It's amazing, that's a feature that shows Jane's Addiction is totally out of schemes, and theese bands are amazing. Simply it's too complex for you to understand ;-), you should listen other bands. NO OFFENCE ;-), because however I think you have good ears if you are here.
Absolutely not trying to offend you, and I may be wrong, but I'm guessing that you weren't alive, or were very very young when this song came out. My theory is that these are the same fans from when this song came out in 1990, and that although they want to jump around, mosh, and employ general mayhem they have since realized that doing so hurts a lot. Injuries take a shit ton longer to heal than it used to when we were 20. We older folk still enjoy our rock, punk, and alternative music.....it's just that our knees hurt. ;)
