I've been using UA-cam tutorials for all sorts of crafts for YEARS. I found your videos tonight and you are the first and only person I've ever subscribed to because I want to be able to find you again.
Your tutorials are fantastic, you explain so well, you're not too slow and you don't faff about, you just get straight into the tutorial.
I need to go to sleep now but it's Friday tomorrow, I can't wait until my children go to bed, my husband goes to the pub, and your videos are going on the big TV!
I'm so glad I found your channel.

I was struggling so much with the right side edge. I was about to give up on Tunisian crochet altogether. Then I tried the Tunisian half double crochet and now I'm in love. Perfectly even, no more loose stretched out look. And huge bonus: no curl! It looks similar to the simple stitch, so good alternative to that for me.

Such a great video. I have tried Tunisian crochet in the past but have been frustrated with the edges. My mom made a baby blanket years and years ago with the Tunisian stitch and now that she is gone I would like to make one in honor of her. It’s my goal in 2022 to do that. Blessings 💜💜

OMG! Thank you so much for this video! I have been practicing my Tunisian knit stitch and could not figure out how to remedy the irregularity on the right side - I have been trying to play with tension on the forward pass - it never occurred to me that it was to keep tension on the return pass! You are an excellent teacher, clear and concise. Thank you!

I dropped stitches, I picked up stitches and I haven't even learned how to do that yet. (Over achiever I guess! Hahaha😅) I wish I had watched this first. Love you Toni!❤

Tunisian crochet is something new I’ve incorporated into my ordinary crochet work, it’s perfect for spicing things up.
My only problem is keep the edges straight. It seems like every time I create a new crochet I tend to think, that I’ve made. But actually, when rewatching, I’ve creating something funky. This has to be my problem for Tunisian crochet, too lol!

Toni, those stitch markers are also great for counting out long starting chains. I just insert one every 20 - 25 stitches until the desired length is achieved. Especially helpful if you anticipate interruptions, and as always, great for those beginning and ending stitches. Thanks for all your great advice. I might go back to Tunsian thanks to you!

So glad I found this video. You have answered my question (I've been wondering about) as to why you only pull through one loop to begin your return pass. It's to make a chain st as normally done. (Thinking of it now, that was quite obvious. LOL 😉.) I'm new to Tunisian crocheting, and, I have a question I hope you can answer. How do you start the return pass for a HDC, DC, or, TC row if you have one ? Is it simply chaining more times as you would on regular crocheting ? TYSM for sharing this video with us, and, I hope you're still making your tutorials for us. 😉👍😻.
