This truly is amazing! I love it! My son is a realtor and makes videos for his website. This would be perfect for him. Great seeing you again and looking forward to what you will bring next.
@@weekendwanderer5514 -- the only thing to be careful is that the X1 needs to "see" the floor, so good lighting really helps. I got that from a user facebook page.
My wife just got one and we are looking to film dancing, probably using the circular motion. One issue we are having is getting good sound quality through her Iphone - still working on it. However, it is an amazing tool! Thanks for your videos - they are speeding up our learning process!
A very enjoyable video, the flying camera looks like a great bit of kit. As hard as you tried you couldn't confuse or befuddle it,it tracked you everywhere. It'll be interesting to see how it works out long term with battery life etc. The sound difference really is remarkable, like night & day,it's that good. Looking forward to more videos with your new AI cameraman.
C you're looking amazing my friend! As usual I didn't get notified about this video despite subbing and clicking the bell. No email. I just signed in to YT, which I don't often do. The Rode mic worked great and good job on the audio sync from the little drone footage in post. Great editing as always. Remarkable little flying camera. You should take it on the AT. I really look forward to more videos from you with this G.A.S. I haven't been out with my drone for months. A fellow Melvin.
Thanks Matt. It’s a nice little piece of kit. The only reason I bought it is because it flies autonomously and I can focus on what I’m doing without having to also mess around with manually flying it at the same time. Hopefully you can get out to fly yours soon.
Very nice , enjoy ur video outta all my quads from dji and skydio , which some been collecting dust for months , i just received my hover camera today i must say i have not been this excited as today playing around with my hover camera so user friendly just perfect companion all jokes aside im reallu really loving mine be safe and thanks for video u have earn a sub for ur work explaining in detail
It's been crappy weather here so I haven't been able to use it as much as I've wanted to, but I believe it can go 50 feet high and perhaps the same distance from you. That's more than enough for how I'm going to use it.
Don’t know if you mentioned it - but there is also a simple manual control besides the pre-programmed modes. You can use the app on your phone as a controller. The hover air x1 can also take both videos and still photos. Great video.
The reason that the charger only charges one battery at a time and it picks the one that's the fullest and the reason they do that is so you can get up flying again while the other ones charging if they charge them both of the same time it would take a lot longer and you have to wait for the second battery to get all charged up before you could fly again.
i saw these few weeks back. perfect solution. id get one when they come to australia, but Jerry hates drones she freaks out at them. haha... the noise cancelling is amazing. I would add a smidge of ambient sound on top to make it sound more natural
I don’t think I’ve had this much fun with any other camera I’ve ever purchased. Definitely worth getting one when they become available, just remember to buy earmuffs for Jerry at the same time.
Best review I've seen with this camera/drone... and I've been watching a bunch of them. Good explanation and demonstration. What was the delivery time from order to receiving it? I have a DJI Mini (and formerly a Yuneek Q500), but it takes time to set up and the hassle with no-fly zones. This looks more manageable for fast and easy use. Thanks for posting this video.
Connect your camera to the app, then press the "Hover" button at the bottom. After that you'll see a "Hover Settings" button at the top of the page . Click that, scroll to the bottom until you see "Unit of Length." From there you can change meters to feet. Have fun with the camera!
Good video. Thank you It seems that this selfie drone does not have safety functions : no detection of obstacles and no owner recognition. Could you confirm these points, please ?
That’s about right. I wouldn’t classify it as a drone, as it’s range is only about 50 feet. It’s more of an action camera that flies enabling you to film yourself from different perspectives while out alone.
@@weekendwanderer5514 You are right, this is a "Selfie flying camera". Have you tested if anyone can get the Hover X1 land on his open hand, even if he is not the owner ?
It’s not AI. I’m not saying you’re the one that called it that, but if they’re advertising it as AI, it really isn’t. I do like your review however, thank you for the review
Wow, absolutely fantastic,, thanks for showing us this one,, 👍😃
It’s definitely a great concept for a solo creator.
Amazing product and great demo. Very clear explanation. Anybody who watches this video will want one of these cameras.
Thanks Johnnyp!

It’s perfect for real estate videos and photography. I’ve flown it in my own house and it works really well indoors (although the dog hates it).
@@weekendwanderer5514 😂 🐕
I actually didn’t think of him being a to use it indoors. That’s a great idea. Thanks again my friend

Thank you so much. Much appreciated! I think you are both going to have a lot of fun with this device.
Love it as well 👍🏼 prolly gonna be my favorite of my other DJI drones. Happy Flying 👋🏼
It really is a lot of fun and the pre-programmed flying modes allow you to fly it while you’re doing something else. Brilliant!
this review is the best IMO thanks for sharing!

Absolutely correct. Flying it manually doesn't really appeal to me so I did gloss over the ability to control it with the app.

Thank you for watching and commenting. It came in less than a week by FedEx.
@@weekendwanderer5514 Thanks!
Nice video, will the x1 follow a vehicle or does it need to see a person?
It follows the person. You can fly it manually to follow a vehicle but it's more like a camera on an invisible selfie stick than a proper drone.
@@weekendwanderer5514 thanks!
Great video thanks for showing. How did you get the discount? I'm planning on buying one for my travels.
Thank you. They offered a limited time $20 discount and I was lucky enough to order mine during that period. I think you’re going to like it!

Thank you my friend.
How do you get the files off it?
It establishes a wireless connection with your phone. It’s very quick.
It's awesome but the price is insane especially considering it's kinda only got 1 job.
You can also fly it as you would any drone using your phone as the controller.
