Hi everyone, after helping tens of thousands of golfers by far the most common issue I see is poor low point control. This video directly address that issue. If you have questions then please ask away
Another awesome teaching video! I'm sure I speak for many when I say how I appreciate you sharing your golfing instruction with us! Keep up the great work!
Really really really good lesson. Very indepth & highly valuable. The golfing world is in good hands if you’re leading the way of high quality instruction for decades to come
As a beginner golfer this is the hardest part of the swing for me. Thanks for the tips and drills I will work on this and hopefully start making consistent contact.
@@Gilesgillgolf i can understand chest opening early pushing club off to the right causing shank. But how does open face cause shank as i cannot visualize club pushed a bit to right making contact with heel with face being open. Any thoughts on that?
Honestly no bull, I’ve tried to find the answer to why I’m struggling to make solid contact. Thins/ heavy very little compression.. Yet I’ve found this fantastic video on UA-cam with Giles, So I’ve been to my club & hit 50 or so balls & without a lie, I’ve never hit the ball so well & finished target side, weight on my left side, I’m over the moon. so thanks m8 for a great tip on how to get your weight forward & solid contact..👍
Hi Giles, your instructions are very very good. I am 85 years old and still love to golf. It is very hard for me to do the compression move you describe and wondering if there is an alternate for people with restricted movement, like moving the ball more back in the stance or something else??
Moving the ball back will cause you to throw your angles so no. Think more of the impact alignments I spoke about and what the easiest way possible it is for you to get back into that position
Hi Giles- best video so far for me - the box number and forearm piece is working for me - well after about 250 balls on the range - will take some more but definite improvement although Still not sure I’m taking a divot -hard to tell on a mat- similar vid for hybrids , woods and driver would be good - assume they differ somewhat?
After trying various methods the only trigger that works for me for transition to down swing is to press my right foot ball point to shift the pressure to left foot ball point for low point shifting is this okay? Advice is welcome thanks
Great video like always but can you do part 2 as sometimes i find i get my hands to far forward coming into impact and then i get into trouble. Cheers✌️
As you shift down and forward with lead side/shoulder. Do you try to keep your head back or will it naturally follow the lead shift? Hope that makes sense.

Yes, part 2 please! I learned so much from your videos.
Thank you! Amazing to hear you’re learning from my content
Very useful video. Tried the box drill at the range today and saw some good results! I add my vote for the part 2 video when you can. Thanks!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it & that the drill helped
Love your training video and yes would like a part two

Thank you so much! Comments like this keep me coming back
The chalk and hula hoop visuals are top notch. Best coach on UA-cam. You should have 1 mill subs easy
Thank you so much I'm glad you appreciate the visuals and find my coaching helpful
Solid video...thanks for being so thorough!
Glad you enjoyed it

Thank you Harrison! Hope I do
Of course part 2. You are so clear and informative.
Thank you Chris!

Good luck! Hope these key points & drills help
Great coach & I love the hula hoop. Great explanation
Thank you Harry
Definitely can use the part 2 of the video!!!
Will do
Brilliant video again! Love to see part 2
Thank you!
Yes would love to see the part 2 on the arms
Thank you!
Great vid as always 👌🏼 part 2 please 😊🏌🏼♂️
Thank you!!
Great useful video Giles. Part 2 pls
You got it
Great devices for visuals and feels. Part 2, please
Will do! Thank you!
Yes part 2 for hands please. Also wrist movements. Personally for me when i try to get to box 1 i tend to shank the ball. ☹️
Chances are you’re opening your chest as you do it. Hands must stay in box 1. Other alternative is your face is too open

@@LaLaLand11111221 an open face causes shanks because when the face is open you expose and lead into contact with the heel of the club

That is amazing! So glad to hear that your game is turning a corner!
Hi Giles I am 65 and play off 2 but I have always “picked” the ball. Every time I attempt to do this I pull the shots left. Can you help?
Can be a whole load of reasons but yes I can help

Can staking on the left side work or stepping forward during the forward swing work?
@@jerryradu1844 that’s what stack & tilt is
@@gordonisbell2308 I don’t research them but I have backswing videos on it
Great video
Thank you
If this applies to hybrid also?
Yes it does

For hybrid and woods it’s the same but low point is different for drivers. I have a video coming out this weekend on the woods
After trying various methods the only trigger that works for me for transition to down swing is to press my right foot ball point to shift the pressure to left foot ball point for low point shifting is this okay? Advice is welcome thanks
You’ll be pushing off your right foot extremely hard so chances are you’ll be early extending. Sounds like a cover move for earlier faults
Part 2 please
Will do!

Of course! Do you see a lot of thin shots and blocked shots when you do this?
@Gilesgillgolf more blocks then thins but yes I do.
Thanks for the reply.
@@twisted13 no problem
Yes on the Hands part 2.
Will do

No it goes forward
Please doing Part2. I’m all wacky in the downswing.
