good beer! There is a great artisan Beer place in Wedding and the beer is like 8.5%! Try falafal, we have amazing falafal here! Go raving, we love our techno and we love a good rave! Get strawberrys from the little strawberry vans! Get home made ice cream in friedrichshain, it literally gets a que all the way up the street! Dont go to tourist trap night clubs, here are my fave local clubs, Berghain of course ( on a Sunday) , Arena, Tresor (Saturday is usually my fave night) about blank, sisyphos ( super fun to go whilst tripping) Kitkat ( Gegan and same bitches are my fave parties there) Go shopping in friedrichshain, it has amazing little boutiques also kreutzburg does too. Hire a bike for a day and explore, Prenzlauerberg has some pretty parks. Go to some cocktails bars, Fairy tale bar is Alice in wonderland themed and soooo cute, deffo recomend. Minimal bar is my fave local, its chill and has good music and a ping pong table.. Club divissionaire is also a nice chill bar.. Excuse my spellings of things, it is so bad but if you google it, it will correct it, I just cba. Go to a spa, Vabali or liquidrome.. Those are just a few of the things I do in my spare time! Enjoy!
I love Berlin, it´s my home town, I love to live here. There are many beautiful places. Dependig on how much time a visitor has, there are many more places to go than the usual tourist attractions.
Enjoyed the video. That Turkish Donair looks mighty fine. Talk about a healthy portion of food. Berlin looks a cool city to visit as well as being affordable.
Last time I was in Berlin was back in 2008. Can't wait to visit this beautiful city again in three weeks! Thanks for the video guys, it's really helpful! I must try the Turkish food by the way, looks so delicious :)
LPS friendlyproductions Thank you! That's great you'll be heading back again. We both really loved Berlin and would consider it as a potential base in the future. We hope you have a great return visit.

