Old School 4G63 RWD Drift Build Begins!

For our Kia Potentia Drift Car Project, we wanted a manual transmission swap. But there is no readily available bolt on manual tranny for the JE-ZE engine in our neck of the woods. And so we decided to get rid of the otherwise awesome V6 and swap over a more popular powertrain option.
The G63BT engine, basically the very first Mitsubishi 4G63T ever, is older than I am, but should still be a stout platform for drifting duties, even up to national competition level. Plus it comes with a decent manual transmission. Check out our initial work on the engine. There will be a second part to this video for sure. :)
