@@malvolio01 My guess is that he's trying to say that he's speaking as a Libertarian. A lot of people consider "As an X" to be a coherent and grammatically complete statement about their own personal identity. I think that that's what this guy is doing and that the comma is meant as a period. A lot of people think that periods are for the end of paragraphs and that fully stated ideas can just be linked with commas. When you match up multiple grammatical errors, sometimes the result is a coherent sentence that is intended to mean something quite different from what standard grammatical maxims tell us it does mean.
A bunch of technical issue so they Amazon have to suddenly end the whole contract without actually telling what those that serious technical issues are. Yeah, right...
I agree with Glenn about Parlor, but I disagree with his libertarian view that people should be free to make whatever choices they want as long as they're adults. People's destructive choices don't happen in a vacuum, they will boil over and cause problems the society around them.
Yes. Unbelievable BS hand waving from Nick about the most significant restraint of trade in generations. Rockefeller would have loved it for his Standard Oil as it stomped the life out its competitors by cutting off rail access: ‘they had technical problems’. You could sure see this interviewer's bias. When Glen would bring up an argument that didn't go along with his viewpoint, he would interrupt him. I came to the same conclusion. The left THINKS it supports individual rights, holding elites accountable, freedom of speech, etc, but in reality they only support those things when it is politically advantageous. They readily throw them out the window when it suits them. Sort of like tolerance and diversity. Tolerance for the groups and ideas they like. Diversity only includes the groups they select. Absolutely zero tolerance for opinions that do not hold. Zero diversity of opinion. Very big irony.
The establishment hijacks and corrupts every organisation we (real leftists) start to try and fight back. We've been pushed to the fringes now, and find we have more in common with principled righties than we do with whatever the hell passes for an ideology in the Dems' cultural and political sphere these days.

This was a highlight for me as well. The establishment left have essentially just settled on a strawman version of Tucker’s argument. Not only is it frustrating, it’s also a little disorienting and perhaps somewhere in its core intentionally so. You find yourself wondering if you were the one who heard it wrong. Tucker very explicitly points to the democrats’ own messaging and yet this gets turned around and thrown back on him. If you don’t actually watch his show ever, you won’t know the difference. There’s a lesson to be learned methinks.
Wasn't it said in court that Tucker Carlson could be seen as entertainment so shouldn't really be taken seriously on everything? Him and Hannity are exactly the same as anyone else on MSNBC and CNN. Democrats and the left only currently have the luxury of pretending not to care about immigration. It’s the standard empty virtue signaling of course when meanwhile they are arguably more territorial and tribalist than the right. Evidence for this abounds from the “autonomous zones” of 2020 to their preoccupation with racial categories and gender. In fact most if not all people require some sense of cultural identity or boundary. Nationhood just happens to be broad and benign enough to satisfy this need for the largest number of us. Democrats however thrive on division and breaking people up into various, ever increasing categories it seems. “The right” then becomes increasingly defined as the bogeyman by necessity.

Love Greenwald, can’t blame him for wanting to get his message out to as many people as he possibly can. I love that he uses the corporate media platform to harshly criticize corporate media platforms and their partisan bullshit. Would love to see him on Trevor Noah as much as he does Carlson, that would give him more matched coverage and help get his message out to people that really need it.
You do understand that The Daily Show is NOT a news show right? It’s supposed to be a comedy show. But Trevor Noah is about as funny as a stick in the mud. And he’s not a journalist. He’s a failed comedian.

The left is non negotiable now. They have lost reason and accountability and traded that for violence and looting
The establishment hijacks and corrupts every organisation we (real leftists) start to try and fight back. We've been pushed to the fringes now, and find we have more in common with principled righties than we do with whatever the hell passes for an ideology in the Dems' cultural and political sphere these days.

Agree how can he have tds, he's warped by media propaganda, he can't cut the cable
Nick's not listening for the answer. He's waiting to put in his 2 cents. He's terrible.

Tucker’s view is for traditional family values and has nothing to do with race . He is calling out the hypocrisy in politics and other media news. He believes in following the law in regards to immigration. I do too. Tulsi goes on fox too even though she’s a democrat. She gets asked to go on and the left medias don’t ask her. Probably because she does fit their narrative. She believes like Greenwald that Americans need to hear their views on whatever platform.
Tulsi has been _persona non grata_ to the Left since she sank Harris's presidential run on national TV. She wasn't warmly embraced before then, but she's been a pariah since.
Linda - Agreed. Additionally, and Tucker has said this numerous times, he is not opposed to LEGAL immigration but is horrified by the lawlessness of an open southern border.

Its that same standard formulation: first they deny it and call you a crazy conspiracy theorist, then at some point they pivot and say “actually that’s precisely what is happening, and it’s good.”
