I hear this song for the first time by these great musicians. Neil Young is not very popular in Turkey. Then I watched the original by Neil Young, and it was really touchy. It looks it has effected a generation very deeply. I've been listening to this since the last 40 minutes over and over again and I realized it's extracting the love from your heart and resonates very strongly. It's magical. Maybe the most magical song ever.
Josh Turner, the most talented and creative of this loose band of fine musicians. Follow the links and you’ll see these people pop up in a myriad of settings and songs with each other and several others in this expanding musical network.
There's so much beauty in this clip... the harmonies, the perfect pace, the individual talent and the scene in the background. It's jawdroppingly mesmerizing!
I am a Neil Young fan but I have to say that this is my favorite interpretation of Harvest Moon. These guys are great together but it seems they don't always play together- they should think about doing that. I especially love the voices and the 4 note guitar riffs that run through the song. I'm 72 but I still appreciate a great performance and what a wonderful setting for doing it. I'm surprised that you get such great sound quality doing it outdoors but clearly you know what you are doing! Congratulations and good luck!
There are certain things that are good to be alone and also to be with someone else. Not all of us have the same balance. For me, it weighs on the side of being alone, but not completely. Relationships have their problems too. I'm sure this is no news to you and it's not like I or others haven't had their lonely times. Be yourself. Know that you are special. You have qualities others are not only looking for but also need. From what you wrote I don't know exactly from what angle you're coming from, but having been "there", God always got me through. I don't go to churches for my reasons, but I'm not ashamed of God that I can't deny.

Yeah... What he said.
From an old fart down Texas way Diggin on you kids.
100% agree
This is really good
From another kinda old guy, seconds on what Randy said!
+Randy Henry I totally agree. Josh Turner and his crew are some remarkable young
musicians. They're paying homage to the icons who inspired them and doing it right.
Their own music is excellent, but to hear and see them perform this song in such a
reverent fashion gives me more hope for the future of real music. Like, played by
human beings!
I never get tired of watching this video.
I feel peace and tranquility. It cost!!!
The thing I like most about this cover is that everyone contributes their part beautifully and nothing more.
I'm Italian from poor Europe. Listen this beautiful song becaming a piece of art, woke up something nostalgic and so damn human in me!! I think that's life... I'm crying a bit, can you please excuse me? 😢
Perchè "poor Europe"?
I don't know why this song does the same to me. I tear up too.
@@brucewagner4394 Some songs are just that way. For me, they make me reminisce of simpler times when the world was much calmer, more united & far less complicated
If there is nostalgia in your soul, this will awaken it.
This live performance blows away any live performance of crazy horse
it just caught my ears immediately!
_it may_
_not every one has the same tuning_
Shure! Lots of love from Russia!
For a brief moment,my inner struggles melted away...........thanks guys❤
I hear this song for the first time by these great musicians. Neil Young is not very popular in Turkey. Then I watched the original by Neil Young, and it was really touchy. It looks it has effected a generation very deeply. I've been listening to this since the last 40 minutes over and over again and I realized it's extracting the love from your heart and resonates very strongly. It's magical. Maybe the most magical song ever.
I think you are ready to hear the entire Harvest Moon album. It is magical.
One of the most beautiful songs ever. These guys did a great job of keeping the haunting sweetness of the original.
AYDIN'IN DÜŞÜNCELERİ 💓very astute observations.
Yup, Neil Young is that deep and that good. Go back and listen... and listen to all these folks wonderful covers. You can get lost for days on end.
May I recommend Neil Young's contemporaries and former collaborators ; Crosby, Still and Nash.
Real music, real instruments, real talent. So refreshing.
Love the bass in this cover. That bass player knows what he's doing. Neat to watch.
John Smith makes such a difference with that swing in the low end.
Well Josh Turner is no ordinary bassist :D he sure does know what he's doing
@@SuperRambo111 Absolutely!
More Josh bass

Josh Turner, the most talented and creative of this loose band of fine musicians. Follow the links and you’ll see these people pop up in a myriad of settings and songs with each other and several others in this expanding musical network.
if Neil Young was to hear this l think he would be proud
So do I
andreah53 agreed
Dude on drums is bloody fantastic, as they all are, but that dude nailed that
I agree!
Dittos! 💜
Rubbing your tummy and patting your head and singing all at the same time 😎
This performance is one of the best and most beautiful UA-cam music videos I know of.
I’m gonna agree 100%
@@delocon36 your OK just like
Also the version by Foxes and fossils is really good to.
Totally agree. My favourite version of this song.
is not, the bass is way too loud, I had to use a stethoscope to hear the harmonica!!
There's so much beauty in this clip... the harmonies, the perfect pace, the individual talent and the scene in the background. It's jawdroppingly mesmerizing!
Absolutely right about the perfect pace.
I would have had the girl singer in duet with the drummer.
alas, short lived
This whole album is mesmerizing !!
I bought it last night .....
Habe selten eine so fantastische Version gehört und gesehen. 🙏🙏🙏
Wow. You 4 are the best thing happening in the world of music currently. Thank-you!
Tom Noble agreed!
it's refreshing for sure
Totalmente de acuerdo.
@@David-sr8nt de acuerdo
So true
I am a Neil Young fan but I have to say that this is my favorite interpretation of Harvest Moon. These guys are great together but it seems they don't always play together- they should think about doing that. I especially love the voices and the 4 note guitar riffs that run through the song. I'm 72 but I still appreciate a great performance and what a wonderful setting for doing it. I'm surprised that you get such great sound quality doing it outdoors but clearly you know what you are doing! Congratulations and good luck!
I didn’t realise the drummer had such a amazing voice.
Carson Mckee
Guy Fieri I have a major crush on cid...
Carson has his own channel definitely makes some great music
Carson is the best
I saw hin singing first and was surprised he played the drums as well
Fun knowing Elle for her shorts and coming across her incredible talent and voice with one of my favorite songs.
When these four perform together... MAGIC happens.
Not just saying this. I typically don’t care for covers, especially ones from my favorite artist. But you guys nailed it!! ❤️👍🏼
It's all about finding those who respect the art behind the music.
Im speechless !!!!! So well done !!!!
They NEiled it! :)
@@uros3676 Lol ! Very clever !!!
I clapped at the end. It's 1:am . I'm alone right now , but I clapped anyway. Good job !
me too. x
F me you are right to clap !
They are genius !
Austin L. Her voice is so soft...

