Vaults Of Fallout - Non-Canon & Cut Vaults | Fallout Lore (Re-Upload)
Вставка
- Опубліковано 1 сер 2024
- Over the years many Vaults have come out of Fallout, however some have not fit the overall narrative of the Fallout Universe and are now listed as Non-Canon Vaults. Some however, never made it into their games at all and are now just concepts that may never see the light of day.
Today we explore these specific Vaults, the games they were linked to and what they might have been if they ever got made. These are the Non-Canon & cut Vaults of Fallout.

Sorry this is a reupload guys. New content soon. Thanks if this is your second time watching it!
I love vault lores! Thank you for creating great videos! :)
Not your fault (not really); UA-cam as a platform just sucks.
Always 👌
Nice
I've got UA-cam red so you'll make more from me rewatching it lol
It's funny that so many vaults are on the west coast considering that in the real world the last place you would want to put something like a vault would be an area as geologically unstable as the west coast.
if you can build a skyscraper, you can build a bunker... the west isnt THAT geologically unstable. the size of earthquake that would actually be a problem would be pretty big, and those dont happen frequently enough to be an issue. compared to the risk of a direct nuclear strike, its a non-issue. the population density on the east coast is much higher, which does support the idea that they should have more vaults, but that also puts those vaults at a higher risk of taking a near direct strike which as previously stated is more of a concern than earthquakes.
@@William-Morey-Baker lmao. What do you think happens when a bunch of nukes go off in an area full of fault line and already prone to earthquakes? In a nuclear war there is a good chance LA would end up sliding into the sea. That's the reason you don't build a fallout shelter there. Why so you thank NORAD command was in the middle of the country instead of on the west coast and closer to the old Soviet Union?
@@oShadowkun nope there are (now decommissioned) missile silos in Oregon but not bunkers and nothing in the more geologically active areas like southern California. And I laughed at your comment cause it is well known that nukes would cause geologically unstable areas to become active. Government bunkers were mainly built in Virginia/west Virginia for government bunkers and Colorado, Montana, etc for military bunkers.
Humans are pretty smart and very good at coming up with solutions to problems. Were also talking about a universe where they are more technologically advanced in nearly every aspect excluding computer science.
@@candlestyx8517 that's true ro a point but if you played in the in the divide you saw they didn't really have a solution to earthquakes.
Used to play gamma world and aftermath rpgs in the 70s and 80s... emerging from your shelter to search for vital supplies and fight zombies... gangs and worse....
50 years later.... still emerging from my shelter doing the same stuff. ...
Fallout Shelter being mentioned in this video made me realize it would be cool to see a video going over the games quests. I haven't played much of it so I never really completed any of the quests but I'd like to see where they went with them.
They were just bad writing and went no where really.
Only New Vegas and 3 was good, the others are tainted
@@truelies9187 1 and 2 were pretty good for the time. The bar was pretty low but they were still pretty good for the time
@@Purriah They're still incredibly well written and enjoyable, if you can get over how dated they look and play.
@@truelies9187 every fallout game has it's ups and down. 3 and NV are two of the best but each one has its own
I like to think that Vault 117 houses just one man who has been kept in cryo for many years, one day being awakened when he's needed
Vault 113 speculation theory: Given the implied importance to the story from the pinball game, could it have originally been how the player character was to have entered the Institute? Travelling first through the cover of a normal vault under MIT, before being let through into the tech center of the Institute? This would have made finding Vault 113 pretty important to the story when you're looking for Shaun in the early game
Or it might've been the original name for 111
Fallout 4 was a bad game.
Fallout Tactics is semi-canon
This has been mentioned by other devs (that aren’t Todd Howard)
Recently it was mentioned in a live stream that it was semi-canon and this matches up with the mentions of it 3, NV, and 4.
Your work is so good I don't mind watching it twice, keep up the great work.
I am happy you gotten to re-upload this one my friend
Fingers crossed it goes okay this time
It's even better the second time around :) Have a good weekend WiseFish!
Black Isle made Fallout 1 and 2, not just Van Buren. Interplay by name basically produced it with Black Isle Studios being the actual developer studio as a division of Interplay. Obsidian was made by some of the key people from Black Isle Studios and New Vegas was able to be made in such a short amount of time because they used a lot of story/lore they had been working on prior for Van Buren. Black Isle also published a a few games, notably quite a few Baldur's Gate games.
A metric ton of these lore videos put up on YT always make it sound like Interplay were the original developers, then Black Isle got brought in later on, and then they act as if Obsidian has little to no connection to Black Isle with New Vegas references "being interesting throwbacks to old games/devs".
Just subbed! Keep the fallout lore videos coming.👍🏽
When I was doing a legion playthough in The Frontier, several people mentioned a vault near Mt Saint Helena. It had something that disrupted technology, such as slave collars
I really wish they would make a sequel to Brotherhood of Steel. I’m kinda board with the open world style gameplay and personally it’s my favorite Fallout game.
Fantastic videos on fallout mate really enjoyed your story telling
If they ever introduce a Vault 2 in a future game, they should lean into the sports nut idea by making it a vault built to house star athletes.
