On rescue operations I've watched helicopter pilots employ the ground effect many times. The most obvious are the MH-65 Dolphins. Come zooming in and down then about 50 feet up it's like they have landed on a hard surface. Then daintily select just the right location and direction orientation they set it down.

I think it´s a Piper PA-25 PAwnee. The Air Tractor is a turboprop and bigger airplane.
Ooops, yeah you're right, I had no clue! I thought these were one and the same :)
Not an Air Tractor (it's a Piper Pawnee), no ground effect...
Oops, fair enough, changed title to match now that I know air tractor is a different airplane than this tow plane.