Berlin is the capitol of all "free-cities" in the world. Without a doubt. Nice vid.
I've been born and raised in Berlin and didn't even know that there is a Currywurst Museum and Cat Cafes :D, but I would actually recommend eating Schnitzel in Austria or at least Bavaria. Also your pronunciation of Döner is hilarious :) No offense, I love you guys and I think you've listed some pretty cool things in this video
Good video, which was very informative and to the point. Funnily enough, I had come across you guys before with your trip to Belfast, Northern Ireland, which was also good. Keep up the good work!
I was in Berlin last year for a few days with some friends, loved it. I can understand and speak german very well, but not fluently. But enough to be understood. I didn't study german at school, I'm self learned.
Was in the Army in Berlin 1961 to 1963. Returned for visits in 1998,2006 and 2010. Lov eto ssspend time on the Kufurstendamm and Unter Den Linden.Lov eAlexander platz,Charlottenburg,Reichstag,Haupybanhof.Olympic stadium,Treptow Gardens,Potsdammer Platz,Tiergarten, and many other places.Ich Liebe Berlin.
This is a fun video, I liked that you included some unusual things (eg. fleamarkets) as well as the main attractions. I visited in May and had a great time - definitely would go back again, but will skip the Currywurst! What is Berlin like in October/ November? I've heard the winter is very cold, with warm summers but that seems to be when it is most busy with tourists.
I have seen your video about things to do in Prague and this one about Berlin, looking for recommendations for places to visit... I will be there soon in the European Summer =D Very useful and funny videos, greetings from Chile! =)
I love Berlin. It's my favourite European capital city, and I'll be there in February 2019 to shoot a 4-day vlog. I can't wait. German beer, German bratwurst, Hertha Berlin...
I have been to Berlin in 2016 And i loved it so much!! With it's amazing museums, art galleries, parks, people, clubs and food!!! The only thing what i can say to people is:To go to Berlin enjoy the city and eat a lot of curry wurst!!!!Oh,And i forgot to say try to enter in Berghain! In World's greatest club ever.
When i was in Berlin, I loved the Tiergarten and the Brandenburger Tor. And the food was absolutely Fantastic! (Little tip: Go to Motzstrasse 6, there is (or at least, was), a little restaurant called Kofte burger, right opposite to hotel sachsenhof (which is by the way amazing, i stayed there when i was in berlin). In kofte burger the kofte (some kind of kebab-ish food) was absolutely amazing, i loved it. there was also a magnificent sushi restaurant 'bout 50 meters away. You should also go and see siegessäule. It was cool! And of course Berlin Tv-Turm was fantastic... And Berlin technisches museum.
Great video! I've been to berlin one time a few years ago. But i would strongly surgest that people take a guided tour around hohenschönhausen its an old Stasi prison where you can see all the ways that the nazi used to hold prisoners. One of the guides woring at the prison, have been a prisoner there him self. He tells the most amazing and scary stories you could ever imagine!
Guys ,I ll come to Berlin for Master Degree so please if you have a small rent room attach to Bathroom for rent pm me ,I didnt find a cheap room yet !!!
I see from your channel information the you`re from Canada. They do sell Ritter Sport in the U.S. Templehof was the U.S. Air Force. Remember The American, British, and French Armies, and the American and British Air Forces had a presence in Berlin for 49 years. I was there in 1979-1980, 2/6th Infantry McNair Barracks U.S. Army. During the Cold War Allied personal were not allowed to ride the S-Bahn it was controlled by the East German railroad, and we couldn`t ride the U-Bahn lines that went under the wall through the east. And when the Berlin wall was up and in operation it was a sight to be seen.
I love your videos, a great guide for anyone planning to visit a country for the first time. Can you tell me where the backing music is from. I look forward to future uploads from you. Enjoy your travels.
+Samuel & Audrey Myself and my Cousin are going to visit Berlin in August, so this video has given use some useful ideas of places to visit. I saw your films you made of your trip to London. I live in South London and would not want to live anywhere else. I meet up with a friend regularly and we love to walk along the side of the River Thames and actually walk for miles. Keep uploading your videos and happy travels.
I loved berlin their are things that I didn't know about that I missed on when I was there. My favorite place their was the German history museum because it talked about the war from German perspective.
In Berlin i like Pater Biergarten, The S-Bahn foodbridge at Warschauwer Strasse when you come out the S-Bahn. The Oranienstrasse scene. The beach bars called Strandtbars in Berlin are great too
I am gonna spend NYE in Berlin but I am afraid about the fireworks and the chaos in berlin at this point of time. How did you manage to be safe this day with all this fireworks. From videos it looks like a war zone on NYE.
Thank you so much. I just visited Berlin for the first time and your video was 100% helpful. Next time you go to Berlin go to the Bikini Shopping Mall. Its not a typical mall at all. Its like an art museum with a zoo attached.
a great video as always. I am going to berlin in a few weeks for new year and am really looking forwad to it, i went 2 years ago and love the city. A couple of things really, 1 dont stamp your passport at the checkpoint charlie monument as it will become invalid for further use and 2 dont be tempted to buy 1 of those hop on hop off bus things you see all over, last time i got a 7 day transport pass for i think 32 euro that gave me access to buses, trams, and trains i think the hop on hop off bus is 25 euros for 1 day and its not great, if you want to see the city get a 100 or 200 bus from zoo station bus terminal and that takes you to all the sites. Also if you are in berlin go and see sashenhausen concentration camp, it is only a 30 or 40 minute train ride out of berlin (and covered by your pass) and it is a fascinating place to see, a real once in a lifetime place.
just came from berlin.its awesome, walked for a day and covered all the major landmarks.took a hop on hop off bus for 2hours,it was fun.and the most important thing, went to artemis.he he......boys will be boys.germans are really good people, hard working, very disciplined, and friendly.
Your list hit a lot of high lights. My recommendations depends a lot on your age and interests, and time of year.. Something for everyone in Berlin. In summer, for the sun lovers, there is the Teufelssee. In Kreuzberg, the Markthalle. Near Anhalter Bahnhof there is a place called Liquidrom where one can float in a huge covered pool that is filled with salt water that helps one float, music is piped through underwater speakers while colored lights play on a low cavernous dark ceiling. Later you can have a dry or steam sauna or soak in an outdoor hottub. There is Motzstrasse if one is interested in the Gay district. I could go on.
Hi, me and my friend are going to Berlin in July and we are wondering if you recommended booking certain things in advance such as the TV tower and museum island. Thanks
You guys are awesome! I watched your videos on Cambodia and Thailand before I went a month ago, and now my next destination is Berlin, so I looked for videos and found you guys again. Love your videos!
The new Berlin Mall has just opened a few weeks ago. It is located between Potsdamer Platz and the Brandenburg Gate and is now Berlins largest shopping mall. At the U-Bahn Station "Mohrenstrasse" there is a supermarket (Friedrich) on 2 levels. It is the favorite supermarket of German chancellor Angela Merkel and she is a there usually once a week at least. Third thing i recommend is a meal at the Chinese restaurant "Peking Ente" . It is located Wilhelstr. / Voßstr. opossite the U-Bahn Station "Mohrenstr." that i mentioned above. The entry of the restaurant was the formerly entry to the "Reichskanzlei", the office of Adolf Hitler. It has been destroyed after the war and the marble from it is partly used for the U-Bahn station "Mohrenstrasse" (some experts say it isn`t) so maybe it`s a mythos with that marble stones. Behind that building and heading to the Holocaust memorial you are passing a site that is now a parking space and a small park and was the "Führerbunker", the underworld of Berlins central of power during the second world war. It is also the place where Hitler did his suicide. If you have a weekend don`t miss to take a guided tour to the "Teufelsberg" which is a formerly radar station of the US, the right place for America to spy all activities of the eastern part of Europe that goes through phones, TV and radio. Walk upstairs and stand in the middle of a huge RADOM. in the western part of the city there are lots of walking ways, ponds and rivers. Last thing i want to recommend here is the "Olympiastadion", that has been built for the Olympic Games in Berlin which unfortunately turned into a more political event for the Hitler regime but anyway a great and impressive building and surrounding area.
Great vid, I've just returned from my 4 week trip to berlin to stay with my girlfriend, The Currywurst is awesome, curry 66 in kreuzberg did one mean tasty meal, but my favourite thing to do in December was enjoy the Christmas markets. I can't remember the name of the park we walked through but maybe someone may be able to give you the name from my description ( Its a park thats walk ways are over and part of an old dis-used train junction not to far from Tempelhof park
Really very helpful! I am going to Berlin next week and I have only two days ... I would love to see the east part of Berlin Any tips or advices please Thanks guys :))