I'm 69. Harvest came out two weeks after I turned 18! These young people were barely alive when Harvest Moon came out in 1992. Wow! I'm impressed and I'd bet Neil would think the same.
Just wanna give this song (and band) so many likes... why only one
share it! ;-)
Freakin no way. I listen to this song every night while going to bed. So surprised and so happy
Is that mom and her kids ?
I love it too.
Pace yourself, jessegro4 :-)
jessegro4. I should copy your splendid habit. This is a relaxation chill pill.
Yep - I've done 3 nights now and I'm starting to look forward to it. More please!
You play with such respect for the music you've all inherited. The great American songbook is safe with you. Bless your talents!
Was WRITTEN AND COMPOSED BY NEIL YOUNG FROM TRONTO,CANADA. BUT YEAH..GREAT SONGS TOUCH OUR HEARTS BY NEW YOUNG TALENT. CHEERS

Holy-smoke, what a beautiful performance. 😊
Dogs and a flowing river in the background. Couldn't paint a better picture.
It's too beautiful a coincidence that my 2 favourite duos come together and sound so amazing. Love Reinas voice and when Carson kicked in I was just in Sunday mode, chilled. Thank you.
Exactly my sentiments Al d...... and two of my favorite songs, Harvest Moon & Operator. I'm buying a lotto ticket tomorrow.
Great
Add to that: the beauty of Josh’s presence...his musicianship is impeccable 💖👍🏻
@@shrubhater Of course Josh and Toni contribute greatly too, as always. All four are wonderful musicians with great voices.
Al d...yep, I agree.
This will never stop being my favorite cover of "Harvest Moon." Stellar in every single way.
Really? My favorite is this one by Foxes and Fossils: ua-cam.com/video/xA0Vl0gre6U/v-deo.html
Vitamin String Quartet's instrumental version still makes me cry.
That's rad
What a beautiful interpretation of Neil’s tune. The mellow harmonica solo was sooooooo smooth ♥️♥️♥️
I hope that the four of you know how much joy and solace this song (and others from you) have brought to so many of us in this pandemic nightmare.
You guys are slowly becoming my favorite band of our times, track by track and chord by chord. Keep playing your music guys, we love you all!
Have you had the opportunity to listen to Josh and Carson's other project called The other favourites? You won't regret it.
@@KilgoreTrout-vo7uy Yes, I'm an old fan of both Josh and Carson and reina and Tony, and my comment was an implied exhortation to get a name for their quartet and starting thinking at themselves as a band because they are a fantastic one!
@@marcoguitar true! I wish they would formally tour as a band and come to my country as well.
Rogue Valley in Oregon
The restraint, the acoustic slide, beautiful vocals.. too many people try too hard with covers- this is beautiful - love the sound of the river. Amongst all that’s wrong in the world it’s amazing how sincere music can improve your day. Thanks Oregon.
This song is so heavenly, it makes me cry tears of joy every time I hear it. Especially this version sung by this fine young people.
thanks so much for this one - not a dry eye in the house because this is the last song I played for my mother before she passed a few months later it was her favorite song .
Saw this about a year ago thought it was great now I can’t get enough of Elle (Reina) Cordova and Toni lingren and when Carson and josh team up with them it’s just excellent carry on gang
Why did they change their name?
I keep coming back to this one 2 years later in 2022 because everything about this recording and setting is classic and oh so magical ❤️
The music, the chemistry, the atmosphere and background, all just so beautiful.
Little known factor - the tone quality of Josh and Carson's falsetto is exceptional.
I’m not sure what I loved more, the gorgeous cover or life happening in the background!
I totally agree.
Marjorie Vandyke It was all good.🌞
i feel the same
It was the music Lady !!!
My best friend and her husband sang this at my husbands funeral. Perfectly captured our romance.
I was obsessed with this cover a few years ago, and today listening to it again, I remembered why
Hearing the young generation sing a classic well is fantastic!
This actually made me tear up. Didn't see that one coming when I clicked.
This got me tearing up too!

Meee tooo
Well done! Drummer's got a good voice. I started teaching myself guitar at 40. And this was the first song I learned...
Referring to Carson as the drummer, hahaha. Check out the Josh Turner guitar channel, they're both amazing singers and versatile instrumentalists!
Thank you children. You will do better now, as you have more power. From a great grandpa who was in music many years.
Keep coming back to this wonderful performance. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve watched it now. ❤️
If "stardust" had not been written this would have been the most beautiful song of all time
