I was not excited to drill six holes into my bikes fender. Looks and worked great after watching your other video. Also advanblack extended fenders which are obviously a easy install. Steve, Top line videos, you are a great asset to Advan Black for sure. I want to order this for my 2016 SGS but it tells me it will not fit. What is the difference between the 14 and the 16? Only thing I can see that may be different is the tops on both sides, but looks like the OEM one you removed is similar to the one I have but the new one you put on is different from that one.
These will absolutely fit 14 and newer bikes and 09 to 13 with a small modification to the front bracket. Dont rely on the fitment on the website its not always correct, If you have any questions please call me on the advan tech support line.

Put my 5 inch saddle bags & my extinction fender piece on now I'm about 1/2 an off from my bags lining up in the back around the pipes . What's the problem?
Hope you can help me out. ecently I installed HogWorkz fender extension and i have issue with clearance at the bottom of the saddlebags as bag is touching lower portion of the saddlebag as extension is wider on the bottom comparing to stock one. Any tips how I can correct it?
I've looking for any info on installing this on a 2008 Road Glide. The fender extension comes with bolts, but no holes in it for mounting. I thought I remember reading somewhere about 2 or 3 inches of fender extension needed to be trimmed off. Thanks for you help.
The pre 08 fender extension is a 7" extension. You can trim it down, but it is not required to mount it. and yes the pre 08 does not come with pre drilled holes. You will need to mock it up and drill the holes.

Hey buddy...the bags in this video are the CVO style bags we sell and they are shorter than the 4.5 inch stretched bags. The first 3 videos on this cannel are all done on the same bike. We added the fender extension to show it works with the cvo bags and the 4.5 inch stretched bags.
Sooo… I received my rear fender extension today for my 07 street glide and I noticed right away that it came with new bolts but there’s absolutely NO holes?!
In the description for the fender extension it says For '96-'08 Harley Touring models 7'' stretched & perfect solution for your existing fender. Do not come with tri light bar holes. Do not pre drilled holes for installation. You will need to mock up the fender extension and drill your holes and use the provided hardware.
Our fender extension eliminates the antenna...if thats what you want to do then you are more than welcome to dot it. Be aware that the back of our fender extension does not have the same curve as the stock one so you will need to drill it out at the top and then slightly bend you antenna so it coming through the hole straight and not at an angle.

if you compare the stock one to the extended one where the antenna would go you will see the stock one is cut right in the slight curve...the extended one has a more pronounced curve at the top. So you can cut the hole in and use the beauty ring from your OEM one but you will need to do it at the top on the flat spot which also requires you to bend your antenna slightly so it goes through the hole. And yes...the bottom of your bags are flat, the extension is curved... that's where you get the .5 inches of difference. They are made to go together.
Will this fit the new electra standard fender. I understand I would need to modify where the 6 bolts are that electra standard doesnt have. But will it slide under and fit fender shape
On your Orange RG, you have the 4.5" extended bags. Do you have any scrapping issues with those or do you have a different rear suspension setup to prevent them from scrapping?
the RG has stock suspension. My SG has 4.5 bags, dropped an inch and I run air ride so I run alittle lower than normal....no scraping issues but I don't right hard. All stretched bags with any suspension will drag if you corner really hard. So that will always come down to your riding style. Don't forget though we also offer skid plates as well in case you do.
I ordered the 4.5” stretched bags and fender extension for my 2006 street glide. The fender extension wasn’t prepped for anything. I had to drill for the mounting holes and the tri-bar slots aren’t cut. Is this normal?
There are no tri bar slots in that fender....that design on the back is not for a tri bar light. And it is listed on the website that it does not come pre drilled...so yes that is correct. Unfortunately this is all that is available for a 08 an older bike.
I notice road water and dirt run out between the factory guard and the extended fender. does running a felt tap or otherwise reduce this from happening.

We run 4.5 inch exhaust with the 4.5 inch stretched bags...In this style stretched bags you will only find 4.5's even the ones listed as 5 inch are still 4.5s and that refers to the stretch not the hole for the exhaust just so were on the same page.
I have a 12 street glide. Going to put the 14 extended bags on. Wanting to go no cut. Going side pipes. Will the 14 rear no cut rear extension work on my 2012 ?
I have a 2019 road king. There aren't any notches on the rear fender left or right side for me to install the extended fender. What do I do in this case?
you have 2 options on the road kings and ultras. You can mock it up and drill it yourself or replace the rear fender with a street glide or road glide rear fender. we did one here in the shop...it will work..you have some play because of the beauty ring but not much...cut carefully.

I'm having an issue with the lower part of the bags pushing against the fender. There is a gap at the top but not at the bottom. Any fix for this?
I'm wondering why not mention of hole sawing a hole in the left side to fit a 3/4 or 1 inch grummet and running that antenna as before

yes you can...Ive used a Dremel and cutter wheel. but it has to be cut at the top after the bend
How did the cut out work for you? I really want to keep my antenna in the same spot

yes...the rear fender extension is made for the 09 to 20 bikes. They are all the same.

No the ciro filler lights are designed for the tock extension. It is not the same shape at the bottom
