Why does no other coach talk about anatomy! This makes complete sense. You genuinely deserve 1 a million subscribers. They’re accounts at 200k, 300k & more that just talk utter rubbish. Incredible work Giles
Great video Giles . Interesting new stuff about the eyeline. So for a right-eye dominant player , we tilt the right eye lower than the left and along a slightly right of target eyeline? And watching back of ball with the right eye? Thanks
Good tips. The grip one especially I am going to try with my new driver that is having more of a fade bias than my previous. However I fail to see the logic how these tips increase clubhead speed.
If you have the correct grip then you’ll be able to utilise your wrists correctly which are a major power source. As well as this you’ll able to square the face meaning you won’t have to stall your body to make compensations. Also due to the arm being in internal rotation at address you’ll be able to rotate the lead arm externally through impact which again adds speed into the clubhead. So yes it will increase speed if done correctly
Do you have any drils to stop sliding ? Its doing my head in. Im up to around 112-115 with normal swing ( Where i slide ) And around 0 attack angle or a bit down When trying to stay behind and really hit up, i loose ALOT of clubhead speed. I just cant seem to not slide, and when i do, i loose a ton of power
Sounds like something is off earlier on in the swing. Lots of drills out there but for the the feeling will be along the line of rotating more with less lateral and keeping the upper body stack on lower
Harry Hall's comment is typical of viewers of your channel. They all rave about you!! This time, you called out the example of the greatest ball striker since time began. The incomparable Ben Hogan. Better than Tiger. Better than Jack. At least, from tee to green. In respect to ball striking , Hogan is the template for all time. He was the only man who couldn't play a course twice in the same day because he'd be hitting out of his own divot marks in the second round!! Your heavy emphasis on shoulder alignment shows how important this is for shot shape and distance. Ho Hum. Another great video. Keep them coming.
Hi everyone, what’s the longest drive you’ve ever hit?
About 300 downwind in the summer
300 total distance on the range with inrange premium ball conversion, one of those elusive pure strikes, 80+% are high power fades or low duck hooks.
@@andymat7359 those are the ones that keep you coming back
270 carry just wish I knew how to do it all the time lol your video is a great start 😎👍😎👍
@@lukeedmans1954 thank you!

I don’t know but you’re right you need to know the anatomy to be a good coach. Thank you
Thanks, Gilles. Teaching very well.
My pleasure!
Great stuff Giles, this is ao much better that the standard "Tilt the sternum back" Nice one!
That tip grinds my gears 😂 glad you liked this

@@Gilesgillgolf Aha. I never realized that external rotation through impact added speed, Nice!

Does this set up work with irons or just the driver 🤔🤔
Not head tilt but arm positioning yes

Giles I know a subtle change makes a BIG difference. I will let you know if it’s just another video saying you can hit it farther or not
It works, got plenty of case studies to prove it 👍🏻
