I remain overwhelmed by the astonishing virtuosity of Josh's playing. It is properly a sort of wonder, endlessly inventive, endlessly precise. Allison's angel-like voice can be allowed to soar over us all. It requires no comment from Earth-bound types such as me. I can only gape, stunned and amazed.

Growing up, IM 68, my dad had some great records in the house. Before I discovered Beatles, Tony Bennet was always on top. I loved these songs, even tho I was only 8 or 9 years old. And of course, I still do. Thanks for keeping awesome music alive.

When I close my eyes and hear this woman sing I imagine being at a speakeasy in Chicago in 1920. Amazing, crisp tone.
Lovely homage to Tony Bennett! I never gave enough credit to how "random" this melody is -- with such a sparse accompaniment (one guitar), it's obviously quite a vocal workout (and Allison handled it FLAWLESSLY)!
This is an outstanding arrangement of a fairly recent jazz piece from 1959, I believe. Josh is exceptional on the guitar, as usual and Allison has that cool 20s/30s style that I love. Thanks to you both for keeping great music alive and well!
Love this song but wow, it's a difficult song to sing and the bluesy guitar is very hard to play, but these two pull it off like the pro's they are. :)

With Tony's death we lost the last great interpreter of the American songbook: Ella, Billie, Judy G, Frank, the Velvet Fog, Nat, Johnny Hartman, others....but the last living genius of American popular music of Tin Pan Alley and the golden age of jazz song was Tony. I love it! Esspecially Allison's confidence makes this piece outstanding from earlier collaborations with Josh where she often seems a little bit shy. She can rock every arena with her voice. Confidence ist fitting her and there ist no question that their version of this song is the right one!
