Listen, play, train! U'll get it! Bury Me On Smoke is not even that hard. It was the first Down tune I learned and actually one of the first songs I ever learned. Anyways Jim Bower is one of the best drummers when not measured in speed or technicality. But got unique style and the groove many doesn't. Respect!
Sure,i know it ain't the hardest metal song but the timing has to be spot on and there's so many rhythm changes ghost notes etc. it almost becomes harder those technique filled double bass metal drum parts. For me Jimmy is the best out there right now,but that's just my opinion
Jimmy Bower is the king of the swamp shuffle.
I really dig how jimmy is always like....give me two rides and some hi hats and im good. keep it simple and heavy.
TruckerMurph And double kicks have their purpose, but you don't Have to have them to be heavy as fuck...
A trick: watch movies at flixzone. I've been using it for watching loads of movies during the lockdown.
@Eden Ronald yup, have been using Flixzone for since december myself :D
Damn, Jimmy is such a groovy drummer.
Really friggin cool how they just slip the techs in there to finish out the jam! Something I’ve actually never seen before
Jimmy is such a solid fucken musician and a really friendly guy.
