I drove this as a rental car for 2weeks. i hate chevy but i really liked this car, i just want to drive for uber but the gas is not so great. i live in la is hot as hell here and i would only keep the ac on 2 and it would keep the car nice and cold, but i also had tinted windows so it was really nice inside.
The Trax is being produced by both GM Korea and General Motors Mexico for most global markets. Shanghai GM will also be producing the model for the Chinese market from the 2015 model year onward.
I was thinking about buying a used Chev Trax, but found out they dont have a reliable engine! oil consumption at 60 t0 70k. Who says so? Scotty Kilmere. and the repair records of previous owners. its a gamble I have a 2010 Honda insight, " smaller car" has 230k on it and uses about a half a quart between oil changes!
Get ready for very high maintenance and torturous repair bills if you get a Tiguan. Like it or not........I see a lot of 2013 to 2020 Chevrolet Trax vehicles......if Volkswagen is the world's biggest automaker, why not more of those? I'll tell you why.......because more people would trade a Tiguan for a Trax instead. At least a Trax is affordable to fix.
@@dallaswright7324 if the dealer couldn't even fix it, and they charged hundreds each time it went in, doubt it's any cheaper. A two year old City driving trax should not have two engine repairs. Good luck with your trax. My Tiguan gets its regular maintenance and is fine one year later. I also know the owner of the local VW shop and they e always taken care of maintenance. My VW has never left me sit, and if maintained neither will my tiguan
Ehhh...too small for an suv. Hardly NOT my kind of suv by a long shot. It just defeats the whole point of going to an suv from a sedan vehicle. There's nothing on that so-call suv made any sense. It just look funky and way too cramped for comfort. Featurewise NOT that great either.
I was just introduced to my friend's Chevy Trax. When I opened that compartment, she had jumper cables inside a see-through carrying case in there. Both of these items are good ideas.
My favorite part about Road Warrior (other than the grill warfare) is how informative and how detailed the interior reviews are. Great stuff
My daughter has one it's cute and spacy.good on gas and she loves it.
I love the Chevy Trax . I have one
Sandra Mccoy I just got one. I’m in love 😍

How's the car going

I would suggest putting a tire pump in that compartment in the trunk. :)
love your vids.. very detailed. this vehicle packs a punch, I like it.
Great review. You got to the point and stayed on task. You also swayed me into buying one of these. Good job.
Best review ever ❤ thank you so much.
You did a really good job there!

What's more important to start testing is the roof bars! "Oh, where you put the Christmas tree?"
really awesome explaining..
wow great and different review !!!
Thank you so much for this video, I am looking at purchasing one. This video help me with my decision.
this was the best review I've seen for the trax. I disagree about the blind spots ..there are a few with the mirrors
Nice review.
thanks for the look now I can put gas in my Chevrolet trax and hit the road
A good deal at $15,000 with discounts. Or just under $20K with Awd.
Nice :)
I’m looking to buy one of these. Thanks much
Patricia Logan just got one. Absolutely love it
No need to throw it my man.
Cool..
I am not that cool
7:23 you forgot the headrest!! lmao +rep
seeing the backseats makes me nervous about fitting a carseat
I wasn’t to know how to run it in Manual. There is knee clutch on floorboard.
Great review, bro. Is 138hp enough for this vehicle or did it struggle???
nikemac84 We had the Buick version, Encore, and it had allot of torque right off idle and was peppy around town.
It’s plenty of power and gets great fuel mileage. My wife’s 2016 trax averages 32-33 mpg around town and 38-39 mpg on the Interstate
Como puedo poner el lado del bumper del lado izquierdo que tuve un pequeño accidente use bajo..
An informative review. But at 5:11 quick look at the spare tire -- in a puddle of water. Don't leave windows open in rain...
Can you explain to me the difference between a crossover and a SUV? I thought a crossover was a SUV that drives like a car lol
why dose my front to back rails are not open on my roof top of my 2016 Trax LS
I feel like the cargo area is much bigger in this year than mine just a year older with 2015. Is that my imagination?
I can’t figure this thing out. The engine looks like an HP Monitor.
What to do about the rust the muffler rods

Is it ever not raining there? haha
What's the top speed on this vehicle?
Whatever it is don’t try it
@@GrantRoberson I just wanted to know how fast it'll go so I don't go that fast and mess it up.
@@sirhborn 117 mph
lol. older vehicles drive faster than that? But thanks
had to mute this
Me too. He talks too much
Worst car I owned. Just traded it for tiguan.
Nicole Lane why did you trade it? What didn’t you Iike?

Everyone loves their VW until they have to replace a sensor that runs about 900 dollars. 💸@@dallaswright7324
