I am building a similar table but 48" wide. Since i only have a 38" wide sander i went with two 24" wide pieces and glued them after running through the sander. You are correct, pieces get more than heavy in a hurry.
The general rule of thumb is 2 feet per butt. So I’d say your pretty spot on in this case. 5 to each side, and honestly probably 2 at each end. 👍🏽 Thanks for checking out the video!
Hey Donny, my wife and i are still loving the 12 foot farmhouse table you built for us!! text me if you still have my number please. I lost your contact info

Over on Etsy - RayBrosWoodworking. Jason was awesome work with and got them to me in a real timely fashion 👍🏽
What kind of track saw do you have?
I have the Kreg Track saw. Best bang for your buck IMO. Thanks for checking out the video 👍🏽
Hi ? Which brand is the sander your using, thank you
Hey Damian, I’m using the Mirka Deros 6” sander and shop vac combo.
Thanks for checking out the vid!
It looked like this table would sit 12 if a chair was placed on each end, is that correct?
