I have the same issue with mounting it on my dash, the display faces downward and if I mount it at the top of my windshield the solar panel is blocked by the windshield tint strip !!! Looks like I'll be returning mine !!! Great video !!!
I kept mine attached in the blue tint area. It was fine but it fell 2 separate occasion when it was really hot outside and when the car was parked under the sun the whole day. It probably soften the glue. I was able to re-attached it and was fine after that. What I do not like about it is that it is too sensitive that would turn on in a slightest vibration it detects so I turn it off when I don't need it or it would run out of battery as it keeps turning on when a car drove past or someone touches your car.
@@craftwanderer8802 As long as it's under the sun the solar charges the battery. I have no problem filling the tire. Procedure is the same with the addition of removing the small hex screw.

How has it been after all this time?
The battery died. The seller sent me a replacement but I haven't got the chance to install it.
@@diymanual does the solar charging works when the car is parked and the tmps module is turned off? and how easy is it to pump your tyres?

I have this for my electric trike but I haven't installed it yet. I had it five days but I'm not in any hurry if I wait a month.
@@diymanual you can get rechargeable batteries cheap just replace it with a better brand like Panasonic.
Do you need to charge before you use
It came charged I think to 70 or 70 percent so you can set it up right away but I did charge it to 100 percent before setting up.
