- After a full year of my family eating dinner in the breakfast room like ANIMALS, I finally got around to building my double pedestal modern farmhouse dining table™.

Beautiful craftmanship
hands down one of my most favorite diy channels and one of the most wholesome creators on this platform.
That’s high praise! I thought there was bacon left for breakfast and when I opened the fridge it was GONE! I was devastated. But you just made my morning Robert, thank you!
Beautiful
That table is a beast!
It’s huuuuuge!
One thing you got Rick is heart. You gotta have heart. YOU DA MAN RICK!
no you the man!
Loved the stop motion Rick. You're a creative genius.
ha! I intended to do the entire base kit assembly in stop motion...but my remote clicker thingy stopped working midway through and I was too lazy to keep walking behind the camera...!
“Is there a faster way to do that”. The SHOT heard and felt around the world…… lol, well yeah, of course there is. Great video!!!
About time....god WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN????? more content plz :) miss the sarcasm

Hey Rick my bro.. Just found ur channel man.. The table is phenomenal bro. I have questions if u don't mind me asking now..
The table looked so boring in pine until u ???!!! What exactly did u do to get that finish.. It's bloody stunning so please give me the information bcos I want it now.. LMAO..
Did I see that right bcos it looked like the wood had completely changed colour.. Very dark in areas in that beautifully built table bro..
U gotta let me know how u did that bcos It wasn't very apparent in the actual video man..
Sorry but I love the table top so much man. I would love to be able to recreate that finish if u don't mind giving me a heads up on how to do it.... PLEEEEEEEEEEEAAASSSSEEEE!!!! LOL
Sweet job man. If that's ur family bro?? WOW! Lovely family too man. Salute to u Sir and ur family.. That's a stunningly beautiful home u guys have there..
We don't often see homes like that here in IRELAND.. Our houses are not so big tbf.. That's beautiful how u did the walls as well with the panelling bro.. Stunning work man..
Looks damn good Rick!
thanks brother!

Rick,Fabulous job! As the project manager,in this house😉, I would like to inquire about some measurements. What is the base,at its widest point, and the width of the table? We want to use a base from a table that is a whopping 48" wide, but wanting to make ours 40" wide,at the most. The base at its widest point is 36". We are thinking we may have to ditch this idea of reusing a gorgeous solid oak double pedestal base😮💨
Awesome! Glad to have you back. What did you stain/finish the top with? It looks beautiful man.
Thanks! I used the mix from the beginning of the vid, then a DARKER stain afterwards. I'll have to find which stain because I can't seem to remember...
Gostei muito nota 10
I missed the part where you made the pedestals
Is that your backyard out the window?? That looks huge! Just found your channel. Digging the content so far. Cheers!
Came for the instructions, stayed for the dad jokes
I watched cuz i thought u made the base not just the top
Lol
Womp womp
@@DIYwithRick Same here. If I wanted to watch a poor glue up I would go watch my apprentice.
Go to hell Rick. Your work is shit.
i wonder if i can use these legs for a 72inch table, wouldn't be so big? our dining space is very small
Thank you so much
I ask God Almighty to protect your wife and daughters
When did you get all this new equipment? Where have you been?
Wife's work travel schedule has me single parenting 30%+ of the time! This past year throwing all the youtube $$ into TOOOOOLS!
What are the legs called and where do you get them from?
I dare you play ping pong on it and fillm it!!!
lol such a great idea
What are your table top dimensions?
Rick how can I buy this??
that moment your wife realizes just how important you really are. lol
Did the project manager authorize the posting of this video?
Like any good project manager, she screens all content before publishing. Also, I get regular feedback that my videos need more project manager cameos...
...She wasn't very happy when I pulled out the ratchet drill bit, though. hahahah
$2500 for the base? Are you CRAZY?
The pine base is $1300...
Best part of the table? Store Purchased.
To bad the top does not match the quality of the base.
