I'll probably still get it but after seeing your experience with the HoverX1 i might get that too as a backup. Love the fact you don't need a remote,it does its own thing. This is the best video on UA-cam covering this camera. Do you know if you can change the distance the camera from you when in 'follow' or 'dolly track' mode?
Pretty neat drone, I use a DJI but this seems like something I'd carry with me almost everywhere I'd go. The DJI I have is more for pictures / videos of the landscape, where this would be more of a personal vlogging tool.
Indeed a little grainy as I was filming in the late evening and the bird eye footage was at sundown. Hence, not recommended to fly it in dim lighting :)

Guessing while searching Broga Hill. UA-cam Algorithm popped your channel on my screen as you climbed the hill. Nice video, cheers.

I’m very impressed by your enthusiasm and excitement when you first started using the drone camera. But, I have a question which you might be able to answer for me. I understand that the camera is programmed by the user to follow their own image. Can you please tell me how difficult is it to change the settings to follow someone else? My daughter rides in equestrian events and I would like to set the drone to follow her (at a sensible distance) when she is in the area. Your presentation was excellent. Hi Alan, the camera identifies and locks the target person to follow during take off. So the only way for it to follow your daughter, is for your daughter to fly it herself (which is not practical in an equestrian setting). Alternatively, you will have to fly it manually using the Hover app. Another important point I wish to tell you is, the propellers noise is high pitched, so it might trigger the horse and affect the whole performance. Something to consider :)
@@JunOutdoors good evening Jun it was so good to see your kind response. I will need to use the drone with my daughter in a practice arena to ensure that the horse is not frightened by the noise. Most competition horses are trained to be calm in the event that something upsets them. I clearly recall a horse being frightened by a very small empty paper bag which had blown by the wind, but fortunately it didn’t cause any problems. I have not yet purchased the X1, so I have no true understanding of just how much noise they will make. Hopefully it will not be too long before mine arrives and I get chance to play! Thank you very much for your advice and, now that I have discovered your site I will be interested to see how your own experiences develop. Kind regards Alan

Great video. the footage looks good and the modes useful. so on a longer hike you would need to take a power bank to charge the x1. The kind of thing you can take trail running. Hey there, the intelligent flight modes record only yourself and your surrounding. But if you connect the device to your smartphone via the Hover App, you get to access the manual controller, which you can use to fly it like a regular drone.

Hi, this is a pocket size camera, won't be able to fly as far or as high as an actual drone, but yes, if you access the manual controller on the app, you can shoot without the operator in it.

Hi Rick, it's indeed a cool little gadget. I do admit it is quite noisy but for the size, price, ease of use, and portability, I think its a fair compromise. Hopefully the drone company is able to take away the noise in future versions!
With each battery you'll get about 10-11 minute flight time, or up to 20 intelligent flights. The camera comes with 1 onboard battery but there is the option to purchase the charging hub and extra batteries.

I have recently paid for this and await delivery. Do you have any idea how long from time of order to delivery to Uk. Did you notice the battery drains even while it is off. 🤯. I charged the drone the night before flying. The next morning I checked the drone and the four charge lights were down to two lights. You either have to remove the battery or fly immediately after charging to get your full 11 minutes. They have a drain or short somewhere in the design that needs fixing ASAP.
Oh dear, not sure what went wrong for you, but mine doesn't have that issue. Still fully charged the next day. Perhaps will be good for you to give the feedback to the company :)
Unfortunately she keeps switching between X1 footage and hand held footage. You have to be very alert if your purpose is to assess the X1. Easy to get confused.
Unfortunately using just the Hover footage would not be sufficient to create a full video, hence the need to supplement the review with footage from other cameras. Thanks for your input though. Cheers :)
At 2.7k dji mini se is much good in video ang pictures but in terms ok portability ang eaay usage this one is good For no experience in flying a down this will do. 😊
**OVERPRICED : The price is almost like Mini (compact & light weight & have alot better features). **FEATURES : At this kind of price, just compare with other drones, the features for this is not really good, not worth for the price. U have to *check online & *compare. There are alot companies selling similar & alot cheaper. Since you are using drone.....i want to share one story.....remember the plane crash in Shah Alam last few days.....killing 8 people on board and 2 civilians people....one of the video if you look closely the plane engine got fire....at first the authority think it must be a bird.....and secondly they suspect it is because of the engine collided with drone....but this is still under authority investigation.....just share some info
Thanks for this piece of information. It was such a tragedy. Many possibilities, lets see what the authorities can find. This tiny pocket-sized camera can only fly to as far as 15 meters so it is pretty harmless.
Yeah definitely something to think about and indeed a tragedy. May their souls rest in peace whilst the authorities investigate the root cause. Jun's HOVERAir X1 is like a personal videocamera assistant (almost Toy with good camera) with advantage of AI. Short battery duration, low weight of 125g, max distance 30m, max height 15m. Jun's at Broga Hill - away from any aerodrome or flight paths so should be safe.

The battery has a limit of 11 minutes , 2 batteries will be ok but the idea is to be light

Honestly I am not sure. Some people have camped up there in the past, but without permit whatsoever. Authorities do patrol the area once in awhile.

**FEATURES : At this kind of price, just compare
with other drones, the features for this is not really good, not worth for the price.
U have to *check online & *compare. There are alot companies selling similar & alot cheaper. Or wait for a while, there will definitely more companies in china will produce same *compact, light-weight, *no-controller, *selfie drone with better *wind resistant, better *resolution, better *sensor longer, flight *time & much *more.

Since you are using drone.....i want to share one story.....remember the plane crash in Shah Alam last few days.....killing 8 people on board and 2 civilians people....one of the video if you look closely the plane engine got fire....at first the authority think it must be a bird.....and secondly they suspect it is because of the engine collided with drone....but this is still under authority investigation.....just share some info

This tiny pocket-sized camera can only fly to as far as 15 meters so it is pretty harmless.
Yeah definitely something to think about and indeed a tragedy. May their souls rest in peace whilst the authorities investigate the root cause.
