@@JackNewman-b2x They don't fly under water either, but it doesn't make it any less effective. I have seen them in action in Afghanistan and Iraq and they did great. I doubt they will be doing any fighting on Everest, but we have airplanes for that.

I'll suspect that they also be there during the inauguration of the 47th president when a lot of high value targets are gathered together. And yet I am still bewildered how open and accessible DC remains...

There is no such thing as “Extreme Speed” when it comes to an Apache! In Afghanistan we’d have to slow down 40-50 knots from our normal cruise speed just so they could keep up with us! 😂
Australian Defence Force dumped the Tiger. It was considered by the ADF and the Australian Audit Office as unsafe. It never lived up to expectations and spent more time grounded than flying. There are endless Australian news stories, government announcements and government inquiries arriving at the same conclusions, for those interested enough to google. The Tigers may simply have been a bad fit for Australian requirements. Other countries militaries may be happy with them. IDK

The Eurocopter has a 50 cal machine gun on a pod? So basically, if you want to hit something, you have to be flying towards it and losing elevation?. I'll take the Apache's 30mm gun and its maneuverability all day.