One thing you forgot is the nightlife... There are a lot of awesome clubs. Nightlife on the streets, bars. You always meet new people.
This is true! We should have included that.

Cool to hear about your experience in Berlin. It is a cool city.

I used to live in berlin back in 1987 to 1990 and i was there when they seperate the berlin wall... aahh i so wana go back...
Bigggie5769 It would be fascinating to see how the city has changed since that time.
I've done everything except the Cat Cafe and the Curry Wurst Museum, and took my own bike.
sundayhusband , that's awesome to hear! What would you add to the list?
I could go on.
planning to visit this January
Cool to hear! Be sure to dress warm.
Very, very touristy but a good place to start if you‘ve never been.
Looks like I'm gonna be getting my paint on in Berlin
Thanks for the tips!
Thank you! Enjoy Berlin!
Nice channel, I'm subscribing
Thanks Fernando! We appreciate it :)
Love your videos!
bmwl0ver thank you! That's so cool. How was your trip to Cambodia/Thailand? Best wishes in Berlin - it's a very cool/artsy city :)

I will follow this path :) tomorrow when ill reach berlin
That is cool to hear! Hope you have fun.
In the winter... it is freezing so just stick to art galleries, alternative fashion week and raving!
Wow nice video...Berlin The Wall..... Why not enjoy 2 minutes to check it out?
Great content ✌️
Thank you very much!
You should also Check out the "Tempelhof Airfield"!
Michael Lampel Wow! Thanks for these awesome tips. It's become apparent that we barely scratched the surface of things to do in Berlin.
Good video , amigos Berlin 20/20
Thanks Sandra!

I love Berlin, It's the mecca for hipsters, great food, great drinks and wonderful sights. I totally recommend visiting it during Oktoberfest.
ali jumah That's cool! Great suggestion as we've yet to visit during that time.
My favorite Berlin attraction is the wonderful Kriminal Theater. As for food, you have to try a Russian restaurant called Pasternak.
Flavio Sousa thanks for the suggestion! We'll likely be back in Berlin again someday soon :)
