Week 1 on the slimming world diet plan - what I’ve been eating , how it works and my weight loss results from my first week.
I will be making weekly videos on how I’m getting on, what I’m eating etc every THURSDAY!

If you don’t know what the slimming world plan is I’ll explain briefly:
- 2 x healthy extra A choice per day
Milk + Cheese which is weighed/measured.
- 1x healthy extra B choice per day
Bread, crackers, cereals etc
- Unlimited ‘free’ foods
Veg, salad, most meats, pasta, rice, potatoes, seasonings etc
- 5/15 ‘syns’ per day
Crisps, chocolate, sauces, white breads- anything not free has a syn value
Every Monday I will be going to the slimming world class where I weigh myself and each week I’ll be telling you how I’m getting on , what I’m eating , slimming world recipes & more.

Hi in your description of the SW plan ive followed for 5 years. It 2 x HEA milk cheese etc and 1 x HEB fibre intake per day. You may wanna check and change. ✌🏾🤗

I lost five stone on SW and kept it off for 7yrs but then got into bad habbits due to bereavement and the pandemic. Those bad habbits were eating takeaways, bread, biscuits etc, all the ultra processed rubbish. I need help so am rejoining. I never should have stopped because its so easy to do for life... but my sadness made me loose my way.
I know it’s hard you have to be ready and in the right mindset, you needed some time away don’t feel guilty. You will get back on it and lose the weight let me know how you are getting on x

Yes 100% Saturday night will be a meal and drinks ‘off plan’ it’s all about balance you can still lose weight doing this

I’m really curious, what made you retry it? I watched your older video a while a go and you said that it absolutely doesn’t work and you get better results by doing what you usually do. What’s changed your mind?
To be honest I wanted the support of going to the weekly weigh ins , i understand the plan better now I have more knowledge about food so I thought I’ll give it a go again x

Yea I'm.back on sw, tried calling, secondnature and ww, sw works if u really stick at it but it's super healthy as u eat tonnes of veggies etc x

Yes I agree I didn’t think I would go back to slimming world but I am really enjoying the plan now I understand it more x
I think after calorie counting and learning more about protein and macros sw is easier and makes sense as long as u r mindful of portion sizes, sw follows the 80/20 rule well 80%being free foods and the 20% is syns, please keep the what I eats coming as they r super helpful xx
Hi sweetie just joined your channel and I'm also a slimming world person just a few pointers xx the syns (not sins) mean synergie its how foods works together to lose the maximum weight also you must have a 3rd speed foods on your plate this also loses maximum weight this means although food is free you shouldn't pile your plate up just one layer and the most important is to drink plenty of water so good luck in your weight loss sweetie xx

I think around 50-60g of dried pasta is what’s recommended for a portion x

Hi yes I do workout regularly although the first 5 weeks of joining I didn’t workout as I was in the process of moving house but now I am again, so we’ll see if I get better results now I’m working out regularly again x
I could slimming world help me develop healthy eating habits. It becomes a way of life in the end
I'm in SW and I couldn't care less what the "fitness industry" thinks about it (not against you, just the industry) the fitness industry also tells us things like pre-workout is for everyone and fat burners are just fine 🤔
Yes I get it, that’s why I’ve joined again I want to do it for me and I don’t care if anyone judges me for it the plan does work and I like the support you get from group each week
@@fitwithliz that's why I liked and subbed. So many people who have channels dedicated to fitness and/or diet would not dare to go against the "industry" even if they did believe it works. You are not that type ans I really like that 👍

Sorry but was just wanting to know whether you lived on your own just because I’ve started slimming world and I live on my own and it can be hard trying to cook a meal for just yourself.
Hi I live with my partner and daughter. If you live alone cook a batch and freeze it/ keep in fridge for the next days x

Nah always wash you chicken. Just don't jet wash it in the sink so it splashes everywhere
