  • Come along as I install the SYKIK Rider SRTP300 wireless tire pressure monitoring system on my Harley-Davidson 2021 Sport Glide motorcycle. Be Aware that the handlebar mounting bracket that is included in the kit won't fit the 1.25" handlebars. Instead, I purchased a much nicer chrome handlebar mounting bracket that works and looks great. I'll show you the complete motorcycle TPMS installation and more...
    For more information on the SKYKIK Rider SRTP 300 and the WOWTK 1.25" Handlebar bracket here are some *links.

    You probably know this by now but the temperature is for each tire not the outside air!
    Thanks for the video! The directions that came with the brand I bought were not great!

    Nice video. I had used a similar one but a different brand. What I like about the one I got is that the sensors weigh 0.2oz with battery installed because I'm running rubber stems on my 2019 road glide. As for the handlebar mount it will not clamp completely around the handlebar and plus the mount bolt was to short. I went to ACE and got the same type of bolt but longer for $0.69 and it worked like a charmed.

    Thanks for all the videos you've been doing on your bike. I picked up a Sport Glide and your content has been really helpful. First thing I did are the Kuryakan floor boards (part 5908). They are awesome. All of the vibration of the foot pegs are gone. I'm a bit taller than you, so my riding position is more cramped with them on, which means I need to get a tall boy seat to try and get more leg room since my feet are now angled forward, but I think they'll probably fit you perfectly. Definitely recommend. Felt firmly planted the entire time. Despite being tall, the only install position that makes sense given the other foot controls is to have them all the way back. I also have to move my shifter up because my boot could no longer fit under it. Very simple to do, though.

    Hey how’s it going? do you happen to know if this is okay for use on rubber valve stems? Thank you

      Seems to be working just fine on mine. The manual makes no mention of the type of value stem.

    couldnt really see much of the valve part installation, and whyon earth would you install it at 9 oclock on the wheel and not 3 oclock#?

    How do you keep it weather tight with a detached charging cord?

    • @ToddsProjectsandOutdoorJournal

      It has a plug that goes in the hole.

      @@ToddsProjectsandOutdoorJournal Maybe it's just me but I think it's silly to charge a battery from a battery instead of just connecting a hard wire and have it turn off with the ignition. Or am I missing something?

    • @toddwmeyer
      @toddwmeyer Рік тому

      @@aeasus Maybe I misunderstood your question. The monitor automatically shuts off when the bike is inactive and comes back on with any vibration or movement. One charge to the unit will last the entire riding season. It will only need to be recharged a few times per year. The unit has a plug that fills in the charging port when not in use to keep it weather tight. Click on the link in the video for all the specs and photos on the product. Hope this properly answers your questions. Thanks for watching...

      @@toddwmeyer "One charge to the unit will last the entire riding season." was the answer to the question I did not ask, but wanted :) That completely changes my perspective on the product's usage. TY for that.

    Hey Todd let us know how it works when you are out for a ride, a fellow rider told me he installed one and the caps on the stems put his wheels out of balance , I find that hard to believe but just asking for some feed back. Happy riding. On another note can you do a video on that Bluetooth controller you have installed, I would like to know more about it. Thanks

      Your mate is likely correct. These sensor caps aren't very light... I've just fitted mine and it wouldn't surprise me at all if I will have to have my wheels rebalanced.
      They should really include a stick on counter weight to stick on the wheel directly opposite the valve.
