This drone has been a game changer. I film a lot by myself so I bought this one and if they ever made one with 4k one that can shoot log profile I would buy that one too. Real game changer for a solo travel UA-camr.
I agree 100%. I’ll bet the next version will have 4k, but in the meantime the image quality is still damn good. I upscale my footage to 4k using my editing software and get great results.
This is all 100% spot on! The only thing I would suggest is to experiment with different lav mic placement to hide the mic from the camera. Test your own use. Your own voice volume, amount of movement and type of clothing will impact everything. Back of my collar is one of my go to solutions for me. Test, test, test.
Glad to see you again and you sound healthy and back to normal, hooray 🎉 Thanks for the videos on your new drone. I hope it brings you many years of enjoyment.

You have to make sure you are somewhere inside. I had the problem too when I recorded with sound but tried to download it when being outside just holding the Hover. But when I get home and place it on a surface close to the phone all goes well

Nice video! I don't like the idea of having a wire showing, but wired connections are always more reliable, then wireless connection partucularly on audio. My question is, how do u get the drone to stand still and not follow you? Could you tell me please?
The wireless mics are all line of sight so once you put the phone in a pocket the connection degrades. If you want the camera to stay in one spot just set it to “hover mode”. It will rotate to follow you but stay in the same spot. Hope this helps!
i was wondering if you could give me instructions on how to record audio i start the drone on hover and it doesnt record my voice even when im holding my phone right next to my face. am i missing a step?

my X1 flys well, using fw 7.2.1, my Galaxy S20ultra records sound with wireconnected USB mic from sennheiser with good results, BUT: the sound is asynchronous, 2s20 too late. In NLE I can restore synchronicity by hand, but at the end, this 2 seconds 20 frames of sound are missing, the end of the video is without sound. Any idea, how to avoid this?
I'm sorry my friend. I haven't experienced that problem. Are you running the latest firmware? I'm at a complete loss as to why you are missing sound at the end. I would try contacting the company.
If I move the soundtrack by 2 seconds, then they are missing at the end of the video. I reported this to zerozerosupport and am still waiting for a response. And yes, latest Update 7.2.1.
I don't own Airpods but my experience with other wireless microphones is that the sound quality is pretty bad. If you try it let me know if it works and how it sounds.
I'm team Android since 1999 (not sorry), I have the Galaxy 6 watch and Galaxy live buds and I just got my Hover 2 days ago and have ZERO issues with simply using my Bluetooth buds (even the Bose QC work well) while flying it. Sound syncs 100%, no delay, or wires. Now IF I need a jack, I still use the Galaxy s10 Plus BECAUSE it has a jack.
Solution asynchronous sound I have found the cause that leads to the asynchronous sound error. If I switch on manual mode in the app, I first have to press the start button on the drone, wait until it is hovering in the air and only then I have to press the black round record button in the app so that the recording starts. Then in this recording the video and audio are synchronous. If I press the record button in the app earlier, the sound will not be synchronous. This error is reproducible at any time. reported it to zerozero, perhaps they will fix this bug, hope so.
I just did a test with the voice recording set to “on” and it works fine. But I did do a test by going out of the app and the sound doesn’t work. So you need to keep the Hover app open for the sound voice recording to work. Just thought I would mention it.
It seems so. I’ve tried turning off the screen but when I do that it doesn’t record sound. If the screen goes to sleep on its own then it doesn’t seem to matter. I need to play with it some more but I would recommend leaving the screen on when you put it in your pocket. Seems like an easy fix for Hover with a future firmware update.