Keep it up bro quality stuff reupload or not
Oh my god, the board game! I was so excited when I heard about it and then I totally forgot about it. I'm gonna have to buy one, for decoration at least.
Good work on the video.
I respect the re-upload because I was gonna watch it again anyways😏
Vault lore is great, I binge them often although I'd like to view lore on characters and quests. Dope videos love the content.
A lot of potentially fun vaults and some blank slates that would've been nice for them to fill out. Great work with this vid! Well played.
Wonderful video ^^
Right off the bat, light shining into a vault entrance.
Always watch your videos twice
Even without Reupload 👍
Love you vids!!
Thank you very much for the strobe warning.
So nice I liked it twice!😁
Listen again, you say? Go on then..
I love the secret vault. Honestly if a mod was made for New Vegas or Four based on the core plot of the Brotherhood of Steel game I think it would be a good one. It answers the question of why Vault tec isn't responding to any of the vaults and how grey the morals of the brotherhood really are.
Watching it again!
damn a bioshock vault would be nice
Cool vaults
About 8mo late to the, discussion, but you could you do a vid on Modded Vaults? Like a small collection of bad and good ones
So did you actually change anything in the video? What got it taken down?
Got rid of the Fallout extreme photos and a image of a dead NPC apart from that I felt the rest was fine.
Wisefish: *tries to guilt shame you about leaving fallout shelter destitute and your vault dying*
Me: Jokes on your I bought a Costco bulk pack of Mr Handies to take care of resource collecting and set up tons of bedrooms and entertainment so my vault is self sustaining and fine
Honestly the Vault 120 inhabitants should’ve been people who worship various weird beings and entities and the experiment was to see if they would come together and worship one common idol - that sentient squid.
Can you do a video on ten penny tower
Yeah, I'm beginning to think that not much thought went into Vault 95 overall...*cough* jet in the chems locker*cough*it's prewar*cough, cough*
I haven't played Fallout Shelter for years... oh dear... hmmm... I wonder if there's any old tech I can salvage from the old vault...
Should have mentioned vault 10 from nuka break
If there isn't some still functioning vault-tec main headquarter vault somewhere then all of the pain and suffering all those people went through was for pretty much nothing
This makes me want to play BOS.
There's another vault 110 but it might be cannon also it's in NC
14:34 Did you mean, not allowing many outsiders in?
Wouldn't it make sense from a lore perspective for Vault Tec to have accepted commissions for private vaults, undisclosed to the general public? That is of course if anyone had the capital to make such a commision. Robert House is the only entity in the series to be a prime example, but he proved his ways made the vaults mostly pointless in the Las Vegas area.
It's almost as if someone went out of their way not to mention vault's 68 and 69
Straight away, Skynet scenario.
Awsome
I feel like more people played these games, even the tabletops, than worked on creating them. Demos Kratos if we remember it than maybe it will always be somebody's Canon.
Extra deets: in the original vault tec survival guide (fo1 instruction manual) they reference Sim-tek. All over. All of this may be Vault Tek simulations. A layer of abstraction that truly remembrances the developers. More on Sim Tek plz
Trinston was here...
Fallout 76 should of had a option to go back into the vault and reprogram the "mister handy" robots.
Vault 120 is now a Reality babbyyyy
The floating eye boy?!
In case you're wondering, at 6:20 this video's narrator said "the floating eye bots", however, the text written on the screen was "the floating eye boy" 👁.
What if they still add vault 65 to fallout 76 maybe it will be in the pitt
don't forget the in joke vault of
vault 69- a vault with 99 women and 1 man.
and (can't remember the number) where it's 99 men and 1 woman
68.
They are canon vaults
Vault 52 video
I don't think Todd Howard should be considered a source for whether or not canon. The guy's an egotistical nutjob. Plus canon...doesn't really matter. But thank you for making this video since most channels won't even mention "non-canon" lore for some reason.
Okay Okay I open Fallout shelter.
I say the fallout tactics robots should
Like okay there’s this tripod sentry then you have this flak machine gun behemoth of a tank and there’s also other robots in the game that are absolutely terrifying the forklift robots and the SAW robot and the PACIFICATION UNIT
Inedible not uneatable
I wish Bethesda Studios would put them back in.
SCIENCE!!!
A comment for the algorithm.
Another vote for mixing Bioshock and Fallout Lore into one great universe of wackiness.
Todd Howard is not an authority on any Fallout game.
Or any game in general.
😂
I'd prefer fallout 420
well actually; most of this vid coulda been cut since it had no content and was mostly unknown #hustleculture
Non-canon would mean that it is not in the Fallout game..... so please do tell me which one of these vaults are not in the Fallout game?
Within the first 45 seconds he explains your very question… then the whole video following answers your question…………. …. ……
Yeah I don’t really get what you’re asking here the first Vault I talk about is in Fallout Tactics and the video is Non-canon and cut vaults. Did you not watch any of the video??
Some of the games aren't cannon
Simple really, when Bethesda acquired the IP they decided what they would carry forward from past games and what they wouldn't.
Calling it Non Canonical is a simple way of saying "don't expect this stuff to come up in the next game"
