- Today well be trying out the cheapest TPMS that can be found on Amazon, so expect a degree of disappointment. I'm not going for gold here. We will however be conducting a standard unboxing and installation, review of the software and hardware and find out if it makes the cut. It will be installed on the example bike today, a Yamaha Vstar 1100, though the bike for such a device is insignificant to the testing.

Yea at least it works check the settings to turn off the alarm and just set the valves over the highest yyou want for both and the lowest you want and you can check them to see if they are where you want them and if it goes to low you will know….
In the meantime they have updated the software, there is a low and high limit for the front and rear tires👍
The second nut is not for theft protection it is called a jam nut, which is a locking system to avoid the sensor from coming off as you are riding the bike.
The whole device is garbage... imho.
I had this TPM system app on my phone. When my phone got damaged, I was unable re program the sensors to my new phone because I didn't have the paper to re scan the codes again.
They don't tell you that you need to keep the scan code in order to reprogram them to a new phone.
This seems to do what it was intended to do. Sure the interface isn't refined but it seems legit. I'm gonna pick up a pair.
I have three bikes and would like to be able to monitor all three on the phone. Is there a way that this app, or any other app you know of, monitor more than one bike?

This is the only one ive researched so far.
Taking into consideration the size/weight of the sensors did you have to rebalance your wheels?
No for this test I did not, good point though.
