- Alastor Mad Eye Moody's wand it one of my favorites!! This is a HEAVY wand. It looks completely hand made from a tree branch and a rock. Its that rough looking.
This wand perfectly represents Mad Eye. The Noble Collection seems to be out doing themselves! I absolutely love this wand and I hope you do too!

Mad-Eye is my favorite character. Aurors are depicted to be the Wizarding World's finest. And for Alastor Moody to be revered so highly, that speaks volumes for his prowess and grit.
Even Voldemort himself acknowledged that when he pursued him first during the Order's exodus from Privet Drive. Nothing short of a killing curse to the face stopped the legendary Auror.
Yes he was bested by the traitor Pettigrew and Barty Crouch Jr., but Crouch Jr. had impersonated Mad-Eye well enough to fool everyone. Mad-Eye most likely would have taught as his imposter did: practically. Had he been a professor, he would have ensured the next generation of wizards and witches practiced the same constant vigilance that had kept him alive until that crucial night.
I write all this because I am currently reading the seventh book. I have read from Moody's introduction to his sacrifice and beyond. I absolutely admire his character. And I greatly appreciate this unboxing of his wand that you've done.
I don't think Ollivander would make such a crude wand. Nor do I think Moody made that wand himself. I like to think that the wand gained its appearance as its wielder did: through years of experience combatting the Dark Arts. They both wear their battle scars proudly, as a display of valor and a warning to dark wizards and witches.

It's an amazing wand! Love it. You won't be disappointed. My favorite wand is so far a tie between he who must not be named and Lucius Malfoy.

Well Sirius is more involved. So there may be more of a likeness to his wand. His wand is pretty detailed. But, as far as wands, I would say Moody's wand is better. It definitely caught me by surprise!
