    Absolutely great video DOCTOR. Thank you for the info. Two questions. What kind of fasting? How long of a fast? Would eight hours window of eating and a 16 hour of fast be considered a good fast?

    Is low carb basically a fasting mimicking diet? I try to stay under 50 grams of carbs.

    After reversing a T2D with low carb and 16/8 or Imad IF I lost 30 kg over 1 year and am continuing this life style over the last 6 years.
    In my case, I am unable to follow IF without low carb. If I increase my carbohydrate intake I have hunger pangs and feel weak. I am obviously insulin resistant and unable to follow IF on a high carb diet
    For me, IF is an addition to a 100g low carb diet and not an alternative

    Combo Is better but how many carbs amount is for a Low Carb diet? 125g?

      A good rule of thumb is 100g or less. But it honestly depends on level of activity. With exercise and lots of movement, you can do more.

      @@-Ufo_Abduction- Also everyone is different, and many have some metabolic issues which are being resolved on LC/IF. I see it as a toolkit. If wanting to lose weight, use more tools - such as occasional two-day fasts, even lower carbs OMAD, etc. Avoiding inflammatory seed oils, and oxalates is also in the range of diet health improvements.

    What's your definition of fasting? 16 hours a day? Intermittent fasting? Long term fasting? You didn't say, so I'm confused. Without some parameters on fasting, this video is pretty much useless, unfortunately. It was a key point you forgot to make. 😞

      Hey Wellness Warrior, maybe you havent seen any of my other videos but I have talked about this in length for years. Fasting in my book is 16:8 or more.... So that could be a 24 hour fast, 48 hour fast, or even 72 hour fast.
      Point being is fasting will yield better results for those who are insulin resistant.
